Guest Reviews
- Adam (10/5): -
- Abi (10/5): Great location it was very quiet and peaceful! - Lovely and clean, spacious caravan! Had everything we required
- Sabrina (4/5): -
- Barry (9/5): - Poole the weather It's location
- Andrea (9/5): -
- Debby (7/5): - Lovely welcome. We weren't aware we had to supply our own towels. Thought it was overpriced.
- Elaine (7/5): Our expectations were met and we had a fairly relaxing holiday. - The location was perfect and we have previously stayed at Rockley Park in other caravans. We have a dog and it is an ideal place to walk out from, into Poole, onto the beach etc. 1. The bottom shelf of the fridge door was missing - we noticed in a review on Booking.com that this had happened some time ago. Would be a good idea to buy a new shelf.
2. The reed diffuser on the shelf was empty. Either have a full one or throw the empty one away.
3. When you open the gate it would be nice to be able to hold it open. There was a bit of gaffa tape on the gate that does not do that job. It needs a rope loop or something.
4. A door mat was just laid outside where you park the car. It looked scruffy and should be removed.
5. The ornaments on the shelves were a bit 'twee'.
6. The fridge has no light in it please buy a new bulb.
7. In this day and age we are not sure why WiFi does not come as standard in the caravan.
- Abby (9/5): Perfect location in a clean and comfortable caravan. - Lovely, clean caravan in a good area. It was close to everything we wanted to visit. No WiFi and no Netflix etc on tv.
- Ashok (7/5): The location and facilities were excellent, and the caravan had a nice size, which made for a comfortable stay. However, - Location Sticky PVC carpet, lack of cleanliness.
- Richard (9/5): - Good location with some great beaches and activities for kids. Accommodation was as expected for a caravan. No real issues.
- Caterina (10/5): So amazing we extended for another 3 days! Great hosts! - The caravan is lovely and cosy and in a lovely location great for our dog No cleaning supplies provided but we did book last minute
- Vrabie (8/5): -
- Jordanne (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (9/5): Lovely caravan clean , comfortable and lovely place to stay - It was lovely and clean , the bed was very comfortable , bathroom was clean but small and compact Nothing
- Marcelle (8/5): Very good -
- Bernadette (6/5): Expensive for quality off caravan - Dirty stained duvets and pillows
Disgusting
Was told we could hire bedding
When we arrived was told no bedding hire this time off year
No instructions for gas
No Wi-Fi
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - It was clean and had everything you need for a short stay
- Maciej (7/5): Good -
- Peter (8/5): comfortble staff very helpful -
- Paul (5/5): Basic facilities but OK for a weekend base - Good location for visiting family and for going to an event at Upton Country Park
Near to beaches
Quiet location on the site
Good radiators kept the place very warm and snug
Ample hot water and good shower pressure
Sufficient size for 1 adult + small dog and probably ok for a family of 4
Good host communication pre-arrival and easy check-in with a lock box Smelt like milk had been spilled in the kitchen
TV was temperamental
Double bed was very soft and short in length
No cleaning equipment provided - no washing up liquid, scourer, tea towel, bin liners etc
Basic facilities and a bit dated
- David (9/5): Nice stay thank you - Was nice location, nice layout in caravan outside seating area was nice had gate too
Had everything we needed thank you The only thing which wasn't to do with our caravan but the caravan park.
I didn't realise when I booked
Was access on first day found out there's low bridge on one road 9ft 8 inch my day van was few inches to tall so managed to find there's another road with our restrictions over level crossing.
Next morning was lucky/unlucky we went out early and noitced road works starting got back at 6 in evaning to road was told was closed till 10.30 at night they told use
so had to park in side road nearly 1 mile away from the caravan park then had fun next day fun getting back to the vechicle So if going in very tall vechicle check access there isn't any road closures planned for future otherwise everything was very nice
- Ajh (5/5): Nice if you plan not to be there - Clean and convenient for our needs Very noisy with children running around on their veranda we could hear it above our telly all evening and morning so much so I went for the day for some peace and quiet, in the evening
Thinking the children had finally gone to bed then you get noisy adults coming and going to the pub. I know it's a campsite/holiday park. I wasn't expecting it so noisy when inside with the windows closed

- Kellie (10/5): Great stay! - We have been to Rockley Park many times as we love Poole so much. Laguna was lovely, clean & comfortable. We were allowed to bring our two small dogs too which was great. We had one day with torrential rain, but the games in the caravan kept us amused. Contact with the owner was very quick & responsive. Would stay again.
- Navaratnarajah (9/5): Superb - Location and good condition
- Christina (9/5): Overall a good place to stay. Nice and relaxing and owner was very helpful. - Veranda with outside light was good at night to sit and relax. Spacious living area. Really helpful owner when the laundry lady hadn’t received my email he sorted it out and the lady was also brilliant delivering in the evening. Located near the end of the ‘road’ within the park, so not really too overlooked and was quiet with not too many people walking past. As the park is so big the caravan was located quite a long way away from all facilities/sports etc which was both an advantage and disadvantage as we enjoyed the quiet, but the kids didn’t really use facilities as much as they would have liked to. Couldn’t get access to the pool as was already all booked up. Not owner’s fault at all, but pool was one reason for booking.
Didn’t like the cleaner leaving an envelope for a tip. I didn’t feel that it was appropriate. The property was very clean, but not immaculate.
- Jack (6/5): Pleasant - The property was in a really good area, located near the Rockley Park facilities, not too far so was perfect and it was quiet enough. The beds were comfy, although had a blood stain and hairs on them. The caravan was tidy and well presented, although the bedroom with the two single beds had some issues including multiple hairs on the mattress on the bed on the left side, and a very dark blood stain (could have been something else, but looked like blood?) on the bed on the right side. Some of the drinking glasses had stains in them, looking like they were unwashed, The last day was disappointing as we put some toast in the toaster and it cut the electric out, the fuse wouldn’t come back on causing us to vacate the property at 6am in the morning, meaning we couldn’t shower as left without hot water and we couldn’t cook breakfast.
In conclusion, I’m a little disappointed especially when we had to leave extremely early due to no water, we wasn’t able to obtain phone signal causing issues contacting the owner to notify, by the time I told the owner (around 8am ish I think it was) we was half way home, I think a booklet with contact details in the caravan is required just in case for future guests. Any guests in the future should be extremely careful when using the toaster as it’s flimsy and caused entire power outage. I feel like the price of the accommodation was steep, considering it was basic and it wasn’t cleaned very well.
- Ajay (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (10/5): a great place to relax and spend time with family! - everything was great!
- Nikola (10/5): Excellent - Very close to the amenities. Clean caravan with all equipment, like coffee machine and hairdryer.
- Nikola (10/5): Loved it - Good contact with the owner.
I loved that there was a coffee machine in the caravan.
It's really close to the swimming pool and bar. None
- Janine (6/5): Nice site would book direct to get the best deal - As I stayed in a private caravan I didn't get to explore all that this site had to offer, but what I did see I was impressed by, there was lots of security which were very helpful and made me feel safe, all the areas were clean and in good condition and the outside pool looked lovely. I would like to stay at this location but I would book direct. As I booked privately it didn't state that the passes were not included so we couldn't use the pool or enjoy the entertainment which was very disappointing. So for the price i paid just to stay in caravan it was expensive.
- Hill (9/5): Superb -
- Lee (8/5): Perfect place for families to explore Poole and the surrounding area. - Perfect property for a family of 4 and our Labradoodle. The main restaurant on site was poor, but no reflection on the other facilities.
- Ivo (1/5): Bad -
- Maxine (8/5): Love Dorset caravan great value for money use it as a base not for haven ! - Caravan clean basic equipment for kitchen but unless you are owner staying during the season it’s what you would expect bottom drawer of fridge broke on one side so had to switch drawer around to hold more than milk . It was a base to explore when you book direct with owner you cannot book passes but tbh that only was swimming the rest you had to pay for for apart from crazy golf and the resort actually is pretty poor how they sell caravans I have no idea . Plus side my granddaughters loved the experience but after the £24 for the pottery experience of a mug and unicorn we explored. Corfe castle literally 30 mins away and then we parked in harmeston which is literally 9 mins from corfe and saves you £10 return to swanage . We had a great steam train ride to swanage and a great walk along the beach. Unfortunately my granddaughter is gluten intolerant and the best fish and chip shop in swanage doesn’t do gluten intolerant but lakeside in Poole does and both gluten free and normal were delicious a great end to our weekend in Poole . Plus is where it’s situated very quiet for us was great had a 4 and 8 year old to get to sleep . Also price was great booking through booking .com I hear some people complaining about how much it was booking through Haven ! Property was great for what we wanted
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (5/5): Overpriced and underperforming - The property was pet friendly and had parking The property was not properly cleaned, and previous clients left over food containers overflowing the bin on a really hot day. Hair and debris were in the shower groove, and the plate drainer was encrusted with limescale and food debris.
Outside, the decking is dirty and needs pressure washing.
There was no hairdryer as advertised, and after informing the host, we were told to buy one but nothing too expensive and would be reimbursed. This is open to wild interpretation and so we were not willing to take the risk.
The mattress is the worst we have experienced, infact it was horrendous, and you can feel every spring.
There were literally no amenities, a tiny bit of toilet roll, no dish brush, dish cloth or scourer, and no tea towel.
A virtually empty caravan where you bring all your own laundry and cleaning products, including bin liners, not a scrap is provided, which is not abundantly clear when you book by which time it os too late.
This property does not offer any element of value for money, infact it is expensive for the standard you receive.
The contact is very blunt, bordering on rude.
With so many options on the Rockley site, we would recommend avoiding this particular offering entirely.
- Patchee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peta (8/5): Very good - The unit was excellent. It was ideal for what we wanted to do. The facilities on site we didn't go much on. The shop was good and the staff in the shop were pleasant.
- Cameron (10/5): Lovely place. - Loved the caravan, modern and clean, the site was very central and loved the little extras like the DVDs, books, board games and coffee machine. The site is lovely and great communication from the host.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Gracie (9/5): Family and pet friendly - Great location and fab holiday with the children and our 2 puppies! Would definitely return!
- Dickinson (9/5): Superb - Nice caravan location perfect to get to the beach and to the harbour On arrival rubbish was left outside by previous guests
- Viktors (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nikola (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glazer (10/5): Exceptional -
