• khurram (1/5): - Location, 10 mins walk to the main city centre - market street. Property is not in a state to let for holiday rentals, it has damp and mold on the walls and bedroom ceiling, half of the lights were not working and host's response was that this is building management issue and they cannot do anything about it! In the living room large glass window including door had cracks all over. The building itself is a construction site with signs of "not being safe" everywhere. Overall due to health and safety reasons we had to request cancellation with booking.com, which was actioned and we were relocated but it wasted the entire first day of our holiday.

• Conor (5/5): Cheap for a reason - Host sent a video to find the keys, super helpful and easy. He was really responsive to WhatsApp and this process was easy. Car parking was free and easy. The place in general needs some TLC. The back of the couch was broken and one of our guests fell off it. The lock on the bathroom door doesn't work, both of which the host knew about previously but didn't mention. The window in the door to the balcony is smashed from the outside. Initially the host told us we couldn't park there 1 of our 3 nights as the last guests lost the keys, this was very annoying as we had driven from Dublin, thankfully he sorted this in time. However on our last day he requested we let the cleaner in 30-45 mins before checkout and was not happy when we initially said no. Rented this place with my girlfriend and parents, don't expect to be rushed out of a place 30 mins before check out because the cleaner arrived early. Do not recommend this place at all. It was cheap, without the cheerful.

• Victor (1/5): Severe Cleanliness, Maintenance, and Noise Issues – Service Not Provided as Advertised - Nothing During my stay, the apartment had multiple serious issues that affected habitability, cleanliness, comfort, security, and my ability to live and work in the space. These issues existed during my stay and were not properly resolved after being reported. The issues included all of the following: * The main window did not close or latch properly, which caused constant outside noise and made the apartment uncomfortable to stay in. * There was continuous hammer-jack construction noise, making it impossible to rest or work from the apartment. * Due to problems with the bathroom and plumbing, I was unable to shower in the apartment and had to shower at a gym instead. * I was unable to do laundry because the washing machine was left full of dirty, used towels from previous guests. * The sink was dirty and clearly not properly cleaned on arrival, and the fridge had a strong, unpleasant smell. * The blinds in the apartment were broken. * One of the chairs was broken. * There were cracked glass walls inside the apartment. * Women’s underwear was found under the sink, raising serious hygiene and cleanliness concerns. *A PACKAGE DELIVERED TO THE PROPERTY WAS STOLEN APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR AFTER DELIVERY, RAISING SERIOUS CONCERNS ABOUT SECURITY. I reported these issues during my stay. The host attempted to minimise the situation by describing the problems as “easy fixes” or suggesting workarounds, such as using another bedroom, rather than providing a fully functional and clean apartment as advertised.

• Charlotte (8/5): Overall good stay, great location. - The instructions/video recording provided for finding lock box. The close proximity to the city. Nice and warm. Good communication from host. It was really difficult to find the right property and the access door. There were a lot of roadworks and property maintenance going on. Instructions for finding the key were a little confusing initially being told to go to a shop then changing to lock box location. Property was a little tired in places - e.g gaping skirting boards. Some blinds had lats missing. There was no bedside table in the second bedroom or light switch/lamp next to the bed. A number of bulbs had gone in main bathroom plus the lamp in the lounge and at the side of the bed in the main bedroom didn’t work. No instructions for working tv.

• Vivek (5/5): - Decent 2 bedroom in terms of size Construction in front of the building made it very difficult to find. Stairs leading upto the main door not luggage friendly. Finding the keys was also a challenge in the rain. Apartment lights were not working and pots n pans were not usable. Mohammed the host was very responsive and replaced everything as quick as possible. The sofa was also broken and there were no soap in the bathrooms. With a little attention from the housekeeping crew, this apartment could be great.

• David (6/5): Not the nicest of flats, not like the pictures, poorly maintained. - Proximity to city centre Damage not repaired, water damage to bathrooms, blinds broken, windows broken, the lights not working in master bedroom. The access was interesting with a lock box attached to a different building.

• Steuart (7/5): Satisfactory - Close proximity to the city centre - was able to walk everywhere! Unfortunately there were roadworks right outside the window which made lots of noise.
• Carla (10/5): Perfectly located, really cosy and spotless apartment with an outstanding host. - We loved the central location and how easy it was to get to other parts of Manchester that we really wanted to visit! It was so comfy and cosy and felt like a home away from home which is exactly what we wanted, I'd definitely stay here again over a hotel. The apartment was lovely and clean, the beds were perfect which is great for someone who doesn't always sleep well in other beds - the smart TV was really easy to navigate also when we just wanted a quiet night in. Although we didn't use the kitchen much other than using a few plates, it had everything you would need if you wanted to use it. Our host Mohammed was very attentive and kind and really went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. As we are not from Manchester, it was really useful to have his instructions on how to gain access to the apartment which he sent on the morning of the day we arrived :) Absolutely nothing, everything met our expectations and we had a really lovely time.

• Maria Gema (8/5): La limpieza del apartamento necesita mejorar. - Estábamos a 10 min andando de todo el centro. La limpieza, cubiertos sin fregar, restos de comida en la nevera.
• Agliardi (7/5): - Posizione ottima, molto centrale. Appartamento ben arredato. L’host è stato molto gentile, ci ha mandato un video per aiutarci a trovare la posizione delle chiavi e l’ingresso dell’appartamento, oltre che a preoccuparsi che non ci servisse nulla. Il soggiorno era fornito di una smart tv che si poteva collegare allo smartphone. La pulizia poteva essere di gran lunga migliore. In soggiorno dietro il divano abbiamo trovato molta polvere e un’ape morta. Le camere da letto erano abbastanza pulite ma nei bagni c’era un forte odore di disinfettante. Purtroppo abbiamo trovato il piano cottura incrostato e non ben pulito. Non il massimo per chi considera la pulizia l’aspetto più importante. Consiglierei al proprietario di cambiare agenzia di pulizie.

• Fotios (5/5): budget friendly place, but not very well taken care of - Cosy, affordable place next door to an amazing pub! Ubfortunately the place is very worn down, and the flat wasnt professionally cleaned. For example we even found a full ashtray from the previous guests, and the windows looked like they havent been cleaned in ages! Due to the proximity to the ring road the place is very loud.

• Damion (1/5): If I count of rated this apartment a -5 I would. - It’s an ok flat for the purpose of our stay The bed in the master bedroom bed is very uncomfortable, there is big sink in the middle of bed which causes terrible back pain. When having a shower the water doesn’t run out, basically the shower cubicle fulls up with water. The pots and pans are extremely tiny so when cooking you need to cook little by little. Cooking utensils are by far not the greatest.

• Glorijoy (3/5): Disappointing - The washing machine worked well and there was adequate heating for November. The place was clean and a 10 minute uphill walk from Manchester Victoria. The kitchen was dismal. We checked in with about 5mls of dishwashing liquid left and no spare. There were a few small saucepans that were poorly maintained and scratched. We didn't even have a proper knife to cut fruit or prepare food. We were told that sharp knives cannot be provided for safety reasons, which is quite bizarre for a place that advertises a kitchen. The stove and oven knobs didn't have any markings, which is very hazardous given you have no idea what temperature the oven is set at or which hot plate is turned on. The ensuite toilet had a shower area that didn't drain well and would flood during the shower. Shower gel and shampoo bottles were empty but instead replaced with a token combined shampoo/soap/conditioner bottle. The apartment faces a road and we stayed over a weekend, so street noise was a problem at night. People talking along the street could be easily heard. Instructions for trash disposal were inaccurate. We were told that it was just outside but actually we needed access to a basement carpark via a code (which we didn't have) so we couldn't bring out the trash.
• Scott (9/5): Great flat, value for money and great location! - Apartment was clean and location great for Manchester centre! Parking was local and well priced for 24 hours parking.
• Andrew (4/5): Great location, shame about the cleanliness. - The location was very good for access to the city centre being a ten minute walk away. The beds were clean and comfortable. The extremely poor cleanliness of the living area which had broken glass on the rug and floor in the living room along with drawing pins and other detritus. The strong smell of urine in the main bathroom. The smell from the main bin area in the stairwell on entering the building was very noticeable.

• Sam (7/5): Good - Location and size of apartment No sheets or towel for sofa bed. Only one set of keys was hard for 5 people as we had to stay up to let the others in much later.
• Samish (2/5): Very poor - location… the property is located close to bus stop and tram station… 1. The lighting in the bathroom 2. The gas stove, as it was not working properly. 3. There were no hooks or holders in the bathroom or in the bedroom to hang towels or worn clothes.

• Zain (10/5): Great property very close to the city centre with everything that you could need for a short stay - Host was very helpful and the apartment location and facilities were exactly as advertised/needed. Will be staying again.
• Robert (10/5): Appartement Good, Location Good, Owner Good - Great appartement, 2 bath rooms, 2 bedrooms, good size kitchen and living room. Best of all a great owner who answered any questions very fast and stayed in contact during the stay, making sure everything was going well. Can recommend to everybody. Nothing. Everything was OK!

• Shafaq (10/5): Cosy and clean apartment just a stones throw away from the city centre - Location was perfect, the city centre is a two minute walk away and I could see the Arndale centre from my balcony. Still tucked away enough that I didn’t feel disturbed too much by the city centre but close enough for me to reach everything easily. Everything was clean, there was two spacious bedrooms and a lovely kitchen/living room with a corner sofa which was perfect to relax on. Pots and pans were provided and it looked exactly the same as the pictures. The price was amazing for everything that was included in the stay. No issues during my stay, the owner Mohammed was very responsive and got back to me within minutes if I had any issues. He even offered to drop off my glasses that I left behind which was incredibly kind of him.
