• Ruth (9/5): Lovely little bungalow rooms between the jungle and a beautiful beach that looks like paradise. - It was the perfect location, on the quiet end of the picture perfect beach but within easy walking distance to other restaurants and busier areas. The rooms were comfortable, the food good and the staff were lovely - they tried so hard to make everything relaxing and memorable. Not much!! Maybe a little more expensive than neighbouring restaurants, but that’s being picky!

• Dr. Ahn (1/5): AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Nightmarish, deceptive, unhygienic, unprofessional, and incompetent. Disgusting! - Leaving.... The hotel’s response is entirely false and demonstrates gross negligence, with no attempt at real customer support, there are no redeeming qualities in how this was handled. ***To the Hotel, your response says more about your standards than my review does. The hotel’s online listing is nothing short of deceptive, and our experience was nothing short of nightmarish. The arrival alone set the tone; the dock was alarmingly narrow and unstable, utterly unsuitable for older guests and families with young children. I injured my knee disembarking, and this was before even stepping inside the property. The bathroom was dangerously slippery, poorly designed, and unsafe, hardly conducive to relaxation or basic hygiene. There is no room service whatsoever, and the hotel is entirely unequipped to accommodate guests after 10 PM.... not even for something as simple as WATER TO DRINK or a snack in an emergency. When I went to the lobby to ask for assistance, I found the only visible employee asleep on a cot behind the desk. The pool area managed to further disappoint. For several days, the loungers were bare, with no cushions provided until I personally complained to the manager. When my family finally used the pool, the chemical levels were so overdone that the water literally burned our skin. Weeks later, my six-year-old is still recovering from the rash caused by it. This isn’t hospitality, it’s carelessness disguised as a resort. Upon departure, we were informed that our return trip to the mainland would be aboard the same large speedboat that had brought us to the island. That was not the case. The boat that eventually arrived was late, significantly smaller, and overcrowded. To make matters worse, there were no visible life vests or accessible safety equipment. Traveling with a child, I felt deeply uneasy as there were no safety instructions given, no briefings, and no reassurance of any kind. The crew’s indifference continued upon arrival, as they offered no assistance with luggage while passengers struggled to disembark. The entire transfer felt chaotic, unsafe, and utterly unprofessional for a property that claims to offer comfort and care.

• ALEXANDER (8/5): - Отель расположен на самом людном пляже Ко Ронга, и в то же время в самом конце этого пляжа. С одной стороны, все магазины и рестораны острова - в пешей доступности. С другой стороны, у отеля отдельная территория, через которую не ходят посторонние люди. Если бы не песчаные мухи, наше пребывание в этом отеле было бы намного приятнее. Вообще не рекомендую пользоваться лежаками на пляже. В остальном, номера в отеле далеко не новые и изрядно убитые. В закрытый номер не только залетают комары (а их там хватает), но и легко проникают герконы. Сервис по уборке номеров считаю далеко не худшим на острове - если оставить на двери табличку с просьбой убрать номер, его обязательно уберут. Но в целом, удачное расположение отеля перекрывает все его недочеты)

Overall a nice experience. The rooms are a little tired. The bed is quite hard. The conditioner in our room was leaking. We didn't see monkeys :(

BBQ tres sympa le soir. Bien situé, à 10 minutes à pied le long de la plage de longset jetty L'arrivée en tuc tuc si vous débarquez par long set (et pas directement sur la jetée de l'hôtel) est un peu perturbante, mais tout va bien, on se retrouve bien au final dans un superbe resort

• Darrynvh9 (9/5): Relaxing island stay - An incredible location at the end of a busy beach. Lovely for long walks and swimming! The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and with a nice bit of variety each day, which kept things interesting over our stay. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. Another positive was the speedboat drop off/pick up directly form the resort's pier - made things super easy. A great stay overall, especially if you’re looking for that relaxed island feel! The rooms would benefit from some general maintenance. Hot water was a consistent issue during our stay. The heater is very small and didn’t seem to function properly, so showers were often short and not always comfortable. We also found the food and beverages on-site to be quite overpriced, especially once additional taxes and service charges were added. Considering that a short walk into the centre offers a variety of delicious options at nearly half the price, they should consider being a bit more competitive as many people simply chose to eat elsewhere. Considering the price you pay, this resort could so a bit more with the general facade, upkeep, and small things such as hot water. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it!

In einem der alten Häuser (es gibt auch neue) hatten wir Probleme mit dem Safe, mit der nicht gut schließenden Eingangstür und einigen ungebetenen Gästen im Zimmer, u.a. eine Maus oder Ratte.

The breathtaking views of the ocean from the hillside location made every sunrise and sunset truly memorable. • John (9/5): Perfect sand and a quiet place on a busy beach. - Almost toes in the sand with sea view rooms… and at the far end of the beach so no noise from late bars… also catches the sun longer in the evening so great sunset views. And if you ask for the resort pier you get dropped off on the doorstep Things that bite! Take repellant and anti-histamine…

• Enikő (4/5): A személyzet menti a menthetőt, de a tulajdonosnak jobban oda kellene figyelnie. - A személyzet kedvességét emelném ki. Az ágynemű és a törülközők tiszták voltak, minden más kiábrándító. Egy barbecue vacsorát kaptunk ajándékba, de ez nem volt igazi kárpótlás. Az egész hely a természeti adottságokra épít, semmi másra nem költenek. Mintha megállt volna az idő évekkel ezelőtt. A reggeli egyhangú volt, a kávé ihatatlan, a gyümölcslevek gyenge szörpök. A karbantartás a szobákban katasztrofális, ez volt a legdrágább szállásunk, reálisan 2 csillagot érdemel.

Рядом сразу пирс, удобно добираться. Цены высоковаты и сверху добавляют еще 10%. Много насекомых и ящериц, но они везде на острове. На отливе возле отеля неудобно купаться.
• Marta (8/5): A little worn out resort at the best location on the 4K beach - Excellent location, really comfortable to travel to/from, calm and intimate as the last property at the end of a long, white sandy beach. The staff is helpful and polite. The small cottages are poorly designed and are not suitable for longer stay, although the location is really well suited for a long, relaxing vacation. Very few and overused/uncomfortable sun-beds are located on the beach, especially compared to other resorts.

• Valerie (7/5): Reasonable hotel stunning view - The pool and location were stunning. The rooms felt a little tired needing some updating. We had an ocean view which was perfect. The rooms needed refurbishing. Cracked mirror in bathroom which had been sort of glued. Other minor things which would improve the look of the place. Outside our room at the side there was a discarded air conditioning unit which didn’t look great it could have been disposed of very easily. It brought down the tone of the resort.

Is a great location if you want a bit quieter/calmer, but easy 5min walk into the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend staying here !

• Emma (8/5): Idyllic location. The hotel was good value for money - Being so close to the beach. Staff were very helpful. WiFi worked on the beach. Beach bar b q was very nice and served every night without needing to book. Sunbeds on the beach were bit tired and not many available. We were there at low season so during busier times there would be less. The pool was very chlorinated. The noise from the bars and clubs on other beaches carries across the bay and is often loud and very late.

• Nina (8/5): - В этом отеле я отдыхал третий раз и если получится вернусь в следующий отпуск Расположение - это последний отель на пляже поэтому мало народа, тишина и вечерняя музыка доносится отдаленно Завтраки - достаточно разнообразные Персонал - приветливый, ни разу не отказал в помощи Номера (бунгало с видом на океан) - достаточно просторное, но требует ремонта на качество проживания не повлияло., комфортная ванная комната (душ) Пляж - ежедневно убирается, но лучшим не назову Кондиционер в номере не работал должным образом, не охлаждал а просто гонял воздух (походу не заправлен) Рядом с отелем в море вытекает речушка с неприятным запахом и мутью из за чего купаться приходилось уходить далеко от отеля. Именно это очень испортило впечатление отдыха в этом году , вместо лазурного моря вода у отеля серого цвета с запахом. Если бы заранее об этом знал то выбрал бы другой отель. В прошлые посещения отеля русло реки было засыпано, что не давало воде попадать в море. Надеюсь в дальнейшем сотрудники отеля это исправят

• Andrea (8/5): Relaxing - would have enjoyed a good breakfast though. - We liked the location of the resort and our room was quiet. The breakfast was awful. Also our credit card would not work for payment but it worked everywhere else on the island. The only way we could pay was with Australian dollars but they did not want to accept them - they did eventually as the only option. Wonderful views and far away from the noise but close enough if you wanted to relive your youth. 1) you could hear the people in the attached bungalow in their bathroom, not a problem for us because we had a family member staying. We had a garden bungalow. Perhaps cleaner and more sunbeds.

Ein Bier für 3 doller +10 Prozent taxe wie auch aufs Essen die taxe . Mit welcher Begründung kommt man zu solchen Wucher Preisen ein paar Meter weiter am Strand zahlt man für Essen und Bier oder andere Getränke die Hälfte . Diese übertriebenen Preise kann und muss ich nicht verstehen
• Emily Ann (9/5): Fantastic stay on a paradise island, at the quiet end but plenty to do near by - This resort is in the most perfect part of the island, away from the noise and with beautiful sunset views. I loved my stay here and would’ve stayed longer had I not already booked elsewhere. The pool overlooking the sea is fantastic and the option to eat on the beach at night is a real touch. My beef burger was delicious and the staff were very accommodating and helpful with late check out & onward travel. It’s not something that I didn’t like, I personally thought it was fantastic, but please be aware this hotel is on the edge of the jungle so there are lizards and bugs and noises if you sit outside at night

Colazione buona, personale gentilissimo Purtroppo Booking lo valuta come un 4 stelle ma non ha niente di questo livello. La struttura è vecchia e malandata, la pulizia delle stanze avveniva a richiesta così come il cambio degli asciugamani. La pulizia lascia a desiderare

• Jeff (8/5): Quiet end of the beach - Quiet beachfront with nice pool. Spacious room and comfortable bed. We had one of the older rooms that looked over the walkway to the water which was nice. The private pier is great to have as other piers got very crowded. Not enough lounge/beach chairs. They were all taken by 9:00 in the morning. The breakfast was okay but the restaurant was dead at night. The bathroom/shower was as large as the bedroom but a weird set up with a sliding barn door that we were told to keep closed. It shared air with neighbouring unit which could get noisy. Newer units might have a different set up and we would prefer those.

Por su precio elevado no corresponde a la categoria.

• Joel (9/5): I only hope that the new airport does not see it become a casino hub or ruin its island charm. - Getting to the resort is part of the adventure but I was send a message pretty soon after I made the booking through Booking.com. The resort has its own pier (Bacchus Pier but the locals pronounce it more like Bakka Pier). So, when you buy your ticket, you should tell anyone who will listen that you are going there. The resort will book the ticket for you and even contact you via WhatsApp days beforehand to make sure you know how to get there. (Ferry costs $14 one way, or $25 return). I was impressed with their set-up on Bacchus Pier; it looks very professional when you’re checking in. They offer you a drink and a wet towel, which is very civilized. We had to wait a bit for a room, so we grabbed some lunch in their restaurant, but you could just as easily, kill some time reading a book, drinking at the pool bar, or gazing out over the ocean. The reception is so good that they even helped me book my next ferry ticket for when we were going to leave for another island. They organized some free medicine when I was a little sick. Their staff are very friendly and helpful. The staff took our luggage from the ferry to our rooms, which was very nice. They have a trolley for bigger stuff. The rooms are a typical ‘resort’ style for Cambodia, which means: no TV, little desk space, an old safe, no wardrobes, and little shelf space. What distinguishes a good resort from a bad one is how they use the common areas, and the quality of the food offered in the restaurant. This is where Koh Rong Hill Beach Resort stands out from the crowd. The area is great. Keep walking along Longset Beach and you will discover other restaurants, bars, and a convenience store. If you walk a little further you’ll end up in Koh Touch, which has its own pier, many restaurants, two doctors (one is twenty-four hours – where you’ll see all the dehydrated young partiers from the night before being put on IVs), bars, stores with everything from bikinis to instant noodles, and tourist information. The food is very good, if not a little pricey. There is a good mix of Asian and Western food. The buffet breakfast is nice. The filter coffee is passable; they use long-life UHT milk but that is understandable. A fresh coconut costs $4 here, walk down the beach and you can get one for $2.50. A ham sandwich costs $6.50 here, in Australia, you can get one for $5.00 USD. The music can go on into the wee hours of the morning (4 a.m.) some nights, so being so far as you can get from it is one of the bonuses of this resort. The mosquitoes can be hungry at night, so bring insect repellant. It was not a big issue though. To my mind, it is three-star accommodation, not the four-star as advertised, but the beach and the view make up for a lot. The pool bar is fun (although the pool water hurt our eyes). I ended up pulling a chair in from the veranda so I could work online on a shelf over the mini fridge, which meant I was leaning forward more than I should, and I could not work for as long a time as I usually do. The Wi-fi was good but I don’t think a digital nomad would be comfortable in this workspace. Laundry is very expensive, the best price we could find was $2 per kg, which is twice as much as I was paying on the mainland. Everything is more expensive on Koh Rong. I don’t believe that it is because of the island’s remoteness either, I think it has more to do with the only customers being tourists or Khmer emigrants coming back for a holiday, so everyone is paying tourist prices. This is one of my main issues, this is a tourist hub. Most of the Khmer natives that you’ll meet will be staff or business owners. The Khmer themselves know that everything is expensive, so you won’t see many around unless they live overseas and are here on vacation too.

Nous avons aimé le restaurant au-dessus de l'eau et le BBQ sur la plage. Bungalow propre et lit confortable. Situation idéale, plage propre et belle piscine. Pas de lampes de lécture près du lit. Nous aurions aimé dormir la porte-fenêtre ouverte, mais ce n'était pas possible sans une porte moustiquaire. Pas fans de clime, nous aurions préférer un ventilateur au plafond.
