• Jacques (9/5): - L'emplacement à proximité des restaurants de Palekastro. La terrasse individuelle (s'il n'y a pas trop de vent !!). Le calme. Un endroit qu'on a un peu de mal à quitter.
• Adrian (9/5): - Excellent location just over 5 minutes walk into the village. Good size accommodation and very good facilities, which was very clean. Nikos was an attentive, friendly on site caretaker always willing to provide advice. Lagos Studios and Apartments provided exceptional value for money, difficult to think of somewhere I have stayed in the last few years that has provided similar value.. A very minor point is that there is no 'comfy' chairs or sofa in studio, but on flip side good outside terrace with table and chairs.
• Sabine (8/5): - Sehr netter Empfang, schönes Zimmer,sauber,tolle Gegend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, allerdings wäre eine Kaffeemaschine oder ein Kaffeefilter toll. Das Bad ist etwas eng, aber erfüllt seinen Zweck. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt, können die Unterkunft empfehlen.

• Giovanni (9/5): - Appartamento tranquillo in ottima posizione, appena fuori dal paese, ma raggiungibile anche a piedi in pochi minuti. Molto pulito e con cambi frequenti di biancheria, asciugamani e spazzatura. La cucina è dotata di tutto il necessario, manca solo una moka o una macchina espresso per noi italiani :) Molto bella la veranda esterna, riservata e molto comoda anche per cenare. Il personale è molto disponibile e accogliente. Molto consigliato!

Gestore gentile, pulizie giornaliere, cambio biancheria ogni 3 giorni. Zanzariere a tutte le finestre Manca un divano, l'aria condizionata è solo in cucina/soggiorno. Poche pentole

• Theo (8/5): Εκδρομη για windsurfing στην Τεντα και και μπανια στην περιοχη για γενικη ξεκουραση και καλοπεραση. - Ευρυχωρο με τεραστια βεραντα - ομως ηταν εντελως εκτεθιμενη στον ηλιο ολη την ημερα οποτε μπορουσαμε ανετα να κατσουμε εκει μονο για πρωινο και κοντα στην δυση του ηλιου. Υπηρχε υποδομη περγολας αλλα δεν υπηρχαν και τα απαραιτητα καλυματα για να προσφερουν προστασια απο τον ηλιο. Το διπλανο διαμερισμα ειχε τετοια προστασια. Υπηρχαν ολα τα απαραιτητα κουζινικα, η τουαλετα και το ντους καθαρα. Τραπεζακι για να κατσεις και κλιματιστικο (a/c) που χρησιμοποιησαμε ομως μονο οταν δεν κοιμομασταν γιατι δεν μας αρεσει για τον υπνο. Ομως ο ιδιοκτητης, πολυ συνεργασιμος, μας εφερε ανεμιστηρα για τον οποιον ειχαμε ηδη συνεννοηθει πριν το κλεισουμε το διαμερισμα. Ψυγειακι οκ και φουρνακι (που δεν χρησιμοποιηθηκε) και 2 ματια ηλεκτρικα οκ. Τηλεοραση και Wifi ειχε οκ αλλα δεν τα χρησιμοποιησαμε. Το κρεβατι ειχε πολυ καλα φωτακια και απο τις δυο μεριες για να μπορεις να διαβασεις ανετα στο σκοταδι χωρις να ενοχλεις. Μεγαλη ντουλαπα για να κρεμασεις ρουχα κλπ που ομως δεν χρησιμοποιησαμε για τα 3 βραδια που μειναμε. Επισης, πολυ συνεργασιμος ο ενοικιαστης γιατι ενω δεν ειχαν ανεμιστήρα μας αγορασαν για να μας εξυπηρετήσουν! Οι παραλιες της Χιονας, του Κουρεμενου, της Τεντας και της Ιτανου που επισκεφθηκαμε ηταν ολες πολυ ομορφες. Την παραλια της Κεδρομουρης αν την ξεραμε θα πηγαιναμε να την εξερευνησουμε. Το διπλο στρωμα στο κρεβατι δεν ηταν καλο - ουτε πολυ αναπαυτικο αλλα το μεγαλυτερο προβλημα ηταν πως μετακινούνταν με την παραμικρη κινηση μεχρι που ανακαλυψαμε πως το στρωμα ηταν καπως μικροτερο απο το κρεβατι πλαισιο και περισσευε χωρος μεταξυ διπλου στρωματος και πλαισιου που τελικα τον κλεισαμε με κουβερτες και ετσι λυθηκε σε μεγαλο βαθμο το προβλημα. Ειχαμε ζητησει αρχικα χωριστα κρεβατια αλλα τελικα αφου δεν ηταν αυτο εφικτο το δεχτηκαμε αφου μας ειπε ο ιδιοκτητης οτι το διπλο κρεβατι ηταν μεγαλο. Τελικα ηταν ενα απλο διπλο με το παραπανω προβλημα στο στρωμα. Επισης το κρεβατι το ιδιο ειχε προβληματα στα ξυλα απο κατω απο το στρωμα που το κρατουσαν. Πολλες φορες ανοιγαν με τρομακτικο θορυβο και επεφτε στο πατωμα η μια πλευρα. Τα ξυλα της περγκολας που αναφερθηκε πιο πανω ειχαν ξεβιδωθει/λασκαρει απο τον αερα και στα αρκετα μποφορ κουνουσαν πολυ. Το a/c (airconditioning) εκανε καποιο θορυβο που ομως μια και δεν το χρησιμοποιησαμε στην ωρα του υπνου δεν ηταν τοσο προβλημα. Το a/c δουλευε καλα κατα τις ωρες που δεν κοιμομασταν. Το παρκιγκ ενω ειχε αρκετο χωρο δεν ειχε και πολυ σκια που θα θελαμε γιατι ειχαμε εξοπλισμο για windsurfing φορτωμενο στην σκεπη του αυτοκινητου που θελαμε να προστατεψουμε απο τον ηλιο οσο το δυνατον. Σιγουρα η ολη κακη εμπειρια με το στρωμα και το κρεβατι αμαυρωσαν την εξαιρετικη κατα τα αλλα εικονα. Προφανως ο αναπαυτικος υπνος ειναι πολυ σημαντικο μερος της φιλοξενιας και των διακοπων, Αν το φτιαξει μελλοντικα δεν θα εχω κανενα λογο να μην ανεβασω το σκορ στα 9 και αν σκεπαστει και η περγκολα τοτε θα εβαζα 10+.
• UGO (4/5): non ne vale la pena - posizione dell'hotel era centrale ma tranquilla, ben accessibile con grande parcheggio. ottimo il wifi. l'appartamento era al piano terra di fronte alla scala, di notte o usi l'aria condizionata o altrimenti nessuna privacy. Anche il proprietario non voleva che aprissimo le porte e finestre per far arieggiare l'ambiente. Il proprietario è entrato nell'appartamento senza motivo in nostra assenza.
• Sigitas (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, close to the town center, you can walk in the evening. There is an opportunity to walk around the area, admire the views of the area from the balcony with a sea view. Well-equipped room, bathroom, kitchen - it was a very, very pleasant atmosphere.

Large parking lot, large terrace. Quiet, rural area. All facilities: air conditioning, wifi, kitchen. Very nice staff. We are very pleased with our stay. Nothing.

• Marko (9/5): Happy to choose this hotel for our stay at Palekastro - Everything! Nikos is a very nice guy, always ready to help. He gave us the best room (Nr. 4 in the 1st floor, with a big terrace and a sea view), and cleaned it every day very carefully. Water pressure is perfect, hot water always available, air condition works well, room is spacious. There are noises in the night (as mentioned in other reviews for this hotel and the others in Palekastro), but definitely not so disturbing that we couldn't sleep well (with the doors and windows closed, of course). If we manage to come back to Palekastro again, we will definitely stay here! If you are not looking for a 5 star hotel, I recommend you to give it a try. WiFi is not fast and not stable at all (I've been disconnected many times, and it took forever to load each page...). I'm sure an inexpensive WiFi repeater in the 1st floor would resolve this problem. Also the stove works a bit strange (one plate doesn't seem to work at all, and the other one doesn't seem to turn off completely when switched off), but we've found a way to use it as needed (switched it on with a breaker, and off when not in use anymore). Alltogether minor issues only, as at many other accomodations on Crete.
• Clarke (6/5): Disappointing. - The location is perfect and the apartment is large. I stayed in apartment 4. The bed was very uncomfortable. It wasn’t too soft or hard, but the coils of the mattress pressed against my back for the three hours of sleep I managed to get that night. I wrote to the owner and received no response. The next day around noon, the property manager advised he could move me to a new apartment. Unfortunately I had already booked another place or I would have given it another chance, especially since no refund was offered. Better communication with the guests and a new mattress in apartment 4 would be useful goals for this business this season.
• Florin (10/5): A great stay - We were very satisfied with this accommodation. It was clean, in a quiet out of town location but still just 10 minutes on foot from the village center (shops, restaurants, bars etc.). The reception was manned during the day and we could see them taking care of the properties plants and live fence on a daily basis. Free parking available and very conveniently located right in the yard. All the appliances we used worked. I would definitely stay in the same place again if given the chance and recommend it to others.

• Fernanda (10/5): Beautiful place to stay and drive around - The apartments are located near the city, though not precisely in the city center (just a 5-minute distance from the center). It's lovely to explore the town by foot, and all the restaurants are conveniently nearby. Additionally, you have like 3 supermarkets situated in close proximity to the apartments. A beach is also accessible, a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk away — please be aware that walking involves using the road, so be extra careful. The flat was really nice! we like everything

Spacious room, balcony, fairly well equipped kitchen, free parking inside the property. A Nespresso coffee machine in the room. For the one provided it was difficult to find the capsules
