• Alex A (10/5): The Best hotel in Puerto Williams - This is not only the best hotel in Puerto Williams, but truly one of the best in all of Chile for this type of lodging, and I live in Santiago. In this remote Fin del Mundo, the hotel has created a space of absolute comfort, especially for travelers, hikers, and fishermen. Everything is thoughtfully designed: from the impeccable cleanliness and very comfortable rooms to the excellent quality of the beds, linens, and reliable Wi-Fi. What really stands out is the attention to detail for outdoor guests - including a well-planned system to dry clothes and gear after long days outside, which is essential in one of the rainiest regions of Chile. This was my second stay in seven years, and the recent renovation has been done beautifully. The hotel has only gotten better.

• Oliver (10/5): - Maurice and his team were very friendly, happy to help in Spanish or English. Gave good suggestions for what to do in town and let us leave our bags while we hiked the Dientes de Navarino. The rooms are very clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast is INCLUDED (booking.com doesn't show this but it is) and delicious! Artwork by his son on show is also a lovely token from our trip to the South! Nothing at all.

• Natalia Escárate Andrade (10/5): Excelente alojamiento en Puerto Williams - El alojamiento cuenta con camas cómodas, espacios luminosos y limpios y una excelente atención. Queda cerca del centro, y otorga un rico desayuno con el que partir el día. -

• Agustin (9/5): Amabilidad y remodelación prometedora. - La cama era muy comoda, el desayuno estaba bastante bien, la calefacción, la atención del personal y de Maurice quien ademas tuvo la amabilidad de llevarnos a la barcaza. El unico incoveniete que tuvimos en nuestra habitación y baño ( no asi la de nuestros amigos) no tenia aun closet, una mesa, percha o repisa para acomodar nuestras pertenencias, solo una silla esto debe ser porque el hotel estaba terminando la renovación y faltaban detalles por resolver.

I highly recommend Fío Fío if you plan to spend a few days in Puerto Williams. It is walking distance to the Cerró Bandero trailhead and down town

• Mark (10/5): A warm, welcoming place at the end of the earth. - Maurice was a gracious and very knowledgeable host. 30 years on Navarino Island, an archaeologist and expert birder, English-speaking to boot. His hotel is lovely, with spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed rooms. A high-value oasis in Puerto Williams. Excellent breakfasts, including great pastry made on-site. And Maurice arranged transfer for ourselves and other guests arriving on the late-night ferry from Punta Arenas. We cannot recommend Hotel Fio Fio highly enough. We liked it all.

Makes it a little awkward to get in and out.
• Vy (10/5): Perfect stay with amazing host - Communications with Anna had been so smooth and responsive, she went out of her way to provide me with as much info as possible. Upon arriving at midnight via the Yaghan ferry, Maurice was there to pick us up. The hotel is cosy, the room is clean, spacious and warm. The bed is huge and comfortable. The location of the hotel is in the town so very convenient to walk and explore the town. I cannot stress how nice and accommodating Maurice is. We couldn't do the crossing from Pto Williams to Ushuaia so we had to check out one day earlier, we were ready to pay 50% for the last night but Maurice didn't charge for the last night at all. He was able to drive us to the trail head of the Cerro La Bandera, drop us off at the Omara Park and the Airport during our stay. He has a small section of souvenirs and the art is drawn by his son and his wife's friend, it's beautifully drawn and captures the essence of Pto Williams. We bought a bunch of souvenirs. Highly recommend the hotel! Nothing
• Sue (10/5): A cosy bolt hole in Punto Williams - A cosy boutique bolt hole, beautiful interiors. Anna was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. She gave great recommendations for hikes, where to explore, just wonderful.
