• nadege (10/5): On se sent comme à la maison dans un décor magnifique!!! - La maison est très bien équipée, fonctionnelle et accueillante. Calme et très près d’une plage effectivement sans sargasse et agréable. Le livret « mode d’emploi » de la location et la présence de tous les manuels d’utilisation des appareils ménager sont un vrai plus!!!

• Fabian (4/5): Great beach, tranquil town, mediocre appartment - We spent 11 days with our two kids (3 years, 8 months) in Port Louis. We enjoyed the small town a lot; the tranquility and the beautiful seaside is perfect to spend time with kids. We were there in March when trade winds are blowing consistently from the east. Since the cost is directed towards the West you are somewhat protected from the wind. This brings you calm water and makes it easy to spend a lot of time at the magnificient beach.Generally Plage Souffleur and the trail to Anse Bertrand are a bliss. There is a decent intermediate surf spot for surfers as well which was somewhat consistent. In the house we liked the well equipped kitchen and the calm surroundings. We also liked the fact that you can walk to the port (5min) and to plage souffleur 20min. The parking situation is also very easy. Snorkel equipment was available. The house is the middle one in a row of three terraced houses. In contrast to the other two neighbouring houses the back garden of this house is almost completely covered by a roof to form a terrace. This has two negative consequences: 1. the main living and kitchen of the house in the ground floor (which is pretty cramped) receives very little daylight making it a pretty uncomfortable space to spend time in 2. there is close to no air circulation on the roofed terrace (despite two ceiling ventilators) so that it feels like a true breeding ground for mosquitos. for us the terrace remained basically a no-go area (except for quick runs to the refrigerator which is placed on said terrace) This brings me to one of the most annoying aspects: the amount of mosquitos *in* the house is very hard to bear, especially with kids. All windows are already equipped with mosquito nets, but they seem to be leaky. Even when putting on mosquito spray and wearing long clothes in main living area on the ground floor without aircon (🥵), the main living area remains a constant mosquito hassle, definitely not a place to spend pleasant times. The kids spent the nights scratching the mosquito bites 🙃 Due to surrounding mangroves, Port Louis generally has a lot of mosquitos, but we found the situation in the house particularly annoying. I would definitely return to Port Louis, but not to this accommodation. Lastly, the host tried to charge us 110€ for some leaves that fell off from the plastic bamboo in the living area (see fotos of accommodation). To us this felt very off.

• Eric (10/5): Excellent - Nous recommandons fortement l’abri côtier. Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a été chaleureux et impeccable. Sandrine nous a fait visiter la maison en nous expliquant clairement son fonctionnement. La maison est entièrement équipée, confortable, spacieuse et très accueillante. De plus, deux belles plages se trouvent à proximité, ainsi que d’excellents restaurants. Si nous retournons en Guadeloupe, il est certain que nous relouerons cette propriété sans hésiter.

• Bernard (10/5): Location agréable, bien située, ne pas hésiter ! - Maison spacieuse, sécurisée et très bien équipée, il ne manque rien. Cuisine fonctionnelle. Glacière à disposition. Réfrigérateur-congélateur, etc… Quartier calme, proche du port et d’une petite plage. Centre ville et commerce à quelques minutes à pied. Climatisation très silencieuse dans les chambres et bien placée pour ne pas avoir le flux d’air directement sur les lits. Ventilateurs partout et même sur la terrasse. 2 wc. 1 place de stationnement devant la maison. Service de conciergerie efficace et sympathique qui nous a fourni un repas le soir de notre arrivée tardive. Rien
