- Louise (10/5): The perfect place to relax - Everything!
Amazing cottage with amazing views. We had mixed weather, sun, rain and snow/ice, and nowhere better to get cosied in. Ping pong, chess and plenty of board games, Netflix etc to keep you busy. Loved the real fire and the view from the bath.
Super comfortable bed (so comfy I checked to see what mattress so I can buy one!)
Stunning sunrises. Saw an eagle from the garden.
Be aware there is a steep track down to the cottage. It was fine until the snow/ice weather warning. Salt was provided but we lleft our car at the top of the hill to be on the safe side. Not an issue for us but could be tricky for someone with poor mobility/health. Nothing that we didn't like.
- Jess (10/5): - Perfect location and incredibly clean and comfortable

- Jan (10/5): The place you will love and will be very sad when leaving it. It is a "must to come again" location! - The place is marvelous itself. House is spacious and very convenient. Extremely well equipped, cozy. There was actually nothing we would not love there. Garden, where otter came through on its way to the sea. Elk came to say Hi. Seals nearby. And in the evening, fireplace with live fire and peaceful view over the bay. Fits well two families. Both having their own privacy, but plenty of space to share as well. All that in the heart of lovely Harris countryside. Simply one of the nicest and the most pleasant places we visited yet. there was nothing we did not like :-)
- David (10/5): Molban was the perfect destination for a relaxing, peaceful holiday, exploring Harris - A terrific location, very peaceful with its garden overlooking the beach and the sea. Very scenic surroundings.
Secluded from the main road, down a track. Yet only a few minutes drive from the Ferry terminal at Tarbert and with a pleasant walk into the village from the cottage
The cottage was cosy and very comfy for relaxing, with two large lounging areas, as well as a dining area, well stocked kitchen and large bedrooms and well stocked games cupboard Nothing to note that we didn’t like, Molban was ideal for the relaxing holiday we were looking for
- Globetrotter (8/5): Old charming big house bordering the sea in need of some refreshing. - Lovely house bordering the sea with 3 bedrooms and 2 living rooms with an incredible old manor style. We had 3 days feeling really at home. The fireplace and a big kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine were also instrumental. A convenient parking is available nearby. Like most of the old houses the charm comes at the price of an intensive maintenance. Our mattress was very old, we were cold in the evening but warm in the morning, we had to purchase wood to make fire and some kitchen appliances were very old or not usable. There was no guidebook to facilitate the heating, to locate towels (2 were provided but we were 4 adults) or to recommend areas where to go. In spite of these inconveniences we had a good stay in a lovely place. Not suitable for wheelchairs.
