• Edith (7/5): - Lovely situation, easy to find and negotiate everything one needs, all linen and bed comfort. Easy entry to property If you want to cook kitchen facilities and equipment poor. Iron is dangerous with bare wires.

• FabZin (8/5): Appartement agréable et lumineux - Appartement lumineux avec deux grandes chambres confortables et une terrasse avec vue sur la mer où l’on peut déjeuner tranquillement. Les propriétaires sont très facilement joignables et répondent rapidement en cas de problème (en l’occurrence coupure d’eau d’une journée dans le quartier) La cuisine est fonctionnelle mais peu pratique.

Host Sebastiano, disponibilissimo e gentile. Gli arredi in generale, infissi che non isolano totalmente dai rumori esterni, parcheggio non dipsonibile. Sostanzialmente un bell'appartemtno che con qualche piccolo ritocco diventerebbe ottimo.

• AgnesKo (10/5): - Great location in the historic part of Syracuse. Close to the sea and a market with fruits, vegetables, and souvenirs. You can also enjoy Sicilian specialties there. The apartment is located on the third and top floor of a tenement building with a large terrace overlooking the sea. Clean, with comfortable beds. I highly recommend it.

• Sally (8/5): Great location, and beautiful views - Fantastic rooftop patio and great views over the rooftops in one direction, and the sea.in the other. On the top floor, so over 60 steps to reach the apartment.

• Jenna (8/5): Close to everything and great value for money! - The hosts of this apartment were so lovely and helpful! Simona's husband picked us up from the train station which was amazing, and he dropped us off when we left too! Simona met us at the door to let us in and show us around. The apartment is lovely and clean and the beds were comfy. The outdoor terrace is great and has a water view. There is no lounge room as such, but the small dining area was fine. The kitchen was a little small but still had everything we needed to cook at home sometimes. We swam off the rocks every day, the water is so clean and full of fish, only a minutes walk from the house. And the centre of town is very close as well. Thank you for having us! A full sized fridge/freezer would've been good but the kitchen is small so perhaps one can't fit. Everything else was great.
• Valeria (8/5): - Bra läge i Gamla stan, nära resten av ön men också nära till stan. Lugnt läge där man inte störs av mycket trafik. En liten men välsorterad Coop 5 min promenad där man kunde köpa dagsfärska bröd bl a. Det finns även en daglig marknad ännu närmare som säljer allt, från mat till kläder, porslin mm. Lägenheten är för 4 personer, vi var 2 st och det var nog mer lagom, kanske lite trångt för 4 ( iallafall vuxna) med tanke på det lilla köket, kylen och även badrummet. Härligt värdpar som alltid fanns snabbt till förfogande vid minsta undran. Lite torftiga och obekväma utemöbler på den annars fina lilla terazzen.
• Lena (9/5): A charming apartment in a perfect location - A cozy apartment with a spacious terrace and a perfect location in the old town. Just a stone’s throw from the sea, which you can see from the terrace. The host, Simona, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed. The apartment is at the top floor and there’s no elevator in the very warm stairwell. But of course, that’s to be expected when staying in an old building. The fridge was a bit worn and could probably use replacing. Otherwise, everything was great!

• Hromada (9/5): Superb - Loved the location and the roof top terrace. Simona the host, was lovely, welcoming and helpful. The unit was perfect for our needs.
• Holly (8/5): Very good - Lovely views from the terrace Friendly and helpful owner Good location to walk everywhere Spacious bedrooms and nicely decorated Overall this is a basic holiday apartment which just needs some care, attention and maintenance to freshen things up. The kitchen while small is functional but a few items of the equipment were broken. The terrace does not have a cover. It is very hot during the day and you can't really sit out there except morning and late afternoon. I would definitely suggest putting a cover on it so guests can enjoy it.

The terrace was spacious with table and chairs so you can enjoy your coffee, drink or lunch. The check in was smooth and the hosts were available for anything needed.

Bedrooms good size and nicely decorated. Beds comfortable Sundeck. Free coffee/tea. Very noisy from passing people, motorbikes and rubbish trucks at 5pm! Why in a tourist holiday town? Very small and poorly equipped kitchen. No washing machine. Maintenance of apartment needs impovement. No real seaviews in reality. No elevator.

Clean and comfortable apartment .Owners easy to contact friendly and helpful and Sebi met us at the apartment and showed us the best parking nearby which was very helpful because it is very busy in Ortigia . Plumbing in the bathroom was quite noisy intermittently Suggest some washing up liquid for use in the kitchen and a chopping board . We did not cook .
• Anne (9/5): Ortigia is a must! - The location was amazing. Centrally situated to all the fabulous sites, shops and restaurants of this stunning area. Although there are 65 steps from front door to the apartment, we didn’t find this a problem but it may be for others. Apartment is small and basic but value for money. The owners were very responsive and there is air con in both bedrooms. Although there were low table with chairs on balcony, a table and chairs suitable for dining in the balcony would be great.

• Miriana (6/5): Pleasant - The location was amazing, around 10 minutes from the centre of Ortigia. The flat has a nice outer area with the view of ortigia beach. The mattress of the singles bedroom was disaster, just foam. We ended up sleeping in one bedroom since the second bedroom had another single bed.

• Et (10/5): Exceptional - Great place in a good location at Ortigia. 200 from the public parking. Perfect apartment for 4 - 5 people. With kitchen, balcony and air conditioning. The owners are very nice, glad to assist. More expensive than the other places we took in Sicily but it was worth it. The apartment we got was on the last floor. There were a lot of stairs to climb without an elevator available. Need to think of if you have problems with mobility or with stairs. The refrigerator is a bit small and weak, not suitable for large amounts of food.

• Robert (9/5): A wonderful place to stay on this delightful island! - Wonderful location, very kind and responsive hosts, absolutely lovely patio with ocean views, great value. The water (sinks, shower, commode) didn’t work our last morning, but this was not the host’s/property’s fault- the entire building lost water supply due to a street-level issue, and our host responded immediately to a message about it.
• Yurij_84 (9/5): Great accommodation in the heart of Siracusa - Great accommodation from where you can easily explore the island of Ortigia, the terrace is fantastic and you can see the sea too. We had everything we needed for an undisturbed rest! Thank You :-) everything was fine
• Benjamin (10/5): Wonderful roof top apartment superbly located on Ortigia island - Superbly located apartment on Ortigia island, with the sea one side and the old town the other, and the market at the end of the street. The roof terrace is a particularly great feature. Lovely host too. There’s so much in Siracusa, it would be a great holiday just to stay there. We wanted to explore and so had a hire car. It’s possible to park near the apartment at the Talete car park: €15 for 24 hours, renewed daily. However in August the car park is full from late afternoon until around midnight, meaning it’s necessary in practice to be back on Ortigia island by 5pm, when there is an afternoon lull.
