• Quentin Hendrik (7/5): Ok to stay short - no comfort and bad breakfast - Lokale Unterkunft mit einfachen Zimmern und Betten. Ausstattung minimal und in nicht gutem Zustand. Für Strand und kurze Erkundungen ganz okay. Sauberkeit, Personal und Ausstattung waren okay, aber insgesamt ist es eine nicht gutem Standard entsprechende Unterkunft. Frühstück war schlecht.

• Pedro Costa (9/5): Estoril Hotel – Apartments Recomendo - “O Estoril Hotel – Apartments é um pequeno hotel simples, muito bem localizado, a apenas 500 metros da praia e do centro. O diretor do hotel é extremamente simpático e atencioso. O espaço é muito limpo e oferece uma excelente relação qualidade-preço.” De manhã havia um pouco de barulho não sei se era os clientes ou as funcionárias a falarem.
• Uwe (8/5): Einfach aber gut - Das Frühstück ist vielfältig. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber zweckmäßig. Obwohl es keine Klimaanlage gibt waren die Temperaturen im Zimmer angenehm. Am Anfang gab es einige Probleme im Zimmer. Diese wurden aber Zeitnah abgestellt. Es gab nur einen Zimmerschlüssel der abgegeben werden musste, da sonst das Zimmermädchen nicht reingekommen wäre. Das war aber nur bei meinem Zimmer so.
• Wolfgang (7/5): gute Alternative - Das relativ einfache Hotel ist eine gute Alternative zu den Bettenburgen auf Boa Vista. Das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl, insbesonders bei süssen Backwaren. Die Lage zum Strand bzw. zum Zentrum von Sal Rei ist sehr gut. Die Qualität der Speisen für das Abendessen ist ebenfalls gut. Leider ist die Warmwasserversorgung der Dusche Glückssache, am Waschbecken hervorragend. Auch andere Gäste hatten dieses Problem.
• GIORGIA (8/5): Non avendo troppe aspettative il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole - La struttura è in posizione ottima vicina al centro a tutti i servizi e soprattutto a 100 m dalla stupenda spiaggia di Estoril La struttura è caratteristica ma avrebbe bisogno di qualche lavoretto di ristrutturazione. La nostra stanza ampia e anche se molto semplice, pulita giornalmente con cambio asciugamani ogni 2 gg. C è da migliorare sulla qualità della colazione ma non manca nulla.

• Lu Pi (5/5): price too high for poor service - Breakfast was very good and served in a large, pleasant outdoor area The quality/price ratio was not satisfactory. Upon our arrival, it took us half an hour to get settled into our apartment, despite having given notice of our arrival time and having booked 10 days in advance. The ground-floor apartment overlooks an internal courtyard, sheltered from the wind but with an unpleasant smell of cat feces. The interior of the apartment appears quite bare, unclean, and in a neglected condition: broken kitchen cabinets, old and poorly-maintained cabinets, no lamps in the bedrooms. The lack of towels in the bathroom is noteworthy.

• Ophelie (8/5): Convenient small size hotel with friendly staff - The location is great, steps away from the beach, shops and restaurants The staff is friendly and helpful and the room clean. The outside of the hotel is nice, I really like the terrace outside on the 1st floor and I appreciated the small size if the hotel. Excellent value for money The lack of A/C was not an issue for me The room inside is dark and outdated, it needs some refreshing. It is necessary to keep the curtains close to have some privacy. The shower tray fills up very quickly so the pipe might be clogged a bit. The bathroom lacks some good lightnings. I'm not difficult when it comes for food but I find the breakfast average (it ranges from good such as the homemade cake to bad such as the fruit juice) Wifi is bad (at least for working as I had to, the connection is slow and unstable)

• Renato (8/5): Opção económica em Sal Rei - Os quarto correspondeu ao que aparece nas fotos e tinha tudo o que é preciso. O pequeno-almoço é simples mas tem diversidade qb e deixou-me satisfeito. A localização é boa, ao lado da praia e de vários restaurantes. Na primeira noite havia uma máquina perto do quarto que fazia algum barulho quando arrancava. Mas pedi para ir para outro quarto, tendo sido atendido.

Nous avons mangé le soir au restaurant devant l'hôtel c'était très bon. Le fait qu'il y ait des travaux un peu partout...mais bon dans la journée nous ne restions pas sur place...

Había hormigas en la habitación y las habitaciones eran muy antiguas. El desayuno bastante regular No había agua caliente y cuando si había no tenía nada de presión, solo había presión en el agua fría y al pasarla al agua caliente solo caía un hilo de agua

• Lucaskl (5/5): Vorrei ma non posso - Posizione a due passi dalla spiaggia e poco altro. La signora delle colazioni simpaticissima ed iper cordiale Struttura vecchiotta, in fase di cambio gestione. Personale svogliato e poco competente, più di 48 ore per una lavatrice e metà dei panni sono stati macchiati. Eravamo gli unici ospiti e comunque ci hanno dato una stanza buia al piano terra, umida e con una ventola rumorosissima. Il potenziale c'è, ma ad oggi offre un servizio ai limiti della decenza per quello che costa
• Mattia Enrico (7/5): Situato a pochi passi da Praia do Estoril e Sal Rei, struttura con discreto rapporto qualità/prezzo - Struttura situata a pochi passi a piedi da Praia do Estoril, una delle spiagge principali di Boa Vista e più vicine al centro principale dell'isola ovvero Sal Rei. La struttura è composta da un piano terra ed un piano superiore e gli spazi comuni sono all'aperto. Camera spaziosa standard, dotata di mini frigo e bagno privato con doccia e bidet. Colazione a buffet inclusa nella tariffa. Staff gentile e disponibile. Discreto rapporto qualità/prezzo. Colazione a buffet buona ma molto ripetitiva e basic, fruibile nel locale principale della struttura (bar e di sera ristorante), sicuramente da migliorare e da variegare. Camera senza aria condizionata ma soltanto con ventilatore a soffitto, in alcune notti ha fatto molto caldo nonostante fosse al massimo e avessimo lasciato aperte le finestre.
• Reinilda (4/5): - Het ontbijt trok op niks. Alle dagen dezelfde 2 sneetjes hesp en kaas en 2 sneetjes oud brood per dag. We moesten uit noodzaak telkens croque monsieur maken anders was het brood niet te eten. Geen variatie in confituur en de koffie was Nescafé. het ontbijt.

• Sophie (7/5): - L'emplacement à côté de la plage et proche du centre. Tout est facile à pied, c'est vraiment un plus et à ce prix. Le petit déjeuner est varié, chacun peut trouver son goût. Il faut extrêmement chaud dans la chambre. Je sais on est au Cap Vert, mais le ventilateur installé au plafond ne fait rien. Obligé d'ouvrir porte et fenêtre pour avoir un peu d'air le soir (on a fait d'autres logements avec ventilo et ça marchait bien). La douche est toute petite, très difficile de se tourner. La réceptionniste ne parle ni français, ni anglais, cela a été très difficile de nous faire comprendre. La chambre mériterai un petit rafraîchissement, on ne pouvait rien mettre dans l'armoire à cause de l'odeur.

• marion (7/5): - Bien situé juste à côté de la plage. La résidence se trouve à côté d’un immeuble en travaux ce qui est bruyant. Le restaurant de la résidence est actuellement en rénovation, nous n’avons pas eu le petit déjeuner sur place, il fallait se rendre dans un restaurant du centre ville. Nous étions 5, il faut bien demander un lit supplémentaire car le canapé lit n’est pas en bon état pour être un couchage. Propreté impeccable.

• David (6/5): It was ok. I was wing foiling and left my kit in storage at one of the beach clubs as it is too far to carry your kit. I - Staff were nice and room cleaned every day. It was further from the beach than expected and over looking construction sites. Rooms very basic but was ok as only sleeping there.

• Christian (7/5): Good - Breakfast was good, with sufficient choice, but more or less the same each day Before arriving, I tried many times to contact the hotel through the contact form on booking.com, and I never received an answer from their part !! The hotel has his own restaurant. Some rooms, like mine, were close to the restaurant and kitchen, which was causing a noisy environment at night.
• Robson (9/5): Superb - In most of the aspects the experience was great! Specially regarding the hospitality of the staff, always available when I needed. During my stay, I had an issue with the toilet flush in my accommodation, then I contacted them and they quickly moved me to another room with everything working perfectly
• Edwina (10/5): AMAZING IN EVERY WAY- Would HIGHLY recommend ANYONE to stay! - I loved everything about this place! The colour scheme - very relaxing, beautiful murals and paintings throughout, the extensive library and sitting out areas- both covered and uncovered, rope swings for chilling, dining area spectacular- a beautiful vibe to it, staff really friendly, helpful, generous and always go above and beyond ( it was a lovely touch that they put the ‘lion and unicorn’ bath towel out for me, knowing that it’s the same logo on my British passport! Spacious rooms with mini fridge, fan, bathroom, brilliant range of lights - main, side, task light Nothing- although really excited to hear that they have plans for a swimming pool on the premises- I’ll defo be back - with all my friends!

Breakfast included - what a touch! Towels folded in the shape of an elephant- a real welcome! Nothing!
• Doug (9/5): We travelled independently and felt safe and comfortable - Breakfast was simple but more than adequate excellent coffee, undercover tables and open air. In the evening restaurant served excellent meals with people arriving by taxi to eat there. Location of hotel ideally situated for both town and beach, just remember this is a traditional hotel not a vast resort hotel. Maybe better tea bag.

• Lucia (7/5): No luck with our room, but definitely a great place to stay - The manager, Vladimir. He did all he could to solve the issues we had with the apartment and more. First of all, overbooking. But we got our apartment. Second, check in at 3.30 am, he organised someone waiting for us. Third, no wifi in the apartment. It took 3 days (because of the lack of equipment and technicians) to solve it. Fourth, no gas bottle in the kitchen (gas shortage on the island) so impossible to cook or even just make tea (no kettle either). We bought a small electric stove and he reimbursed us the cost. Fifth, no cars available to rent, only very expensive tours or taxis, he found us a very good driver with a new car to tour the island (which is worth exploring). Sixth, we got very very stomach-sick on the last day, he allowed us to stay until very late in the evening for free with a very late check out. We highly appreciated. Basically, the whole structure relies on this super hero - Vladimir - who fights every day against local disfunctionalities to make customers happy. On the aparthotel: excellent location by the best beach of Sal Rei, the Main Street, and the restaurants/promenade area. Good and varied breakfast in a nice outdoor area. Clean. HUGE apartment. Mosquitos nets almost everywhere. Our apartment was a bit run down (most likely the worst one they never rent but they had to, as it was peak season), smelled of humidity and sewage, lacked the facilities we paid for (see above), but I would go back (asking for another room, of course! So AVOID the apartment N.206 in the nearby annex!) as the top location and the professionalism and care by the manager are an added value. No Wi-Fi and no gas in the kitchen although we chose this apartment for this reason. Sewage and humidity smell (as a rule, avoid ground floor apartments in Sal Rei, it was not the only place with this issue). Not much cooking equipment (but in any case there was no gas). No mosquito net on the main door (but there were everywhere else and in good conditions).
• Mike (6/5): Well located - Nice location right near the beach and a short walk to the main road with supermarkets and ATMs. Was very quiet. My room was very basic and was quite dark with very limited natural light. No Aircon just a fan and the breakfast very average.
• Kaja (9/5): Friendly. Close to all amenities like supermarket and cafes and also 50m from the beach. Strongly recommend. - Very friendly property. Management were very helpful for example checking on trips with the company for us and calling a taxi for us. The apartment was spacious. The cleaners were good and came daily. The restaurant called Cafe De Mar was fine and extremely busy in the evenings. Proximity to the beach excellent as well as bars, cafes, supermarket and town centre with the gelateria! There was no gas canister to fire up the cooker but the management arranged for us to have a kettle instead. We enjoyed making tea with our teabags from England.

• Christine (8/5): Very good - I had a spacious and airy room. I liked the layout of the hotel, the rooms were outside and had a separate courtyard area/ entry way depending on where your room was situated. Beach was close by on one side and on the other side, banks, restaurants, and the grocery store. Enjoyed breakfast outside every morning and dinner in the evenings. Calm and serene atmosphere. Would prefer a double bed rather than 2 singles pushed together. A mattress topper usually helps to stop the beds coming apart.

The bar/restaurant is a great place to meet other people staying there, it almost felt like a hostel with the added comfort of having a private room. Very clean. The staff are very friendly, especially Vladimir, the manager who speaks several languages. The wifi was not amazing. The bed was a bit too soft for my liking. . The bathroom is in need of some maintenance because the shower was leaking a bit.
