• Melanie (7/5): Great location, spacious, would stay again! - The location was great. Not much of an ocean view. But less than 100 steps from the sand. Right near nice grass field/area & park. Outdoor public showers to rinse off when leaving the sand. Loved that great food places are within walking distance. Recommend Cruisers for lunch or dinner and Balboa Lily's for breakfast or brunch. If you don't mind a short drive, Mama D's is worth it. The condo offers enough space easily for 6 people. Ceiling fans and plenty of windows allow for nice breeze to flow through when opened. We stayed in unit E. Upstairs and above the carports. Privacy being upstairs to leave windows open if wanted and also not worrying about foot noise bothering anyone staying below you. Great water pressure when showering. Full kitchen with accessories. Kitchen - good size, great counter space. Appliances in good condition. Good size rooms. Each bed offered 4 decent pillows. 1st room - 1 queen & 1 full bed. 2nd room - 1 queen. Both had TVs. Offered beach sand toys. Iron & ironing board. High chair for littles & pack n play (we didn't use). Plenty of towels & beach towels. Nightstands offered USB & outlets. It's needs a little attention. Living room - curtains on slider aren't wide enough, leaving see through gaps. Furniture is more for looks than practicality. The couch/sofa is stiff, & stained. Dining room - the table & chairs seating for 6. However, chairs felt cheap. Flimsy, not sturdy, not comfortable. Small metal tubing frame. Kitchen - 3 coffee makers (2 keurigs & one pot coffee maker) but no coffee. It would have made a great difference having complimentary coffee & tea available etc. There was no cleaner for counters & tables. Like antibacterial cleaning wet wipes or spray. That would be great. Trash can in kitchen the lid handle was cockeyed/ broken. So the lid would get stuck closed when you would use the foot pedal to open it. We were able to adjust it as best as we could. So it wouldn't get caught when trying to open it. It needs to be replaced. Spare bedroom (single bed) bed is uncomfortable. Power cable for the TV was hanging, not secured/covered against wall. Would recommend a long plate like cover to keep from being tampered with or possibly, pulled on by small children. Guest bathroom - for the toilet & shower room the door is too long, rubs the floor when in use. This is heard at night especially. Shower stall/doors one stationary which made it difficult to reach knobs for bathing littles. Practically have to get in to turn water on. Also that shower door has exposed metal brackets pointing inside may have been for a rack/bar. Suggest removing, hazard while in use. Master bedroom - both beds uncomfortable. Queen bedframe didn't size to the box spring bed off kilter or broken. Leaned to the right. The full bed, well its a full. Good for Kids. For the bedrooms it would have been nice to offer luggage cots. So their not lying on the floor. Regardless of length of visit. Curtains were sun faded. Sheets were all a little coarse. Porch patio set - table top cracked/broken.
• GillBeck (8/5): Would go again - Location was amazing. Beach is right there. Beds were comfy. Close to the fun zone. Guest Shower didn't work, and we told the manager that repair could wait until we left. So, not on them.
• Johnson (9/5): Very nice option in Newport Beach - Location to the beach, onsite parking. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Full kitchen The couch was uncomfortable
