- Kmancillas (9/5): - Beautiful and clean. Has a lot of charm. Quiet and good location. Staff was nice Breakfast was not kept up, no coffee, no dishes, cold potatoes. Staff hard to find.
- Roy (10/5): -
- Jeff (9/5): Nice stay - Ambiance Breakfast staff overwhelmed
- Ruben (8/5): -
- Kirsten (10/5): Amazing would 100% book again - The ambiance was amazing, also loved the pool area. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was great very tentative with any questions I had over breakfast or about the cottage where breakfast was held. The comforter was thin so we kinda froze at night
- Jennifer (7/5): Just ok but not living up to the price we were charged for a NASCAR weekend. - The mansion is beautiful. The room was clean and breakfast was good. Creaky floor, could hear every move our upstairs neighbor made throughout the night. Road noise was obnoxious at times. This isn’t the quiet country setting it looks like from the pictures.
- Douglas (10/5): - We upgraded to the house instead of the carriage house.
It was refreshing to stay there instead of cookie cutter hotels.
The house seemed well kept up and with it being over 100 years old , we took notice of the detailed design of the old homes as well as the well done modern but done in old decor upgrades.
The staff was great.
Would stay there again.
- Kenneth (9/5): -
- Gloria (10/5): Staff members were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. - I like that the hotel was easy to find and easy access to surrounding places. N/A
- James (7/5): Good breakfast, only place to stay in town - The breakfast was very good. The first room given to us was very loud(air cooling) system. Give a second room , doors down. Same situation Third room on third floor, didn’t work, as we had bikes. On the fourth try it was okay. Receptionist, after 3 was rude. Needs skills in customer relations. Layout of hotel, kind of wonkey.
- Brooks (10/5): - Everything
- Matthew (7/5): - Very clean room and very affordable for the stay we had.
- Melissa (10/5): - The rooms are nice. Breakfast is good. The staff is helpful and friendly. There wasn't anything we didnt like about our stay there. Its lovely and we definitely will be back
- rdelac69 (10/5): - Would recommend and would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area. Room was clean, breakfast was good, overall property met our expectations. I really like that it is a gated property (have to use keycard to enter) so we definitely felt safe overall. No complaints!
- Tommi (9/5): - Unique style hotel and good breakfast!
- Nathaniel (10/5): -
- Dawn (9/5): - The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. The breakfast buffet had hot food like eggs, bacon and sausage that were not really hot. I was told it opened at 6:30 by a person at the front desk when I checked in. The place was packed when I got there at 6:30, like they had opened earlier.
- Dean (10/5): -
- Carol (9/5): -
- Bonnie (9/5): Beautiful hotel! - I loved the room and the old house attached to the hotel is beautiful. It is a little confusing to get in the first time. There is a gate and you have to push the bell to get in. Check in also is not at the big house so that’s a little bit of a head scratcher but no big deal- you go down the hill to the carriage house.
- Lynn (10/5): This is our go to place when in the area. - The breakfast is really good!
- Lynn (10/5): This is our go to place when we are in the area. I highly recommend it! - The breakfast is wonderful!
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Ellen (10/5): -
- Philip (5/5): For the price of the room, I won't be staying at Hotel Finial again. - The bathroom/large comfortable king bed. For the price of the room, breakfast could have been better. The room felt lived in, not fresh. The air-conditioner buzzed all night long, rattled when it turned on. Kept us awake thru the night. Eventually turned it off all together. Baseboards were dirty and scared. Pool area was undesirable. I felt like I was in a 2 star motel but paid 4 star hotel prices ($142.00) The fancy part was the old style exterior/interior quaintness at the front of the building.
- Lisandro (4/5): old rundown facility; they really need to do a complete renovation or consider closing - poor hotel looks rundown; breakfast was poor quality, fruit tray was stale; poor service
- Kerry (10/5): -
- Tamara (10/5): Excellent - Everything, very comfortable and clean.
- Lyndsey (7/5): Nice location, but disappointed in the false advertising - It was beautiful, the room was big and roomy. The fact that the fireplace was decorative and that was not disclosed in the listing. I paid extra for this option since it was a cold rainy night.
- Camille (1/5): We checked in and immediately checked out. Still waiting for partial refund. - Unimpressed. We did not find it as pictured. Older facilities. Odd location and access.
- james (10/5): - location price staff the grounds nothing
- Robert (8/5): - Good breakfast. Small TV.
- Jamie (5/5): - The location was ok. It looks like it is getting in the bad section of town. The rooms needs update and paint, overall place needs a little TLC. The breakfast could be a little better.
- Johnson (9/5): - Everything I was well pleased
- Veronica (10/5): -
- Juanita (10/5): -
- Hulsey (10/5): Perfect bed and breakfast type hotel - Quaint, clean, friendliness, breakfast options
- Collins (10/5): -
- Doss (10/5): Loved it and will definitely stay again - It was very convenient to everything
- Stig (6/5): - OK pris, koselig hus men endte opp i annekset. Mye større enn bildene sier, brakkeby Støy, hørte alle andre som gikk i etasjen over
- Frank (7/5): - Lage, gepflegte Anlage sehr lautes Zimmer, vermutlich Lüftungsanlage
- Dorothy (10/5): Perfect for our one night stay. - Very unique property. All good.
- Alicia (6/5): - For our needs (an event downtown) it was a great location. The people were nice and the room was mostly in great shape. If you are noise sensitive, this is not the place for you. It rained for over a day, and the rain was hitting something metal, loud, and heavy all night. Not the hotel’s fault- but still way too loud.
Staff was cleaning the room next door at 7am on a Sunday- the door was slamming constantly, and the walls are so thin you could hear everything. For me, the noise made it too hard to sleep.
- Darren (9/5): Nice. -
- JC (7/5): Not what I expected. Thought we were staying at a B&B - The marketing made it seem like we would be able to stay in the B&B. The Best Western part was down played. Disappointing. Breakfast was supposed to be until 10 but at 9 all the hot dishes were empty.
- Tracie (2/5): BED BUGS, NO REFUND NOT EVEN FROM CORPORATE. DANGEROUS LOCATION. LOUD. DIRTY - Night front desk people were great. Historic House Had trouble with one staff member who was a kitchen manager. Kept turning up music in the main house to disturb the second floor suites. Dirty room with dead bugs on floor and on Pillows. Put bug laden pillow outside door for maid to clean and stayed there the whole 5 days outside the suite door. Bathroom was dirty, under bed was not vacuumed had bugs and dental floss there the whole time. Even at request, maid never swept. This was The second most expensive "SUITE" (Kirby...not a real suite, just larger room with bathroom). Suite above my head wore high heals on the wood floors and that was AWFUL!!! Ask for a partial refund and GOT NOTHING for the 6 days at the hotel. one in king room 5 in Kirby Suite. The location is dangerous and gated, hear bums all night on the streets fighting. BED BUGS. Even after sheet change. They have a dirty plastic cover on boxspring mattress. Broken decor.
- Tracie (2/5): Dirty, BED BUGS, Horrible noise. Rude Staff Member. Coroporate is NON RESPONSIVE. OVERPRICED. - They reused bacon from previous day on the tiny food bar. Night staff was nice. Kitchen manager was confrontational. Lodged a complaint and they would not give me the managers name. Called coroporate and they could not get hold of the hotel front staff on Thursday. Call Corporate Friday and they finally got hold of them as I was leaving! No refund or discount for BED BUGS, rude staff member and noise made by him for 3 days. DIRTY ROOM AND BATHROOM. Internet did not work. Not until last day did I find the secondary internet. Food reused on food bar one day to next (bacon). Dead bugs in room all over floor with dental floss under bed as well. Bit by bed bugs even after sheet change (Did not realize what they were until last day leaving and took a picture). Bathroom shower black and red mold. Rust on bathroom fixtures. Broken fixtures in room that were glued or not repaired. Put out pillow with dead bugs on it for maid to change and clean, the pillow stayed out there for 5 days in the KIRYBY "Suite" (not a suite but priced like one) For over $200 a day, this was a rip off. Anniston is dangerous. Hotel is gated. LOUD all night with bums walking and fighting in front of Hotel all night long. No refund or discount given or problems resolved. Will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Two nighttime front desk guys were very nice though. Check in late night not a problem.
- Darla (4/5): -
- Alison (4/5): -
- Danica Boyd (8/5): Nice place to stay if in Anniston - I like the big house, very nice. I liked the staff who checked us in, very cordial. The room was a good size. The grounds were well maintained and pretty. The location is a bit shady, and this hotel seems like one of the nicest things around. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim, hard to put on makeup.
- N (10/5): Would stay there again - Breakfast was great. The mansion was beautiful
- Cannon (10/5): It was wonderful to have a 24 desk for late check in and the vibes were beachy even though we were in the middle of the - It looked really nice and the room was a different style than usual The instructions for how to get in and where to register were not as clear to me but I arrived late night
- Aaron (10/5): - The grounds are beautiful. The history of the Mansion is interesting and kept up well.
- Sheree (8/5): Beautiful facility and grounds with very friendly check-in and check-out staff. - Beautiful mansion and grounds. Check-in was easy. Room was comfortable. Went to the main house for breakfast and had “Private” hang tag on our door. Went back to the room after breakfast and the maid had been in and tossed our items we had in the fridge and our doughnuts we purchased the night before.
- Christa (8/5): -
- Lee Anne (10/5): - beautiful facility
- Hopkins (8/5): -
- Shannon (10/5): -
- Deborah (10/5): - Very pretty Everything was very nice.
- T Boros (10/5): -
- Kari (7/5): -
- Matija (8/5): Very good - Breakfast must be better, very poor selection and too many times food tray were empty
- Marsha (10/5): Comfy and home - Check in was awesome, and bar staff, Alyssa made my stay! Housekeeping was so nice and made sure we had all we needed, and breakfast was wonderful 😋 Loved it all
- Greg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Israel (8/5): Very good - great customer service lack of dining options in the hotel
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thompson (9/5): Superb -
- Ariel (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff No elevator to the suite rooms. I did know until check in. I was booked in the ballroom. Wish it was advertised before check in.
- Kayla (8/5): Fun, pretty, and comfortable, with great staff! - Very kind and knowledgeable staff, the room was pretty, and the pool was refreshing. The bar was nice too! A little dated and the room in the mansion was warm, the breakfast was okay!
- Gioia (9/5): I needed a place to stay while passing through. This place was more than adequate. - This place was fairly convenient to where I needed to be. The grounds were also very nice. I didn’t realize it would be gated the way it was. The neighborhood was fine but I wouldn’t describe it as desirable.
- Tracy (8/5): First time staying here, probably the last. - I didn't get to enjoy the breakfast either day I was there. I didn't realize and don't like my room door being on the outside.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Celeste (10/5): Outstanding - Everything
- Angela (10/5): Delightful, Relaxng - Secluded and private with old world class.
Would be beautiful for Wedding ! If I had another day to stay by pool
- Loeffler (4/5): Lipstick on a pig, trying to be 5 star but just doesn’t cut it - Street view was nice Scrambled Eggs tasted like water was pured in AFTER cooked… gross!
I suggest putting washable pads on the beds. Rm 308 felt & sounded like i was sleeping on a waterproof mattress
- Jason (9/5): Great site with nice rooms and wonderful breakfast. - Great room, great place. Breakfast was amazing with lots of options. Great breakfast area with lots of seating options. n/a
- Kevin (8/5): Stop over stay - Breakfast, staff and rooms Nothing of note really

- Jeanne (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lenora (8/5): Very good -
- Mehrdad (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (6/5): Average. Check in staff was courteous and helpful. Bed was comfortable. - Things were running out for breakfast, coffee, toaster was 1/2 working, not much for us since we are vegan. We brought out own almond milk. It is really needing a face lift everywhere
- Joni (10/5): I wish we could have stayed longer! - The property was beautiful with a rich history. Service and breakfast were exceptional. There was nothing that I didn’t like.
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): Loved our weekend here and will be back! - It was so beautiful and clean. I loved how peaceful it felt too.
- Steve (5/5): Staff was excellent despite shortfalls for the room. - Good breakfast; Bring back the Artisanal pastries from next door! Water pressure in room inadequate, kept changing. TV remote did not work. Better instructions needed for emergency window exit.
- April (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carey (7/5): Good - Historical value. Room had cob webs just as you enter inside door on left and over lamps. Smells musty. Breakfast was not a southern breakfast. Gravy was out of a pack, biscuits were burnt. No cut fruit, and no one around.
- Atario (9/5): Superb -
- Erick (10/5): Great experience. A unique place to stay - If you are looking for a different experience this is the place for you. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bar/registration building is a very cool place to relax and grab a drink. They had the men’s/womens ncaa games on the tv’s which was perfect for me
