• Janet (4/5): Disappointing! Not because of the rain, we could’ve found plenty of things to do inside, because the elevators we couldn - Great location! Excellent view! Free parking. Elevators not maintained properly! Do not book this location if rain is in the forecast!Elevators are on the outside of the building and breakdown constantly. Yet you can watch the elevators at hotel across the street continually go up and down, as they are on the outside as well. Our contact person was very condescending when communicating with her about our frustration with not being able to come and go as we pleased because of the elevators not working. She made reference to our age several times. We’re in our late 50’s. She told us that younger people would just drive around until the elevators started working. That all we had to do was sit in the lobby 30 minutes to 2 hours for the elevators to start working. That is totally unacceptable, especially when you’re on vacation. We did have to climb the 37 flights of stairs, twice.

• Rio (9/5): Good location, free parking and sea view - The staff is very helpful. At first I didn't find the place and called, they FaceTimed me to help me out. Good for couples, the room is not big but very clean. The kitchen is also very good. It rains a lot so it's a good place to stay in and rest! There's Only two elevators for this building and everytime we waited for over 5 mins.

• Giovanni (8/5): Una vista mozzafiato - Appartamento numero 3703 al 37esimo piano di 40 piani: no balcone ma grande finestrona con vista ottima. Posizione vicina alla spiaggia di Waikiki ed al parco Ala Moana, per jogging o passeggiate mattutine. Lavatrice/asciugatrice comode per risciacquare/asciugare per es. i costumi/teli da bagno; appartamento già fornito di detersivi e molti prodotti per la pulizia. Angolo cucina con formo, frigorifero e microonde con cui ci si può gestire qualche pasto in appartamento (anche perché le Hawaii sono carissime, supermercati compresi). Ottimo parcheggio al coperto. Check in/out comodi con locker. Solo un ascensore su 2 in funzione per 160 appartamenti ed ogni tanto va lentissimo.. Non c’è modo di stendere ad asciugare i panni umidi.

• Kat (9/5): A beautiful condo on Oahu, walk to beaches and restaurants. - An excellent spacious room for two people, comfy bed, spotlessly clean bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and bath. Included beach towels and snorkel equipment and two kid body boards. View is unbelievably gorgeous. Located across from Ala Moana Beach park, you are a little bit away from the craziness of Waikiki but can easily walk there if you wish. The parking was a real bonus. Host exceptionally responsive. You are high up away from the street noise, but be aware that you can hear motorcycles and other loud vehicles as Ala Moana is a busy road. Ignore the booking.com incorrect check in instructions. No need to show ID. Check in a little complicated but host responded quickly. Better instructions: turn into Waikiki Marina, pull all the way to the back, condo is set back from road behind Equus condo. No address on condo building but you will see double glass doors and an office. Around the back is hundreds of lockboxes on a wall-mounted bar. Then you can follow messaged host instructions. Fob gets you into garage AND into lobby.

• Mehmet (10/5): Perfect location - We had a very positive experience with this place. The view is amazing. AC is working well. Also, the location is great. The room is cozy and comfy. We had free parking on the second floor. I would suggest that you go back-in to the parking space if you have a large car because it is tight. The bathroom is small, and if you are a tall or large person, it is a bit of a challenge. But view is enough to make you forget about the space in the bathroom. One improvement could be cleaning dust on the bathroom door once in a while. In short, I highly suggest this place. It is very safe and convenient with a spectacular view. Despite the elevator is old, it works fine, and the view from the elevator is also great.

• Catalina (9/5): Great stay - Centrally located, next to the beaches and shopping area, location-wise it is a 10/10. The view from above is spectacular and the convenience of having a reserved parking spot was greatly appreciated. I can honestly say that the elevator situation does not exist anymore, I never spent more than 2-3 minutes waiting for an elevator, which is normal, since the way up or down is really long. Even if the apartment itself is small, it has most of the things you need for a stay in Honolulu and everything is functional and in good conditions. Communication with the owner was smooth and the self-checkin is very convenient. I would definitely stay there again if I were to visit Honolulu. The door lock has some issues, it is not closing sometimes after you exit the apartment, but after insisting you manage to close it eventually.

• Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - The best thing was the view of the sea from the 37th floor. On Friday evening you can watch the weekly firework, which was really incredible. The free parking lot is awesome! In Waikiki, $40 a day is normal. The kitchen was great and had everything you need to cook for yourself. The bathroom is a good size. The washing machine is a big plus. The bed was comfortable. The Wifi was very fast. The elevator wasn't as bad as we first thought. We'll be back next time when we are in Oahu. -

• Michele (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful view. Great location. Free parking. Room was clean. The elevator broke while I was in it. It was around 2AM, and had to wait 30 minutes to be rescued. The elevator at Marina Tower is known to have issues.

Host initially called me a few hours before my arrival to say the elevator wasn’t working. She asked if I wanted to walk the 37 flights of stairs to my room with luggage, or I could cancel. When I said if I cancel at the last minute i will not get refund. I told her she needed to cancel since elevator was broken. She said, it was my choice not to walk the 37 floors to my room. In the meantime, elevator was fixed and I followed through with my reservation. Wifi was not on website or posted in room. I was told to crawl down into the shelf where the “TV BOX” was. Pull it out and look on the back for the network and password. I The view from the room was beautiful. The room was clean. The building was not clean. Am also a host on Booking.com and offer my guests much more assistance than I received

• Milica (8/5): Good apartment if you are planning to rent a car. - Nice view and free parking. We rented a car for a couple of days to go around the island so it was very convenient to have a free parking. Location is OK as well, 20-25 min walk to Waikiki. Elevator - building has 39 floors and 2 small elevators one of which was not working. It usually took us 8-10 minutes to enter or exit the apartment. The apartment itself has everything it needs, but the elevator situation was annoying.
• David (9/5): Marina Tower Waikiki. WOW! - The location was perfect. Being right in the heart of Ala Moana was awesome, and the free parking is a huge plus as well. The space was clean and well appointed. Having a kitchen and fridge was great too, and there was a toaster and coffee making facilities in the cupboard in the kitchen. The washing machine and dryer were great as well. This stay was basically like being in your own home it was so comfortable and convenient. The table only had 2 chairs and we wanted to have company over for dinner but there was nowhere for then to sit, but this was only a minor inconvenience compared to all the positives.
