- Catherine Eus (8/5): -
- Labatte (8/5): - Andrew our host was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great, but from your website I thought it was included. The beds were very comfortable and the suite was clean. Location was excellent; easy walk to downtown. Parking was free and convenient. Woullikely book again. As stated breakfast was not included. Was not sure from website. Also it was not clear from the website which of the 2 places we were in. I realize now that I have been there that the 2 buildings are identical from the outside, so it is a little confusing. My friend felt that B and B experience might not be her thing as she does not want conversation with a stranger or strangers while she is eating, sk the next daywd went our..

- Meredith (7/5): -
- Ann (8/5): - The place is clean and the owner is very nice. The stay would be much better if the entrance and lobby area were more welcoming. Also, the cleaning products they use leave behind a very strong smell. The AC unit in our room was very noisy.
- Karen (10/5): -
- Maxine (10/5): - Andrew Pang and his wife are gracious, friendly and helpful hosts. Their breakfasts were delicious. The beds were very comfortable for my back and my arthritis.
- Laurette (8/5): Nice, clean room but too many stairs - Location to festival was great. Within walking distance Didn't like the fact that there were three flights of stairs to get to our suite.
- Timothy (10/5): - We cannot say enough about this great Inn. Taking a chance, we booked a suite to enjoy four days of theatre at Stratford. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the hosts and their charming Inn. We will definitely reserve again for next years’ festival.
- Mel (4/5): It was ok.overpriced for what it is - Clean and good location with space Tacky. Not modern.
- Sally (8/5): A comfortable experience thanks to the thoughtful, generous hosts. - The owners! Lovely, helpful people. The Premium Suite with kitchen, living room, King bed in bedroom, big balcony, cleanliness and thoughtfulness of the facilities, good WiFi, short walk to Stratford centre and the Festival theatres. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Highly recommended. N/A
- Kim (10/5): - Went on a birthday getaway with my best friend. The accommodation with 2 single beds worked really well for us. Breakfast was filling and the owners was very welcoming. We were able to walk to the theatre and all the restaurants we wanted to eat at.
- Michael (10/5): - This bed and breakfast has a great location to downtown shopping and dining. It is also possible to walk to all of Stratford Festival theaters. It is run by a family and they are very gracious and attentive. We did not do the breakfast option they offered, since there are many restaurants within walking distance. They do offer coffee and tea at no cost, which was nice.
- Adrian (8/5): Nice layout. Very clean and quiet. -
- Margo (8/5): Very good -
- Howard (8/5): Stratford Theatres - Wonderful location for theatre goers. Hosts very nice and great breakfast.
- Sherrie (8/5): Very good - The location was excellent. Short walk to downtown and the Avon theater and also a short walk to the Festival Theater. There should be a full length mirror in the unit. There is a full length mirror in the main hallway though.
- Natasha (10/5): - We stayed only a night but it was comfortable and we had a great sleep.
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Kori (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aubrey (8/5): Very good -
- Moira (3/5): The twin-bed suite was disappointing - The location is perfect: a ten-minute walk from the city centre, great restaurants, and the Festival, Avon and Patterson theatres. The AC was effective. The bathroom is bright and modern. The kitchenette is adequate for basic refrigeration, microwaving and washing-up tasks. The ground-floor twin-bed suite where I stayed is dark: the bedroom's main window looks onto a brick wall. I had hoped that this and the rear-of-the-building location might at least guarantee a quiet stay, but I heard hammering and drilling from within the house before 9 a.m. on both mornings, as well as traffic from the main street. The room was clean but the furnishings are somewhat crowded, stained and rather shabby-looking. The porch with the advertised 'garden view' overlooks the parking lot. Other units in the building may offer a better value, but this one is definitely overpriced.
- Zahra (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - It was just like advertised
- Rosemary (8/5): Very good -
- Melanie (8/5): Beautiful, Convenient, and Comfortable - Beautifully updated and had everything we needed. Wonderful that it was within walking distance of theatres and restaurants. Friendly owners too.
- jill (10/5): - Easy walk to theaters and restaurants
- Margaret (9/5): Lovely accommodations, convenient location. - The location was perfect, as we wanted to walk and leave the car parked. The room was very comfortable and we were able to control room temperatures. It was a nice surprise to find half and half in the refrigerator and the coffee was very good. There were no instructions for using the TV. We had difficulty finding networks and could not figure out how to use our Netflix app. The stairs are getting more difficult for us, so handling our bags was cumbersome.
- Tal (7/5): The location is great. The place is outdated but comfortable hence over priced - We liked the location. Few minutes walk to the theater and to the center of the city. It wasn’t very clean ( hair in the bathroom) and there was a heavy smell in the room (we opened the window and the smell stayed).
- James (6/5): Disappointing - Owners very affable No breakfast offered except for an extra amount and for the price there should have been
- Anonymous (3/5): Disappointing - Location Three of us and only two twin beds. We were given a mattress to put on floor for the third person. If we wanted breakfast, there was an additional fee.
- George (10/5): This is a very nice place to stay when visiting Stratford. - My second stay. Owned by a very nice couple and within walking distance of all the theaters and restaurant. No suggestions.
- Aly (8/5): - Very comfortable and clean. Surprised there was no breakfast included.
- Diane (9/5): Loved it - The food was fantastic Too many stairs to my room
- Judith (10/5): - We stayed in the suites house Next Door. Loved the extra space and kitchen. Comfortable king bed. Owners on site and lovely people
- John (8/5): Great location - This was a perfect location for anyone visiting Stratford for the summer festival. All locations were within walking distance as well as multiple restaurants. The room had a small fridge, microwave, electric teapot and coffee maker. We ate all breakfasts in the room before beginning our day's activities.
- Max (10/5): - The Inn's location is perfect....a short walk to the downtown core but far enough from the busy traffic and noise from tourists.
We stayed in The King's Suite. Modern and updated suite with large king-sized bed. Three-piece washroom, kitchenette and living room. Small Juliette balcony overlooking parking lot. Very quiet room. Perfect! The owners are very welcoming and courteous. Will return in early Autumn.
- Shahe (8/5): - Landlord was very helpful.
- Anke (9/5): Great weekend get-away - The Inn is very close to downtown and so it was easy to walk everywhere. Clean, quiet room. Very good breakfast; nice staff.
- Brian (8/5): - Great place to stay in Stratford. Convenient to theaters and dining.
- Connie (10/5): - It is a great place to stay. We were in the annex. It had everything we needed. It was very close to downtown and all the theaters.
- Diane (9/5): Superb -
- Rusay (8/5): Very good - Location, size of suite and balcony A musty smell in foyer
- Gemofanm (10/5): Beautiful property, accommodating hosts and excellent location. - Beautiful property, accommodating hosts and excellent location.
- Amanda (8/5): - Lovely hosts for an overnight stay. Walking distance to theatres.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicholas (9/5): very friendly folks. -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lise (9/5): Superb - Beautiful older home, nicely renovated with lots of character. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable
Hosts were very nice and accommodating. We will definitely go back. Everything was perfect.
- Serita (8/5): : Quaint place with friendly owners. The sofas were very comfy, - It was all around an easy and good expirence, the facilities were clean and spotless. Nothing in particular
- Karen (6/5): - We were disappointed with the Roku TV. There was no TV in the bedroom, therefore we could not lie down and relax while watching a movie.
There was no breakfast offered at this “Inn” even though the description said breakfast was available!!!
- Randy (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (9/5): Superb - Great location and friendly owner.
- Stuart (5/5): Passable -
- Nanci (5/5): it was beautiful - clean nice the amount of room , and we booked it BED AND BREAKFAST AND assumed we would have breakfast and they said not after Nov 1 , this should be in the ad . it’s the only reason my husband booked it !!
- 加拿大留学移民专家 (8/5): Very good -
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good -
- Lucinda (4/5): Disappointing overnight - location it smelled. from the moment we walked in the exterior door the unmistakable odor of mildew/mold permitted the house…... Surprising because the property was generaly clean. Both of the owners were in the unit and I’m sure had to be aware of the odor.
there were a couple other minor issues with the deluxe unit but the smell outdistanced the other issues. We will not be going back.
- Nisha (4/5): Disappointing space, not worth the money, expensive for a less than adequate space in Stratford.... - We want to ensure this is a balanced, fair rating. We liked the location in terms of proximity to the ‘core’ of Stratford, we were able to walk to all theatres, restaurants, shopping which was great. We liked having a small ‘pod’ style coffee maker and coffee pods in the room and having a small fridge with a carton of cream was a nice touch. The space was clean and the host was friendly when we checked in. Free parking at the back was also nice. The bathroom, sink area and shower were nicely done. Try a different garbage bin in the bathroom...the cheap, plastic one used in a kitchen under a sink doesn't suit the nicely renovated bathroom. The picture of the property is also a little deceptive....looks like one larger ‘inn’...small thing, but important when people are booking from far away. We booked a king sized room with a balcony, it was supposed to accommodate three adults. We were taken to the front lower level ‘suite’ at the ‘inn next door’ that had no balcony and only had one king size bed. The living room area has no pullout couch or extra bed which we were expecting. When we asked about this the host who had already launched into a speech was about how the space was renovated, etc. then advised us that the dual fake leather reclining chair could be beds for “children 12 and under”. This is a chair that Chandler and Joey from the show Friends spent time in back in the 90’s... We were not travelling with our children this trip but we were expecting our 87 year old father to join us ( third adult). When asked where the space to sleep was for a third adult, the host then said he would bring the ‘bed’ in. It ended up being a child/youth sized foam mattress he suggested we put on the floor in the living room. Thankfully our Dad didn't end up coming, but if he had we would have been put in the position to complain and demand a more suitable space or our money back. The space ( except the bathroom) is comprised of a variety of salvaged items from garage sales and kijiji/marketplace. Nothing matches, there is too much furniture in the living room, artwork frames are gold laminated, mismatched, too high on walls, there is a bench with mirrors from a shoe store in the bedroom, no colour coordination, different curtains in different windows, etc. We have travelled to many places and don’t expect a room designed by an art gallery curator but this was really something....Bedding needs to include thicker duvets...the thin, flowery, covers provided are cheap and don’t offer anything close to warm or cozy. The king bed is very very soft...we are fit 50 year olds and our backs were sore. The space is on the main road, very noisy at night..
Owner must change algorithms to properly reflect numbers.
- Jan (10/5): We would definitely stay here again - Great location, comfortable accommodations, helpful and charming hosts!
- Rupert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emily (10/5): loved it and will stay again! - lovely staff, convenient location very clean. nothing it ticked all the boxes
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Gavinbtoronto (7/5): Pleasant, comfortable. - Location was wonderful - a 7 min walk from City Hall. The inn is a large house outfitted with with antique/period trimmings and a somewhat eclectic mix of furniture. We had a premium suite. Andrew was a friendly and helpful host. I got billed $259, but my Booking.com booking shows that the final price should be $227 taxes included. Maybe this is a Booking.com error so some follow up is needed.
- Marilyn (8/5): - Pleasant host. Bathroom less clean than my standard. Convenient location. Easy parking. TV impossible to use.
- Carman (8/5): Very good -
- Russo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gemma (1/5): Avoid this accommodation at all costs. This is a genuine review of our experience here. - We did not like anything, the only thing going for this place is the location and parking. This place was not clean, everything was dirty from kitchen, utensils, breadcrumbs still in toaster, around shower filthy, glass on windows, floor and even the doors had dirt- they looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned for years. The uncleanliness of the place was so bad we could not stay a second night. We didn’t have breakfast as would not be comfortable taking a breakfast in a place like this. Owner did not listen to our complaints. They honestly did not realize how bad it was.
- Chimento (10/5): Very nice for the price. - Owners were very nice. Location is within walking distance of the theaters. No problems at all.
- Janet (8/5): Very comfortable, lots of room in the apartment-like suite…great for two adults…or with kids - Great owners. Great breakfast. Super location. Very, very clean. Owners very accommodating and so friendly. Third bed not as advertized. Book in room said breakfast at 8:30 but registration says 9:00am so we were 1/2 hr late to breakfast.
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (5/5): Passable -
- Margot (8/5): Hosts who do their very best! - Such kind people! They did everything to make our visit perfect. Despite being right on Ontario Street, we found room quiet. It was also comfortable, with our own kitchen and bathroom. There was no need for the kitchen -- the hosts did everything they could to accommodate my diet restrictions. Temperature controls weren't intuitive.
- Ronald (10/5): A wonderful stay in Stratford! - Breakfast was delicious and you can't beat the location. The owners are warm and friendly hosts. It was good to be back again.
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Elena (10/5): - very caring and helpful owners
- Susan (9/5): I thought this was an excellent value. - the location was central to the theaters and the restaurants / stores. it was spacious and included more amenities than I expected. Our room faced Ontario Street, so it was noisy if you kept the terrace doors open. The room comes with a kitchen sink, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, silverware, coffee machine, knives and dishes. It didn’t have a dish drainer, which was really the only thing missing.
- Heather (8/5): - Very handy to many amenities.
- Ann (9/5): Superb -
- Graham (10/5): - Great place to stay for a theatre visit and very welcoming hosts
- Charlotte (10/5): - I had my own private porch to sit, read have a drink, looking at a lovely backyard
- Aaron (8/5): - Very pleasant hosts. Would stay there again especially because it is so close to the theatres
- Bernard (10/5): - The owner-operator was friendly and helpful and the rental was spacious and clean. From this location it is an easy walk to each of the four playhouses, dining (both casual and formal) which was the main reason for us going. I will try and book here again when we go back to Stratford.
- Andrea (6/5): - The room was great and all was walkable and easily accessible. I would have thought that booking a B&B meant that breakfast was included. I wasn't aware that it wasn't part of my stay based on booking a certain suite. That would have been nice to know in advance of booking.
- Peter (10/5): very service oriented. they want you to be comfortable during your stay. owner’s are at your service. we liked it. good -
- Jane (8/5): Great stay. - Perfect location. Living room sleeping alternative not appropriate. Pull out bed did not meet sleeping standards.
- Cheryl (10/5): - The owners were very friendly and obliging. Very convenient to Patterson theatre and Avon River. Suites very clean.
- Wayne (8/5): - Very cozy little apartment. Very tidy and well maintained.
- Wayne (8/5): - Easy check in Walking distance to downtown area spacious room
- Verified traveler (10/5): Will be back - Solo female traveled there alone. Felt very safe. Stayed in King Suite. Bed was amazing and place was beautiful. Easy walk to dinner etc. Will be back.
- Thomas (8/5): - The location is excellent and the hosts are very accomadating.
The premises are very god. The only downside is the complicated TV.
- Leslie (10/5): Great location in Stratford - Clean and quiet place. Comfortable bed and a nice balcony to enjoy a glass of wine. A short walk to the downtown and the various theatres in Stratford.
- Oliver (8/5): Beautiful inn. - Our experience was as expected. Very comfortable bed.
Heating was controlled within room to our comfort. Quiet.
Nicely furnished. Would stay again. Excellent location to downtown and theaters.
- James (10/5): - Clean and beautiful place to stay. Only minutes to downtown. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was really hard to find the driveway for the property. It is on a very busy road so sitting on the patio is quite noisy with traffic. The patio was nice though.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely spot. Friendly owner. Very clean and well set up
- Ambassador'sInn (10/5): - There host's helpfulness with my bag, there were outside steps to be negotiated and she carried it up for me. I have a bad knee so it wasahuge help.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Charming suite, roomy, homy and clean. Walking distance to downtown and to Festival Theatre.
