- Meriel (9/5): We really appreciated having room for the four of us in such a lovely spot. - Great location for Frome. Comfortable and clean, and a welcome box of chocolates. We were aware in advance that there wouldn’t be a dishwasher, but as you’re asking, that would have made it even better.
- Esther (10/5): - It’s a lovely property with lots of history in a great location. It was very clean and beautifully decorated.
- Anna (10/5): Perfect short break cottage to relax with friends and explore the area. - The location was central enough to walk into the centre. It had the perfect amount of space for 3 of us to sleep and relax. It was very clean with good facilities. Communication was excellent. Nothing.

- Lisa (10/5): Lovely accommodation in a great central location. - Tasteful accommodation, very comfortable and a short walk to the centre of Frome. Host Gemma was very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
- Judith (9/5): We had a wonderful short break. Cottage was well equipped and had everything we neededd - Location was very good. We were able to walk to shops pubs and restaurants easily. Didn't like the fact that it only had one bathroom. Parking was a bit difficult.
- Emma (9/5): Great cosy cottage in fantastic location to explore this lovely town - Fabulous location. Cosy little quirky cottage. Lovely garden. Great communication from the hosts when needed. A real shame that there wasn't a small dishwasher as previous guests had obviously not washed up very well.
We had to wash everything we used before we used it. Another tea towel or 2 would have made the job easier.
Not enough inside seating that was comfortable and not enough for 5 people. The single chair is falling apart and the dinning room chairs felt like they may fall apart soon.
- Yvette (9/5): Very lovely week- thank you - Very cosy, clean and a good space. Easy parking behind the cottage.
- Laurent (9/5): Superb -
- Saa (9/5): A wonderful (albeit short) stay in a quaint house located in a lovely area. - The location was great. There was plenty to do and places to eat locally. The house itself had a wonderful homely decor. The lock box and instructions for how to enter the property make the whole process very convenient. There was very little not to like. The only thing I was unsure of was what to do with our rubbish/waste. There was no bin liner and unclear instructions on what to do with the different kinds of rubbish we had.
- Julie (9/5): Beautiful area. Lovely house - Didn’t receive check in details on time. All the mugs were tea stained and some of the cutlery was not properly clean.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Very enjoyable break in a great location, convenient for everything Frome has to offer. - Perhaps some extra cleaning products in kitchen, such as a scouring pad for frying pans, and a second teetowel. Otherwise everything was perfect.
- Jane (10/5): Great stay and great trip - Great location, lovely and quirky, everything we needed was provided
- Tracie (9/5): Superb - Convenient location. Nice garden No iron or ironing board and didn't like the shower over the bath.
- Jack (10/5): Very satisfied. Would return. Ideally situated for visit to Longleat and Wokey Hole. - Excellent location, quiet but easy walk to shops and restaurants. Roadside parking in front of house . Well equipped kitchen. Good sized lounge, comfy beds. Nothing lacking.
- Sykes (9/5): Very relaxing stay. - Great location - quiet and very easy walking distance to the town centre. Stylishly furnished and comfortable. Well equipped for inside and outside living.
- Antony (9/5): Superb -
- Margaret (8/5): Cosy house close to town - The house is cosy and nicely decorated. It is on a quiet street with on street parking, and a short walk to town. There is a nice outside space, which we would have used if the weather had been better. The stairs are pretty steep and narrow. It might be worth mentioning this in the info.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Lovely characterful cottage in quiet side road close to Frome town centre with parking - Beautiful, tastefully decorated and furnished historic house and sunny courtyard garden with parking and comfy beds Only 3 beds made up for 4 single guests
- Anonymous (10/5): We had a lovely stay, made me want to move to a smaller house. The area is beautiful and the town so close - Close to town centre, homely, cosy, warm and clean. Tastefully decorated and furnished which makes a big difference to me. Nothing we didn’t like. We loved it.
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Penny (10/5): An oasis located minutes from the independent shops that make Frome so special. - A beautiful historic stone terraced house in a lovely quiet location minutes from Frome's town centre. Nothing - all perfect.
- Patricia (9/5): a very good venue overall - central location, well equipped kitchen for light cooking, pleasant ambience and able to park cars outside on the street, small back yard was pleasant to sit in when sunny. needs more lights in dining/ sitting room. main light in main bedroom on first floor did not work even when switched bulbs! bathroom floor tiles slippy to damp feet!
- Martin (8/5): Overall a quirky cottage with comfortable beds and equipped to a high standard. - Central location and very good accommodation. Lounge seating uncomfortable and dinning chairs a bit rickety.
- Victoria (10/5): our stay was perfect - it was amazingly well kept clean an full of all th things we needed
- Ian (9/5): A real home from home, perfect for a base when touring the area. - We have enjoyed our stay at your very interesting cottage.
We were only there for two nights so we didn't see very much in the area. We would like to stay there again because there was so much we didn't see.
The garden was lovely just great for winding down after a busy day, and led onto the car park at the rear, although it was quiet and not noisy with traffic. The cottage was very small and cramped but in a building dating from 1705 it was to be expected.
Didn't like the winding staircase.
