Guest Reviews
- MA LEAH (2/5): It was bad. - None We still have to call for the reception to come to the frontdesk. Stairs were to steep. Rooms and toilet and bathare small. Mattress was hard.”
- Ma. Leah (3/5): Stairs to the 2nd floor is steep. Water heater doesn’t heat w - If the toilet bowl cover is broken. Aircon couldnt function alone without the aid of the electric fan. Room is too small. Mattress is bad.
- Mark (7/5): - Near the town proper, accommodating staffs, decent breakfast, they have a hair blower, they have bidet, clean room and comfy beds. Room was too cramped for four pax and no space for luggages to open, the bathroom door is hard to close and open, the shower heater was too hot even on low option,

- Fabio (8/5): Preis-/ Leistung super hotel. - Zentral in El Nido, Personal war sehr freundlich. A/C etwas veraltet, deshalb ziemlich laut. Musste Sie nachts ausschalten damit wir schlafen konnten.
- Karianne (7/5): -
- Sabino (7/5): -
- Shahar (5/5): - Good location Tiny room, lots and lots of bugs. The door had a huge gap so I couldn’t get rid of any. Heard everything from the reception that was right next to my room (the staff where nice but I could hear them playing video games all day, woke up every morning from gun voices from the video games…)
- Lee Anne (9/5): The staff are very friendly. Our stay was comfortable for a family. - The location.
- Marie Dawn Angelie (4/5): - Very small space and beds are creaking cant sleep properly, breakfast same everyday for my entire 3days stay.

- Victoria (1/5): It felt like Pac-Man prison. Room was so tiny could only take 3 steps in the room. It had no windows. The bed was awful, - The location Everything else
- 椎橋 (6/5): -
- Eira (8/5): - Good experience overall. The place is comfortable, well located, and good value for the area. Everything was generally smooth and pleasant.
- Cecilia (8/5): - Ubicación ideal, desayuno incluido y cama cómoda. El wifi no funcionó ni un minuto

- Ferry (10/5): -
- Marek (4/5): - Blisko centrum Pokoje malutkie ciemne bez okien, czułem się jak internowany , można dostać klaustrofobi
- Cerezo Nadeu (8/5): The staff was brilliant and we loved El Nido. We’ll be back for sure! - The stuff was brilliant The triple rooms don’t have enough space for luggage and 3 people. We got asked to be changed to 2 double rooms paying the difference so all good at the end.
- Hiroyuki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neslie (9/5): Superb - Near the beach, and the host is very responsive :) They also serve good breakfast! There’s no soap holder in the comfort room (lol) very important when you’re travelling with a group.
- Andres (9/5): I would definitely stay here again - Location was great! Staff is amazing! The water pressure in the shower. There's a laundromat right underneath it that I can hear the machines going on.
- Gina (3/5): Poor -
- Marcel (3/5): Scam, u can be lucky but also have a realy bad time - Friendly people and in the Center… but… bad Management The Management allows over booking, so they moved us every day to a other Hotel and Room.
They do this to earn more money… and you can’t talk with a responsible Person from the Management.
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Aiza (8/5): Very good -
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - I like the location, value of money, and the room is clean There is a short of night flies in the room.
- Esme (4/5): Disappointing stay but good location. - Great location, air con and WiFi, staff were friendly. Complimentary breakfast which was sufficient. Bathroom was small and very poor, tap didn’t work and the shower had very low pressure.
We were asked to switch rooms midway through our stay which we declined, then someone came knocking on our door at 7:40am the following morning to ask us again.
During the course of the stay our room wasn’t cleaned once either & had to request clean towels and toilet roll.
- Jana (3/5): Would definitely not come back.. - Staff was very friendly and the rooms very clean. First of all after travelling two days we arrived and they let us know that there was overbooking and our room is free the next day. The lady showed us another room in another hotel which was not the same category we booked. Looked horrible. I checked on google the price and it was 1/3 less the price we paid. I was not confirmed with that and wanted a room with same category or my money back. After letting us wait two hours and said that there is no room in el nido available she was asking for I cancel the whole week, which I couldn’t because there was no option for cancelling and of course at this hotel you had to pay the amount before, I was not ok with that. After waiting another hour because she contacted the costumer service we left and the second hotel we asked had a free room. The next day we could check in.
- rooms are to small. Only one of two could unpack their clothes.
- pressure of water is bad. Bring some dry shampoo if you have long hair 😀
-it’s not on the Main Street but I never had such a bad sleep like in this hotel. Feels like the walls are made of cardboard. Neighbours were to load at night, traffic etc. Really disturbing if you get up early for a trip.
- if you think you book a room with a privat balcony, it’s not
- breakfast is good but simple, a little bit limited but was tasty
- Harley (10/5): Exceptional - Location is great , Clean and Cozy place, Friendly staff, The food is great.. good wifi good can relax in the hotel own cafe.. where you can drink coffee and chill . Wanted to stay longer no rooms available.. A lot of guest .. yeah maybe because of the season
- Roberto (8/5): Very good -
- Ralph (1/5): Bad - Room Unavailability and Miscommunication:
• Upon arrival at 3:00 PM, we were informed that the room for three pax/guests (we booked for 2 rooms, good for 3 pax and 4 pax thru booking.com) was unavailable due to repairs and were relocated to RL Harbor Inn Annex, located several blocks away;
• We were told the original room would be ready the following day; however, we later discovered it was occupied by other guests;
• We requested to remain in the temporary room for the entirety of our stay to avoid the inconvenience of moving again, especially since we had tours scheduled the following day and additional belongings to manage. However, the owner informed us that the original room had a malfunctioning light bulb, which why it was under repair. She mentioned that the current occupants had also complained about this issue and were scheduled to check out the next day, at which point we could move into the room. This situation caused us significant inconvenience, especially since we were not informed of these issues prior to our arrival. I suspect that overbooking may have been a factor, leading to us bearing the consequences of their booking errors. Ultimately, we had no choice but to relocate the following day.
Lack of Basic/Necessary Amenities:
• The room lacked essential items, such as rugs.
• When we requested rugs, staff informed us that all were in the laundry, and despite our four-day stay, none were provided.
• This oversight was particularly surprising given the holiday season, when higher occupancy and demand for amenities are expected.
Unauthorized Room Entry:
• We noticed that the air conditioning unit was turned off during our absence, leading us to believe that staff entered our room without prior notification.
• While we understand the importance of energy conservation, we should have been informed of any room entries, especially since we had personal belongings inside.
- Alex (1/5): Bad experience - We chose this hotel because of its location, terrace, and advertised Smart TV. The night before our stay, we visited the reception to see the room, but they said it was fully booked and assured us everything would be fine the next day.
On January 2nd, we arrived at 6:30 PM (despite check-in starting at 2 PM). We had dropped off our luggage earlier at 12 PM. Upon arrival, we were informed that the hotel was overbooked, and no rooms were available. They suggested we either cancel our reservation or stay in a smaller, less-equipped room for one night, provided we changed our booking or paid a higher price for the rest of the stay.
We contacted Booking.com to adjust the reservation, but it took several hours to resolve. Meanwhile, the hotel refused to let us use the room until the confirmation came through. We didn’t check in until 10 PM, despite paying for the room from 2 PM.
The room itself was disappointing: no internet (the WiFi didn’t work), poor water pressure, and a non-functional Smart TV. The hotel staff showed no understanding or care, leaving us waiting at reception for hours.
It’s unacceptable for hotels to overbook and prioritize customers who bring them more profit, disregarding existing reservations. This experience was disrespectful and inconvenient, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Nothing.
- Kayleigh (7/5): Good - Was a little concerned after reading reviews about the noise, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Room is clean, big enough to put your stuff and shower had hot water. Location is good too There was a mark on the bedsheet and we asked for it to be changed but it never was
- Robin (9/5): Cosy, clean & central - We enjoyed our stay here. Our room was clean and comfortable and had nice options to chill in the room and on a small upstairs terrace outside the room. The location was excellent, right in the center with the beach close by, laundry and good restaurants. The breakfast had nice options too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, we felt it was great value for the cost and wanted to extend our stay, but they were fully booked. The air conditioning was a bit loud, so we would cool the room and usually turn it off to sleep. We were not able to always get hot water and the pressure was low.
- Merit (6/5): Pleasant - Staff and breakfast was good. 1. Very small bathroom, not enough space to be at toilet and wash.
2. Air conditioner made loud noise at night.
3. Water level was very poor.
- Cheap (8/5): Very good - Location, wibe, staff was good. Nice sitting area and quirky building. Very noisy room, my own Aircon was loud, I also heard what sounded like 3 other aircons right outside my window. Window faced wall 30cm away, that small space got very hot from aircons so difficult to cool room. Breakfast was underwhelming, no butter or anything for the bread, no salt, no spices. 2 dry pieces of bread, one small egg, 2 almost warm slices of really cheap ham. A small piece of watermelon. If you can, book no breakfast.
Very steep stair to second floor.
- Edna (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, staff were very flexible with check in times. Quaint hotel family owned with three rooms. Room was clean and WiFi was good The room and bathroom were quite small for two people, toilets didn't flush properly (took ages to fill) and the shower had next to no water pressure and no curtain which essentially got everything in the bathroom wet.
- Nathaniel (3/5): "Looks Great in Photos, Disappointing in Reality" - The only positive is its convenient location near the beach and restaurants, but I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience. Other accommodations would likely be a better choice. The stay was disappointing for several reasons. The aircon system near the bed was loud, making it difficult to sleep, and there was a constant banging noise throughout the evening and night from below the room. The water pressure in the shower was frustratingly low, and overall, the facilities felt very basic.
Breakfast was just okay—not particularly enjoyable. The customer service wasn’t great; I didn’t feel welcomed or comfortable, especially in the seating area downstairs. There’s no proper lobby or relaxing space outside the room, just a cramped, shared balcony that felt more like a hostel. To make matters worse, there was no WiFi for two days, which was highly inconvenient.
The property doesn’t live up to the photos. It looks much better in pictures than in reality and isn’t worth the price.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suu (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Bernard (5/5): Its okay when you are on a strict budget for 1 or 2 nights but thats it. - Everything was clean in the family room. Also rhe bathroom was fine That there was no sunlight in the room and that it is very small for 4 adults it was a bit too small. So the air quality was also not that good. Freh air was only coming through the door or the aircon. Also when everyone has luggage it was very difficult to place everything in a proper way. There is also not a good way to dry clothes in the room.
- Susanna (4/5): Our toilet didn’t work for the 4 nights we spent there. We did inform the staff about it and asked them to fix it severa - location broken toilet, mice
- Onur (8/5): Good - I have never seen such room cleaning before. I am a 10 years FA i stay at thousands hotels maybe, nobody ever cleaned my room like this before. It was like a mother touch. Staff is extremely good. They are soo smiley. Free breakfast was fineee. Very good location. Water wasn't bad when we stay. We had few problems with AC and internet but it's okey in El Nido. It was quiet place. Too small. Not even have a space to put your clothes. You can not unpack your bag! Only a bed in a room that's all.
- Ona (10/5): Clean and good place to stay - The room was so clean and staff was super kind and helpful at anytime. Nothing. Everything was fine!
- Cheryll (8/5): Well definitely go back - Native Filipino theme
- Ginger (9/5): Definitely worth staying - The staff was incredibly accommodating. It wasn’t a great location and the breakfast was lovely. The Wi-Fi could be stronger and they could have more rooms with double beds.
- Jeremy (6/5): Pleasant - Good staff, good location. Clean basic rooms. Bathroom plumbing flooded the bathroom 2” deep and wouldn’t drain.
The toilet and bathroom were combined, so when the shower flooded the floor it also sprayed the toilet paper.
“If” the hair dryer fell it could electrocute you if plugged in.
Small rooms and very very busy street with a lot of noise. We barely slept for 4 nights.
- Elsie (8/5): Very good -
- Angel (10/5): Exceptional - The room is sparkling clean! Staff were friendly most especially ate joy who assisted us during our check-in and check-out and during our breakfast. The owner was also friendly and she tried to help us in everything that we have requested and needed. The location is also good which is just a few minutes walk away to the town proper. Will definitely recommend! Nothing much.
- Danae (1/5): Disappointing, rude staff, price doesn’t match the amenities. - The only good thing is that this place was renovated and clean. I booked this hotel for my father, the pictures in the booking were misleading, they ended up putting him in a very small room where the bed was between 2 walls and the shower was very small with no curtain so the water was splashing everywhere. He tried to talk to the staff but the 2 young people there was making fun of him, saying that they will call the administrator or boss but then ignoring him and laughing behind his back. He saw that some people checked out from the room near him which was the room on the pictures here where we booked it, they said that they will give it to him but ended up ignoring him. The breakfast was poor but that was ok bcs nothing that good was promised, but the constant electricity and water blockages made the stay harder. For this price that we paid which was almost €70 for 1 night the amenities and the treatment was disappointing. I usually dont write reviews but my dad was so sad and so disappointed that I couldn’t not do something.
- Marta (1/5): Bad -
- Michelle (10/5): Great stay, will recommend to friends ☀️ - Great staycation experience here! ☀️ room 5 is perfect for 3 pax. Staffs are really accommodating. The best part is the Breakfast inclusion 💯 we don’t need to look around before going to our planned tours for the day. The place is clean but probably just experienced some low pressure of water during bath but everything is fine
- Alvaro (9/5): Amazing stay, staff attention is top and location can’t get better than that - Really good breakfast, pancakes were delicious, room was very nice and the staff attention was excellent, location is great as well Not a problem but private room outside the room was not fully disclosed, never had an issue anyways
- Kuo (2/5): Very poor -
- Nir (7/5): Good - Staff were great, clean and neat and great location. Too expensive for sure, not worth the price.
Shower super weak
- Kerry (4/5): Good location, would not stay there again as bed was uncomfortable and bathroom small. WiFi not in room only on balcony - Location was good Mattress was very hard and WiFi didn’t reach our room. Bathroom very small.
- Wantuch (1/5): Don’t stay here if you value personal hygiene - There was absolutely no water and extremely poor WiFi in our 2 nights stay. We couldn’t even flush the toilet for longer than 12h, couldn’t shower. Ridiculous for that money.
- Catarina (8/5): Very good - Great place to stay, right in the middle of el nido, close to everything. Staff super nice Nothing to point out
- Tracie (8/5): Great place to stay in El Nido- despite what I didn’t like I would stay again, just get 2 rooms - Loveliest staff
Very clean
Excellent location
Breakfast was great Pretty noisy at night and early in the morning- no fault of hotel- just life- rooms facing street become very lit up and noisy requires black out curtains maybe?
The family room is super tight for 4
Very small wet bathroom
- Işınsu (5/5): Passable - So close to city centre Through the dnd sign the staff enter the room and tidy up. It was irritating.
- Sara (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and new facilities. They didn't have a hairdryer. Breakfast was poor. The bathroom is so small.
- Samantha (8/5): RL Habour Inn is in such a great location! Right in the main town and an easy tricycle ride away from all the other tour - In main town so close to everything Bathroom was a bit stinky and bed was hard
- Martyna (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely new hotel in the centre of El Nido. The staff there are very helpful. Very clean place, walking distance to everything & breakfast included. Highly recommend WiFi didn’t work very well:(
- Oluş (5/5): Passable - Nothing to love , its just clean and clean. Room was very small , you can hear all the voices from outside in your room ,the walls made from plywood , you can smell all the cook they have done at downstairs in your room , aircondition working very loud althoug if you close your aircondition you can hear the other ac 's noise in your room .It was too much expensive for this hotel.
- Anna (8/5): Very good - excellent position room too small
- Filip (6/5): It was ok, but for that price in the Philippines it can be much better…. - Nice staff, good wifi, close to the city center. Very loud neighbors, they play music long into the night and you feel as if they are in front of your door, because there is no isolation, all rooms are connected to an open space/balcony.
The room was not cleaned every day. The shower in the bathroom has very weak pressure, and the room is very small for that price.
- Brooke (7/5): Good -
- Sorita (7/5): Good -
- Kevin (4/5): One night they entered into my room while I was sleeping and woke me. - The location and value were excellent They came into my room in the middle of the night.
- Yeolan (8/5): Good location, and staff/owner was very helpful with all the local activities and organizing transportation etc - Location in the centre of town close to all food, breakfast was just right, transportation options at hand. Sink tap not working. Window has no view.
- Julius (7/5): Good -
- Jean-luc (7/5): Good - It was quiet in compared to center, it was cool for working the pressure water it was very low for the shower
- Abdelaziz (6/5): Pleasant -
- Orla (6/5): Great location and nice stay - Great location, 5 mins walk to everything. Room was nice and decent space. Aircon was good. Nice area to sit outside. Breakfast was okay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Window has 0 light coming in, so can make the room dark. Toilet wasn't great with flushing and clogged very easily. Definitely could have more options for breakfast especially for those who don't want meat for breakfast. No ants in room but definitely wouldn't leave food out in the room.
- Jean-luc (6/5): nice - hotel was quiet instead of town center the pressure of water shower it was very slow
- Brogan (7/5): Quaint stay in the centre of El Nido Town - Great location, right in the centre of El Nido town and a short stroll to the beach, Serena Street and the port. The stay felt personal and quaint. The bathroom was a little odd with the sliding door and shower set up. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but otherwise we loved the room! We were the only ones staying at the time however it may have been a little cramped or louder with other guests.
- Gazeau (7/5): Overall, it fit our budget and we felt safe enough. The location was the main reason we decided to stay here, as well as - The place was very close to the centre, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too. We got the triple room. It looked the same as on the pictures but we didn’t expect that there would be a wall right outside the window, so no natural light. Also in the description it said “private bathroom”, which it was, but it was outside the bedroom in front of the lobby… a little awkward. And the bathroom lock was also a bit wobbly. The water pressure and wifi weren’t great but that’s probably the case everywhere in El Nido.
- Ford (8/5): Good location, friendly staff, cozy room, optional tours, and good internet. - The location is in the middle of everything, so you can easily walk and don't have to spend more money on a motorcycle or renting one. The staffs are really nice and friendly, and they always say hello to us. The room was clean and really comfortable. They also have trips you can join if you want. Plus, they have a good internet connection! The room we were in didn't have a window in the bathroom. So, when you used the toilet, it would create a really bad smell in the whole room. Also, the water coming out of the shower was not strong, so it was sometimes hard to take a good bath.
- Adrienne (10/5): Perfect place in El Nido - Great location, wonderful staff, clean and comfortable room
- Katherine (3/5): Dont stay here. - Location is great. We booked 2 rooms. Upon arriving at the property, we found that our family bedroom lock wont work and I asked the desk person to check it. It didnt work for me nor her but my husband had to maneuver it to make the bent side work to lock. There is a gap for thieves to come inside so we were concerned. The bathroom looks clean but has a septic tank smell and a lot of mosquitoes coming in the window. There is a stagnant canal next to the bedroom and our private bathroom outside our bedroom. Bathroom lock unreliable too. We felt someone can just open it even without force while we are using it.
Safety, privacy, security and health concern (mosquito bites) were our concerns just within 15mins of arriving there. We attempted to get a different room but the option available was not enough for our family of 3. My cousin kept their accommodation upstairs and we found a better accommodation just near RL HARBOR. After many attempts of getting refund for valid reasons for cancellation, and talking to property manager, we still have not refunded. Been more than 2-3weeks.
We reported then to Department of Tourism to find out they have not met standards of operation.
- Felix (5/5): A good location for those who are into island hopping but room is tiny for a family of 4. - Location is good and breakfast is acceptable.
Room is really small for a family of four. Room is small, toilet sliding door is disappointing.
- Tim (7/5): Good - The place was clean and staff where friendly The AC was noisy
- Lily (10/5): perfect place to stay in el nido - breakfast, rooms were lovely no duvet just a sheet
- Jiang (7/5): Good - breakfast is great, wifi is great,
air conditioner is great, be careful not getting cold,
room is clean but ants are many if there is any food in your room, the blanket is not so good, is just bed sheet,
the stairs is difficult to carry luggage.
- Adriana (7/5): Good - Hotel in a great localisation in El Nido. Very helpful and nice staff, helping you to book the hopping tours and transfers etc. Clean and quite modern. The hotel is tiny, it was difficult to stay for 3 people in one room with baggage - there was no space to move.
