Guest Reviews
- John (10/5): Great location, clean and quiet. - The location was great. Everything from work to food and entertainment was within a short walking distance. The room was very clean and very quiet at night.
- dudley (10/5): - It was really cozy and cute. Location was perfect. A walk away from everything downtown. The water pressure and temperature was nice. Bed was comfy. It would've been nice if the candles in the fireplace had batteries and/or a remote to them.
- Cindy (8/5): Nice place for a short stay! - Liked the convenience. Easy to access. Didn’t find the portable air conditioner until the next morning; a heads up would be helpful. Need new shower liner ( mildew ).
- Stephen (10/5): I enjoyed my stay and would have liked my wife to have been with me. - Well designed. Cool vibe. Good job! Rain
- Elizabeth (8/5): Great little place within walking distance to downtown in this beautiful historic town! - The price and location….and the owner is a dentist in town an he was wonderful!! We enjoyed a glass of wine in the comfy chairs out in the front yard and the little garden was blooming. Perhaps a new queen size bed….. the bed now is a pull down Murphy bed…. So just possibly a new bed…. He wouldn’t have to spend a lot….doesn’t need a fancy head board… just push it against the wall.
- Jens (10/5): Cozy place in downtown Columbus - Nice historic house with charm
- Kayla (10/5): It was a welcoming location and a comfortable stay! - We loved how it was located in an area that was within walking distance of our friend's wedding and then reception. The studio was clean, welcoming, modern, and very comfortable. I enjoyed my morning cup of coffee from the Keurig machine. My husband used the iron for his pants, and it worked great! We also greatly appreciated the direct communication with the owner! N/A
- Deanna (9/5): The room is cute and easy for a quick trip. Affordable as well. - The room was super cute and cozy. The room was clean and stocked as well. There are coffee pods you can use, an air fryer and washer/dryer. We didn't need any of these accomodations, but it was nice to have on hand. The decor was super cute as well. The property is across from the library and there were some activity that was a little worrisome, but it didn't affect our stay.
- Steven (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Very charming and within walking distance of everything I needed to do. I had no problems with this property.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - The location is great! Easy check-in. Modern conveniences in an older building. Many thoughtful amenities including pods for the Keurig. That we only had one night!
- Lisa (9/5): Fantastic! We will be back! -
- Joyce (10/5): Would definitely stay again. - No breakfast at this location. I loved the clean room on an old city street with wonderful mature trees.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (10/5): Perfect for stay in Columbus. Only a block from Visitor's Center. Spotless, - Everything. Communication was via email, but very good, although we enjoy the B&B personal touch. Notebook of local attractions/ restaurants, rules very helpful. Location is great! Nothing to dislike.
(imo: Murphy bed should be provide with some sort of bolster to close large gap at head of bed.)
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Timm (10/5): Exceptional - Location and a.tmosphere. Area was charming
- Thomas (9/5): Ideal location for architecture tourists! - This studio was ideally located for architecture tourists -- literally a two-minute walk from the Columbus Visitors Center and close to all downtown attractions, including the bank, library, Eliel Saarinen church, etc. The studio itself was quiet, comfortable and well-furnished, and a binder of advice and tourist information was provided. We were delighted to be there! We were a little surprised that the on-site parking was actually street parking, although the street seemed very safe and quiet.
- Cynthia (10/5): It was wonderful and we recommend it highly! - The location was fantastic!!! Some reviewers had said they found the mattress too firm but it was perfect for us. A lovely place to stay in an amazing town. Nothing
- Colleen (10/5): Perfect after a long travel day! - The room was adorable! Bed very comfortable and the location was perfect. Next time we are in the area we will book again.
- Ken (10/5): Very comfortable, convenient spot in the center of Columbus. - Very well located in the center of Columbus next to the IM Pei designed library.
- Montgomery (9/5): Excellent! The bed slept superbly! - Close walk to restaurants. Local bluegrass band playing in front of library.
- Anita (10/5): Overall a very neat and well refurbished place - The location is very close and walkable to a nice downtown area All is very good
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Tiffany (10/5): Exceptional - Love the location Mattress could be updated
- Jose (9/5): Superb - Everything was as expected, clean, modern, private.
- Homer (8/5): Very good - Very convenient location to the Columbus Visitor Center and downtown restaurants. No control over temperature in the room.
- Patrick (10/5): If you prefer something quaint and unique over the standard hotel room, highly recommend. - If you enjoy something unique, this historical building has loads of character. It's situated downtown but in a lovely quiet neighborhood amid an eclectic mix of other historic buildings, bungalows, cottages and stately homes. To complain about anything expecially at the price would be unfair.
- Anderson (8/5): Very good -
- Taylor (10/5): Exceptional - Very modern and clean! The bed was a bit firm for our taste
