- gumede (10/5): My stay at Rubei's self-catering home. - I absolutely loved my stay here. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly the host was super friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. The place itself was clean, beautiful, and exactly as shown in the pictures. I especially loved the balcony; it was such a nice touch and really elevated the experience.
Honestly, at first I thought the prices were too good to be true and wondered if it might be a scam but it absolutely wasn’t. Everything exceeded my expectations. They really outdid themselves. I would definitely recommend this place and would gladly stay here again. The only thing that felt a bit unusual was that the host was also on the premises. They never disturbed us at all, but it did feel slightly awkward at first. Another small issue was the gate we had to get out of the car to open it in the rain, so it could definitely use fixing. Other than that, everything was perfect. The place is very budget-friendl

- Sisanda (7/5): Our stay was alright. The area doesn’t have a lot of activities to do. - We loved that we had a private pool. And we were close to Bluff butchery. The couches smelled like pee and they were a bit wet with stains. The pool wasn’t clean as well.

- Mbali (1/5): Not good, was hoping to get in the pool but dirty - Very far The toilet was stinking, pool dirty, facility, it wasn't clean
- Sophie (10/5): - I liked the space it could accommodate my family. House was clean and beautiful. It was our home away from home. Would definitely visit again.

- bramdhew (1/5): Terrible - When i booked the property it stated i will have the entire property however on arrival i find that the lady of the house lives in the yard in back right next to the entertainment area and it does not state that on the booking information. She further told me on arrival that no visitors are allowed even though i booked the house out and any visitors will be an additional R200 per person even if they dont stay. No where does it stipulate on the booking site about no visitors allowed neither have i heard of a guest house doing such! … the house says fully air conditioned but only the lounge and main bedroom has aircon… utensils in the kitchen were scarce and driveway gate motor was out of order aswell as the clothing steam iron was not working. I received a email stipulating that check in was at 15:00 aswell as Checkout same time as check in however on the morning of my checkout day she calls me at 09:30 to ask me if im ready to check out i showed her the email and told her what it says and she told me she needs to clean for the next guests i tried to be considerate and asked for and hour or two to pack and clean and leave she then comes into the house while we packing watching us and standing there not giving us one once of privacy at all yet we were only supposed to check out at 15:00 she was rushing us off the property. The property was a 6 sleeper and it was 4 of us. This was honestly the worst experience of my life and i was highly disappointed with the treatment!.
- Amahle (7/5): All was good - Firstly the parking area, we had no worries about the cars being stolen and the accommodation itself felt like home we were very comfortable and we had everything we needed from the house( e.g. pots and cutlery) We had no water on the last day of our stay

- Martin (7/5): Good -
- Kuda (9/5): Exceptional space for hosting - Flexibility of the owners to negotiate on adjusting set rules. Good space for hosting get away birthdays & Stokfella lunch. A place one can use over and over again, in a very quiet Neighbourhood Nothing to be honest. The space is just perfectly located. Limited parking inside but one can park 3 cars inside the property and other cars can park outside. Which I don’t mind myself
- Gaba (1/5): Bad -
- Merlin (8/5): Very good - It was very comfortable and clean, feels alot like home The only thing I did not like is that privacy is restricted and the owners are 3meters away, so when you look out the kitchen your see the owners are right in front of you, either than that it's a great place
- Delyn (7/5): It was a fair enough stay - The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. The aircon in the one room doesn’t get cold, the security gate at the front of the house didn’t lock and the driveway gate electric wasn’t working.
- Ramatsetse (6/5): Pleasant - The placecis quiet and private There's only one bathroom and kitchen utensils was also a challenge
- Zanele (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shamila (3/5): 28 Invernia Road. Avoid at all costs - Spacious, clean bedding No security. Driveway gate was on manual. We had open and close it manually in the rain and odd hours of the night. The front door gate doesn't lock. No door mat to wipe off mud when raining. No dressing chest or dressing mirrors. The only mirror was on the stairs where there was no plug point it shelving. The only air conditioner, in the main bedroom, didn't work. Other rooms had to make do with noisy fans which need long extension cords. Only 4 toilet rolls were provided for 6 people for 3 days. The checklist for kitchenware was a joke. Only 3 tea mugs and 2 drinking glass, a few folks and knives. One toilet light didn't work. The ceiling was leaking when it rained. From the stains one could see that it was an old leak. Furthermore the garage was occupied and couldn't be used.
Overall I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody as it is poorly maintained and not worth the amount charged for this place
- Tevin (7/5): Good -
- Madiya (7/5): Good - It was clean and very safe Only one bathroom.
I must have my own gate remote, Everytime you want to go out you must call the caretaker to open the gate for me.
- Sinhle (8/5): It was great relaxing place with a nice pool - A lot I did like nothing bad to complain about The aircon and door and I believe in adding blinds in the kitchen that’s all.
- Timothy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Conco (9/5): Superb - The whole house was beautiful n clean n the guy hu waz assisting us waz very friendly The swimming pool they nid to clean its seems like n old swimming pool n there's no aircon but they have fan n no mirrors in our bedrooms
- Lindi (8/5): Staying at Rubies was really amazing - Location was amazing The swimming pool was dirty from the day we got there and was cleaned on the actual day we checked out
- Ngobeni (8/5): Very good -
- Tefo (5/5): Passable - Only the bedrooms with double beds Blocked toilet downstairs, the area, the dirt yard clustered with waste.
- Agnes (7/5): I loved my stay - There was no breakfast,
The location was easy to find
The place was quiet and good for resting Wifi the network was low
