Really appreciated the herbal tea! Nothing! It is a really gorgeous place to stay! Ideal location, incredibly friendly and warm staff who go above and beyond. Modern facilities, comfortable beds, it's all fab!

The room was small (but we chose that one) but clean and updated. Very good condition. The bed was comfortable, they had phone charging stations. The bathroom supplies were Canadian and good quality. The breakfast was amazing for continental. Fresh boiled eggs, fresh muffins. Everything you need for a good breakfast. (And we don’t usually eat continental) and again the breakfast/morning staff. Parking was fairly convenient finding spots around the corner on the higher streets. Lot parking wasn't too expensive - $6 for 36hrs (there was a car show one day so street parking was limited). Really enjoyed their toiletries. My friend ended up purchasing the hand lotion and soap as a gift. Bathroom could use more hooks. Rolling the towels back into the towel rack didn't allow for them to dry so we hung our towels on the coat rack by the front door.

There is a games /party room for guests that can cater to alllll kinds of needs The only problem is the lack of parking but there are places not far for your vehicle and paid parking out front

Andrew (9/5): Great little refurbished, boutique hotel in a fantastic location, but be prepared for a small room - This refurbished, old fashioned hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms are very modern, with funky black fixtures etc and very clean. The staff was excellent with good outreach in advance to make sure checkin went smoothly. Best of all is the location, right in downtown Nelson which is gorgeous - and has lots of independent little shops and boutiques and funky little restaurants and coffee shops. The room was smaller than I expected, like, no room for desk or extra chair kind of small. Not a bad thing for me as I didn't plan to spend much time in the room but if you are a business traveler expecting a desk etc ... you will be on the bed with your laptop literally being a laptop.

We were there over thanksgiving so parking outside on the meters was free. Not sure how it would have worked otherwise. As usual, I find with most hotels, shower head designed for men only. I.e. No doucher.

The place was very clean, towels were new and toiletries were wonderful. The staff were attentive and professional. We didn’t realize the breakfast was included so this was nice and I was happy that the hotel doesn’t use paper plates. Parking! No disposable utensils or cups at all.

Donna (9/5): A clean and comfortable stay in the heart of Nelson BC. - The beds were very comfortable and the room's temperature was easy to control. It was quiet and clean. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast bar which had many healthy choices. I was pleased to see reusable dishes used instead of having to throw away plastic and paper. The bamboo towels were not very absorbent. An electric kettle in the room or even in the lobby would have been nice for making tea in the evening. The room was a bit pricey for a Wednesday in September.
