- Alan (10/5): - Friendly

- Steve (9/5): - Friendly, pretty comfy and traditional, excellent home-cooked food - a good menu choice for dinner and plenty of breakfast options - and a popular bar in the evening. A 10 minute walk to the station. The room looked like it had been recently refurbished, with a new modern bathroom. . Nothing negative, would stay again
- Amanda (10/5): Perfect hosts who serve great food. I would definitely return. Thank you Edna for making me laugh 😂 sending our best reg - The owner and the staff were simply lovely. The lady who served breakfast was very polite (sorry I’ve forgotten your name) and Edna behind the bar was fun and very knowledgeable about the area. It was so lovely of the owner to come and say hello to us and he even followed us to the car to say goodbye, which I thought was very personal and thoughtful. The food was amazing too!
- Geraldine (8/5): Recommend to anyone visiting the location - Location was great and the property was very clean and comfortable N/A

- Louise (10/5): A very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Tulley’s Hotel. - The hotel had a lovely welcoming feel. The staff were very kind and helpful and nothing felt too much.
The room was warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! We had the full Irish on both days.
We found the hotel easy to locate with free parking.
We really enjoyed our stay at Tulley’s hotel and we have already recommended it to family and will stay there again when we are next in the area!
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing!

- mary (10/5): - I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Tully's Hotel. This is a hidden gem. It is very rare to find a family run hotel with authenticity and warmth nowadays. It felt like stepping back in time. The hotel felt warm and cozy upon arrival. Many hotel chains nowadays feel impersonal and clinical. It was nice to be greeted by a family member of what appears to be a family run hotel. Despite having a small overnight bag, they offered to carry it to the room.
The room was spotless and very confortable. For breakfast, I was greeted by another family member who was very warm and personable. Again, this level of personal hospitality is rarely felt in most hotels nowadays. I would highly recommend this hotel. I managed to get parking right outside the front door, which was totally hassle free. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.
- Brendan (9/5): very refreshing. - A lovely hotel. The proprietor, Mr Tully, pays personal attention to make sure all of his guests are well cared for. The food was very good.
- Jørgen (7/5): - Location fine Breakfast first started at 8 am. I left the hotel 7.30, so my breakfast was on a petrol station
Wifi were only time to time good in the room. To get proper access I need to go to reception area
- Gerry (9/5): A very easy place to stay in. - Stayed in Tully's three times over the last six months for personal reasons. Well used to the hotel, its facilities and the staff. And for me, the location is spot on. The wifi.
- Andrew (9/5): Lovely staff and excellent breakfast. - Comfortable room
Good location
Excellent breakfast
Lovely staff Can't think of anything
- Avril (10/5): Lovely stay - Clean, quiet, friendly staff All very good
- Sinead (10/5): -
- Maria (6/5): Over priced and not 3 star standard - Staff were lovely and room was warm, breakfast was good. No WiFi in room, more attention needs to be paid to cleaning as coffee drips on locker, peeling paint in bathroom
- Gerry (8/5): I will be staying in Tully's again, that is for sure. - Breakfast very good.
Location perfect for my needs.
Staff were very helpful in getting me wreaths for my dad's grave. Towels could have been newer and bigger.
- Kevin (10/5): Tully's is treasure! - The location was perfect. The room was spacious and excellent. The kettle, with tea/coffee/milk, was an unexpected bonus. The bathroom was palatial. The breakfast was top-class. The staff were wonderfully helpful. The manager gave me a lift to the train station. Thank you, again. There was Wifi on the ground floor but, sadly, not in my room.
- Administrator (3/5): The rooms need major renovation - We only arrived late at night and we were gone by 6 so didnt get a chance to have breakfast or dinner Shower didnt work properly water hitting the ceiling and the shower door was broken

- Gerry (9/5): - I have stayed here before and will do so again. I have to visit the area in occasion and Tully's is ideal for me.
All the staff are very welcoming, room nice and warm as was the shower. The Wi Fi could be better.
- Wesley (7/5): Lovely staff. Room was what I expected for the price but with a few small changes could be better. - The staff were very nice and the breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and bathroom was large and had obviously recently been done up and was well presented. The bathroom floor was sticky and the towels were small and not great quality. There was a large stain on one of my towels. It had been washed but the stain which was either fake tan or make up had not come out. It was off putting to be provided with a towel with a big stain on it.
The furnishings in the rooms are really old fashioned.
- FRANKIE (3/5): -
- Cribbin (8/5): - Room nice and clean Bar could do with an upgrade
- bergin (9/5): -
- Patrick (6/5): Generally comfortable, a typical 3 star town hotel in Rural Ireand town. - Expensive for what was offered. Bar closed very early. When I returned from dinner the var was closed at approx. 9.15pm not good value for the price given the facilities
- Paul (3/5): - The open gas heater in the bar was like something from the 1970s Its a dump and €200 a night
- Caitriona (10/5): - Cheap with breakfast included in the price
- Michael (9/5): -
- John (8/5): Friendly helpful staff, Easy to find central location with plenty of parking available. - All the staff we dealt with were so friendly and helpful. Always had a smile. Very rare these days. There was nothing we could fault about the hotel.
- Rebecca (8/5): - Really warm, cosy and clean beds, perfect for autumn. Staff were helpful and friendly.
- ella (4/5): -
- Conor (8/5): -
- Mary (10/5): - Good location and good breakfast.
- Roberts (6/5): You can do better - Staff were wonderful and the food was great The beds were sunken in the middle. Towels were covered in stains , and the restaurant floor was very dirty.
- Pedro Nicolau (6/5): - The hotel is good and the staff are nice. It was close the city I wanted to go and price was ok. I messaged them before via Booking.com and email to adapt my room from 2 to 1 person, and they never replied. During check-in they told me they could do some kind of refund since it was only me, but never did, and I have not heard back from them.
- Gergely (7/5): - breakfast, friendly staff cleanliness could be improved, only one set of towels for 2 people, they didn't bring the 2nd one when asked
- Fahy (9/5): -
- Selena (1/5): - Extremely dirty & outdated rooms. Exposed & tattered divan bases, very old, uncomfortable shallow spring mattress. Unpackaged/ exposed tea bags provided in room. Filthy kettle. No lift to rooms. Horrendously soiled/ damaged carpets & a heavy musty smell throughout the property. No heating/ hot water. 1 single plug socket in room. Can hear clear conversations from other rooms & public toilets hand dryers. Rust on bathroom floor tiles. Heavy iron gate banging all night outside room window. Bar man clearly had better places to be. No WiFi password provided. No phone in room. No menu/ information booklet in room. Staff should also be aware dining room is uncomfortably quiet so conversations in the attached kitchen are easily heard.
- Nicholas (2/5): Staff and food great, bedroom awlful, definitely not value for money - Staff were fantastic and helpful. The food was amazing The bedroom was far below expectations. The wi-fi in bedroom was dreadful, no TV signal continually buffing. The bed was far past it's use by date and mattress was very poor, really uncomfortable and spent most of night trying not to keep rolling into the middle of the bed. Shower was ok but towels were old and hard
Definitely not worth the money charged no value for money
- Caroline (9/5): - Wonderful staff. Friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was amazing and room was spotless and comfortable TV channels didn't work.
- Niall (9/5): - Thanks to the Manager/Staff who allowed me to bring my bicycle into the Dining Room overnight !
- Sean Michael (4/5): Short stay - The staff were very friendly
Room was clean Breakfast table was sticky and had crumbs
The rooms are very old and need updating
The function room was directly under my room and it was noisy. I was not informed of the function on arrival.
There were 4 cups on the breakfast table but only 2 saucers
- Sadie (8/5): -
- Mary (10/5): -
- Marcella (6/5): - Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely Room and toilet was not as modern as shown in the photos. Overpriced and falsely advertised
- Martin (10/5): Lovely staff made you feel at home. - Staff were so friendly, they made the stay and the breakfast amazing nothing
- Martina (1/5): A Nightmare - Nothing How unclean and run down it was holes in walls and ceilings in toilet musty smell in hallways carpets and floors uneven and trip hazard the beds and furniture where something out of the 60s and in bad condition. At check-in they had no record of our booking even though we had been charged a week ahead of time for a totally over priced stay poor girl at check-in had no idea or experience to handle check in . Reception never had any personal there to handle any enquiries or problems. There stay there again a nightmare of a stay totally unpleasant stay

- Eddie (10/5): - Very clean, friendly staff great breakfast good value
- Justin Duffy (8/5): - Good location
Very comfy bed
Hearty breakfast
Staff are a pleasure to deal with.
- Shane (10/5): Clean and tidy rooms. Delicious food. Friendly staff. - Fantastic breakfast, large room, and spacious bathroom. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. People in town are friendly too and very much the Irish experience I was hoping for and expecting. The town hasn't gone the way as some nearby larger towns in that it still has that innocent, rural, Irish vibe, but there a few vacant shops fronts spread across Main Street that aren't particularly flattering and not representative of it's past.
- Phyllis (8/5): Nice local Irish pub/hotel on Castlerea High street. - Walking into an Irish pub/ hotel and getting a lovely welcome.
Room 10. Comfy bed. Large room. Large bathroom.
The staff. The hospitality. Eddie was so good to us.
A decent breakfast timetable. 'served till 12'!
Carpark right across the road
Being on the high street with access to shops (to buy the stuff we'd forgotten). Ok, so my room didn't have a great view. But it didn't matter to me.
- John (9/5): - Staff were excellent and the food was great and good value. Nothing it’s lovely, very Irish exactly what we wanted.
- Jennifer (2/5): Breakfast room everything bad scary staff member walks into room without knocking - Nothing Everything
- Sinéad (1/5): Smelly room, poor fixtures, outdated room and bathroom, carpet was wet. Staff were nice. - Staff were nice and did their best given the absolute state of the hotel they were representing. Food is good also, we stayed for dinner which was lovely and breakfast is made to order and was nice. The room… could barely open the door as the floorboards had expanded and you had to push to get in. The odour that met us on entering was very distinct and did not ease up for the entirety of our stay… even with the airwicks they left to try and mask it. There was a massive wet patch of carpet where my partner laid his shoes only to pick them up and find they were saturated. There was a considerable amount of mould in the bathroom, the gunk in the sink made me gag as I brushed my teeth. Decor is very old and dated. The ‘vanity unit’ was made of MDF and was falling away from the wall… as were other fixtures and fittings, including sockets which I felt was quite dangerous. Room was priced at €215 and was not worth the price in any way imaginable. Again I can’t stress the odour! And I cannot believe they rent out this room.

- Michael (9/5): This hotel can give a fresh breakfast, not like the big chain hotels with their disgusting buffet’s - The food was outstanding and the breakfast was delicious with no buffet All good
- Gordon (10/5): There was a wonderful warm greeting with a great service provided -
- Joanne (7/5): Friendly staff.. Owner very nice... only negative was is was cold... and no Porter on a night - Friendly staff... No heating and no Porter on at night
- sean (5/5): - A nice town No air-conditioning as stated on booking dot com
- Laborde (9/5): -
- Darren (4/5): - Definitely overpriced compared to other and better hotels we have stayed at in Ireland . We were very disappointed. When we arrived the toilet and bathroom hadn't even been cleaned.
- Andrew (8/5): - I had a comfortable 3 night stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was newly refurbished, clean and much bigger than expected. Breakfast was a full Irish. Wifi was poor. However I had unlimited data (reception was good) so this did not bother me.
- tomas (10/5): -
- Sean (10/5): -
- Joanna (7/5): Very pleasant stay. - Good Not enough vegetarian options
- Caroline (10/5): Wonderful Stay - Lovely stay as always. Quiet and spotlessly clean room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Wonderful staff who really can't do enough for you. They are all very friendly and really attentive. There's plenty of free parking and a beautiful, huge park right across the road.
- Steve (9/5): Perfect Irish hospitality in the middle of town - Perfect location in the middle of the main high street opposite parking. The staff were extremely friendly, full Irish hospitality. The bar had locals, all welcoming and Irish breakfast to boot! The hotel has character and history, it has an old historic feel, and that is part of the charm.
- Lynn (10/5): Warm and welcoming - I had a full Irish breakfast and it was delicious, staff are so friendly and very helpful, would highly recommend 😊
- Patrick (7/5): -
- Martin (8/5): - Nice Staff!

- chloe (10/5): -
- Deirdre (10/5): -
- Rosemary (4/5): Adequate for one night - Breakfast was good Comfort of beds
- Denis (5/5): Horrific - Location The residents, I thought was a lunatic asylum I was after entering, never again.
- John (4/5): -
- Cormac (6/5): -
- Bernadette (10/5): Lovely short break - Lovely hotel Nothing
- Yvonne (8/5): -
- Louise (10/5): Charming, comfortable and value with that Irish hospitality that I haven’t experienced in a long time. - My first visit to Roscommon as a Kerry woman was an absolute pleasure. We stayed 2 nights at Tully’s Hotel in Castlerea town. The hotel is so cosy and clean, with old world charm and the staff went out of their way to make me porridge that wasn’t even on the menu with honey and fruit- these are the extra touches that I appreciate and why I am in such high praise of the hotel staff. Actually everyone in the town had a friendly greeting.
I never slept in a more comfortable bed. It was so quiet, that I never heard a car and would not have known we were in a town. There was a tv, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, an absolutely spotless en-suite and bedroom. We were there to walk the Lough O’Flynn bog loop and found the walk directly opposite the hotel in the Castlerea Demense even nicer than the bog walk. It is so picturesque. There is also free parking in the Square, a playground and swimming pool all directly across the road from the hotel which would ideally suit families. The barfood menu choices were vast and there was always a steady flow of people adding to the atmosphere. It was incredibly open all day for food. It’s the sort of bar where you’ll be welcomed into the conversation, if you feel like a chat, be it about football, world affairs or horses, all topics the knowledgeable owner and barman Paul is very keen on. A barman on the second night we stayed deserves massive credit too, keeping my husband entertained at the bar with his wit and endearing conversation. I would highly recommend this family owned hotel to anyone who appreciates a caring, friendly personal touch, great food and value. Hotels like this one deserve support. I was totally charmed. Due to the recent storm, the town still hasn’t WiFi but this is not the hotel’s fault. The receptionist kindly tried to get it working for me on my phone.
