- joseph (10/5): will be coming back in the summer months - so from the first day I arrived I was greeted by one of the staff members and once everything was explained I settled in. The next morning after filling in the breakfast sheet from the night before I came down and was greeted by another member of staff and he made sure I had everything and more for breakfast have to say it was a fantastic breakfast. Then come the evening had dinner again was a fantastic dinner and settled for the evening. Overall I can't recommend this place highly enough lovely location was never too far for places I was needing to go to. I choose the place as it was near to grosmont for the flying Scotsman. The staff was brilliant always catered for my needs and would like to thank the staff for the lovely welcome and stay with them not a dislike but before booking for a hotel room make sure you ring them prior to booking if you wish to have dinner with them. As the first day I came up I didn't realise how busy they can get which that day they were full. So was unable to have dinner that evening but if you ain't bothered by that then its worth the wait when you can.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Brilliant place to stay . - Beautiful large room absolutely spotless with lovely view. Great shower lovely and hot. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Evening meal was excellent and great size portions. Very reasonably priced drinks. Very friendly welcoming staff. Pathway from the car park takes you up to the Cleveland way. Will definitely stay again.

We had dinner and breakfast, which was really good and very good value for money. All staff were so helpful, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended. Would 100% stay again.
- Graham (10/5): Beautiful. Highly recommended - The Tiger in was so hospitable throughout our stay, bending over backwards to accommodate us. Then rooms were spacious and all equipped to include ensure showers and TV. In each room. The stay was enhanced by two beautiful room meals at exceptional value
The bar set up a tab and allowed us to book everything to our room
While is was not a sea view then scene from the bedroom window was beautiful, overlooking corn fields and beyond
The pub was quiet at night and even though 10 miles from places like whitby was still 8n easy driving Nothing. Could not have asked for a better hosed or location
- Julie (10/5): - Excellent breakdown, room was lovely, had an excellent evening meal , staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough would highly recommend
- caz (9/5): -
- Elaine (10/5): Lovely night at the Tiger Inn Easington .Really good Sunday lunch - Rooms were lovely comfortable modern and clean Nothing
- Byron (8/5): Great stay and I will make this my go to when attending business in the area! - Warm welcome with swift check in and then walked to the room (special touch you don't see anymore). Great job Gav!
Dinner was spectacular. The Lady recommended the chicken parmesan and this was a great choice, a must try when in the area. I never asked the young ladies name that served me but she was brilliant and attentive, and this all done with enthusiasm and a smile. Thank you!
Breakfast was a great way of starting the day. The portions size was decent and bacon cooked just perfectly. Thank you to the Gentlemen that made and served breakfast.
All staff was great and made the stay even better.
The hotel is in beautiful surroundings that warrants you to sit and enjoy the sunset with a cold one in the hand.
The rooms are modern, clean and spacious with everything you could need. There is nothing to really complain about. Only one comment; The noise of the darts hitting the dartboard in the bar area echoes to the room. Lucky this was not an all night event. Might be an idea to move the dartboard to another area in the bar.
- David (10/5): A top notch accommodation at a reasonable price. - Excellent on all levels, food was well cooked with a broad menu.
The room was well presented and very comfortable.

- Mark (8/5): Great place to stay to explore the Yorkshire coast. - Well located for trips to Saltburn, Whitby etc. if you don’t want to drive, there’s a bus stop by the inn. Good sized room with large shower room and comfortable bed. Freshly made food in the restaurant and a very helpful host. Nothing.
- Ebrahim (9/5): Good value hotel - Excellent breakfast, sunday lunch N/a

The food was excellent and the breakfast delicious . Our dog Ruby was also made very welcome, a dog bed in the room and dog treats . We stayed in room 2 , very tastefully furnished, comfortable , and a lovely hot shower . If we lived nearer this pub would definitely be our local . Just wish we could have stayed longer . Nothing

- Paul (10/5): Absolutely wonderful experience staying at The Tiger Inn - Just had a lovely weekend between Staithes and Whitby . Had a great added bonus of having a fantastic stay at The Tiger Inn. Jen and I were met immediately with such friendly and helpful staff and the owner Arron. They were all so pleasant and helpful. The room was exceptional, very high standard and immaculate with an en-suite of same top quality. Room and en-suite where very spacious with all you needed, and with the added bonus of fantastic countryside views.we had an evening meal, which again was of excellent quality, with great service and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. In the morning we experienced the same, a fabulous breakfast, more than enough of choice and quantity and the same great service and a lovely chat with the owner Arron. We’ve stayed in many hotels and guesthouses and can honestly say we cant think of one thing we didn’t like about our stay at The Tiger inn.
- Brian (9/5): -
- Lynsey (10/5): Fantastic, ultra clean and so comfortable. - Everything. The room was spotless, the bathroom spacious and again, spotless. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a fantastic selection available. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I could live there! There was nothing to dislike
- Karen (10/5): -
- Pauline (10/5): Hidden Gem of a lovely B&B. - The personal touches of tea making facilities which included yorkshire teabags,
Kenco coffee sachets & posh biscuits.
Rooms spotless bathroom lovely & clean & I am very particular. Bed was comfy & clean.
There is a fabulous choice of breakfast including cerals, croissants, very fresh fruit & a lovely cooked breakfast with choice of tea, coffee or 2 juices.
The staff was very helpful & friendly & nothing was to much trouble.

The staff were all really helpful and ensured we were happy with everything. Good breakfast with choice of continental or full English. Food in the restaurant was also very well cooked, good choice and reasonably priced. Only one bedside table and lamp. Nowhere to sit only the bed.

- Brian (10/5): A visit spoiled by illness but excellent staff made me as comfy as possible. - The location was perfect for our needs. We were visiting the area to attend the Staithe's Art Festival weekend & to avoid the crowds & car parking were able to use local transport to attend just 5 mins away. The rooms had recently been refurbished and ours was just above the bar but despite the bar being very busy & being adjacent to a busy road the room was surprisingly very quiet & peaceful. The food was excellent. I was disappointed to be ill during our visit & had to spend a day in the room but fortunately it was very quiet & the staff couldn't do enough to aid my recovery which explains why I rated them excellent.
- Alison (10/5): A cosy, friendly traditional pub run by wonderful welcoming staff. The room was spotless and the food so good we ate the -

- Steve (10/5): -
- Ron (9/5): -
- Meredith (10/5): Five star service & accommodation, highly recommend - We were blown away by how great this place was. We’ve done a lot of travelling and it’s the first time we’ve ever been personally taken to our room and had details explained. We really appreciated that extra effort. The room was newly renovated and finished very nicely. Felt more like our bedroom at home rather than a hotel room. Loved the elephant theme. The bed was really comfortable and the shower hot and had awesome water pressure which was a really nice change from most places we’ve stayed in the Uk. We were surprised how quiet the room was, we couldn’t hear anything from the pub downstairs even though it was quite busy and Friday night. Breakfast was made to order at our chosen time and was very good & plentiful. The owner and team went over and above from start to finish to make sure we were happy. Just a shame we couldn’t stay for dinner as we already had other plans for the night, the pub had a great atmosphere and I’m sure the meals were fantastic. We loved everything about the Tiger Inn and would recommend to everyone.
- Delahunty (10/5): Wonderful place to stay - Wonderful place to stop.
Aaron was more very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us.
The room was clean, spacious, and well decorated.
We ate once in the restaurant, during our stay, and the staff we friendly and, again, very welcoming. The food was excellent and most enjoyable.
The location for my wife and I was good, as we wanted somewhere quiet, yet close enough to get to places we wanted to visit.
I can not recommend the Tiger Inn enough for somewhere to stop, or just visit for a drink and something to eat.
Once again, Aaron, thank you for your hospitality and home see you soon. Nothing
- Michelle (8/5): Felt like hotel but with the personnel touch - Lovely room , friendly staff highly recommend N/a
- Lindiloo (10/5): Great value & lovely room - Breakfast was good quality and plentiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. N/a

- Cooper (9/5): Well worth the visit and just what we needed. - We really enjoyed our two night break at The Tiger Inn. Beautiful bedroom, comfortable beds and pillows with a fabulous shower suite. The only addition I would have made is the provision of bath sheets rather than bath towels to enable one to wrap up after stepping out of the shower. Nevertheless it was still all very enjoyable. The breakfasts are excellent - quality produce, good portions and cooked to perfection, what's not to love ? The evening meal in the restaurant was well worth having, again the portions were huge but all beautifully cooked and presented and the staff were more than attentive. The bar provided a selection of excellent real ales along with very friendly bar staff. All in all a great place to stay and we'll definitely return - the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly to deal with at all times and nothing was too much trouble. The added special touch for us was returning to our room to a bottle of bubbly on ice, complete with card, to celebrate our wedding anniversary - a wonderful surprise and the following morning a table adorned with decorations and glasses of Bucks Fizz to wash down the gorgeous breakfast ! The only thing I can add is as mentioned above about providing the bath sheets - but it seriously isn't a game changer and wouldn't stop us returning - which we will be doing.
- Kathleen (10/5): Lovely - Great place with superb dinner and breakfast. Rooms look like new and staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Nothing
- Margaret (9/5): It was ideal for our purpose. - Very good plenty of choice. Staff friendly. Nothing all was good.
- Tracey (10/5): - Everything. Perfect Leaving!
- Alexander (10/5): - A fantastic breakfast, the staff were very friendly and helpful
- Lesley (10/5): -
- Ruth (10/5): Would definitely stay again! - This is the first time we stayed here, and it was because I was doing an author event in Loftus. Lovely room, proper sized kettle and tap you could fit it under to fill! Lovely themed decoration, very welcoming staff who couldn't do enough to make us welcome and happy. Evening meal, delicious, great service and one person down. Asked for soft poached eggs for breakfast, and they were perfect. Doesn't often happen! Would definitely stay again. Great parking. Think the broccoli was airfried, so hard stem. Best not airfry this veg.
This is a very minor point.
- STEPHEN (8/5): A pleasant experience and I would recommend the hotel to others - Breakfast was excellent It was a bit untidy outside
Rien
- Collins (9/5): Great room, great food, - Great Sunday lunch
- Stephen (10/5): -
