- Brooke (9/5): Great location, lovely building, and super kind staff. - I loved the old/historic feel of the building. I loved how cozy it was and the staff was super friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. Also, the location was unmatched, only 5 minutes from Mad River and about 7 from Sugarbush! Because it is an older building, you can hear everything. This wasn't a problem for me because I was exhausted after skiing, so I would have slept through anything. However, if you are a light sleeper, I would keep this in mind.
- Dave (10/5): Loved it and hope to come back and bring others - History, friendliness of hosts, proximity to skiing Nothing
- Emma (9/5): Cozy and convenient location. - Very clean and cozy room. Very friendly hosts. Not a dislike mainly a fact: walls are thin so can hear other guests easily.

- Patrick (9/5): If you want to experience the NE like a local, you can’t go wrong with “The Griff”. The owners are very responsive. We h - We wanted to stay in a vintage New England style location and the Griff Inn did not disappoint! Some people might not like how close the forest is but we loved it. We could see the beautiful leaves from our bedroom!

- Adam (7/5): Overall it was a okay experience. - Owner was nice and friendly and made it very adamant he wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. Comfortable, clean, and a good space to spend night for me and my wife. Of course I can only speak from my wife and I’s experience. A few things. In our opinion it was pricey for what we received. If there was something else available we would have stayed elsewhere solely due to the price of a night. Walls are EXTREMELY thin. My wife woke up in middle of night to the people snoring in the room next to us and if you want to sleep in good luck as soon as 7am hit we had the people in the room next to us casually talking and can hear every word due to the very thin walls. No AC in the rooms themselves. I’m sure the inn has AC so what I mean by “no AC” is that there wasn’t a AC window unit considering it got hot in our room with the windows wide open as soon as we got up to our room. It did cool down eventually due to the windows but a window AC unit would have been nice.
- Xianting (7/5): Nice in general - Clean and wooden floor, house host was very helpful and chatty, breakfast No air conditioner, close to road, noisy at night, one wooden piece of the floor was loosened and made a lot of noise when we stepped on

- Paul (8/5): Quiet, clean place to stay in rural Vt - It was an Inn so quiet It’s in a rural area, no AC no real food nearby.
- Rich (8/5): Very good - Good location at fair price. Nothing
- Wayne (3/5): Simply lacks the comfort one expects in todays B&B, in this case the price is over rated for the acc - Location Room, air conditioning on request, breakfast consists of boxed cereal
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruce (9/5): Superb - Location is fantastic. Just a few minutes from the ski resort.
Room was small but cute and spotless. The owners/hosts were super nice and helpful when i discovered that I left my cell phone charger home. It snowed that night and the owner shoveled the walks and the space around the cars so we could access our car easily without having to tromp through the snow.

- Rosemary (10/5): It was a great to stay at the Griff. Beautiful views out the windows at leaves changing and wonderf - Having the warm fireplace going in the living room added to our comfort as when we came in after going out to dinner it was dripping rain and pretty cool out! We love orange juice or cranberry juice and none was provided.
- Sherry (9/5): Superb - Loved the character of the old house. It was beautiful and the decor was beautiful. It was inviting and homey. The chair in the room was very uncomfortable. There were some little things that needed repair but it didn't really affect us.
- Susan (7/5): It was a quaint inn. I would probably get a bigger room. Ours was tight for 2 people. - The owners were very nice and super responsive. The house was very clean. Awesome that our room had a private bathroom. Pillows - owner fixed immediately.
- Gr (8/5): Very good - The inn is a beautiful old house. The room was very clean, and comfortable. The hotel is located at the side of the road, so you hear the cars passing by. The good thing is that the road does not have a lot of traffic.
- Carolyne (8/5): Very good -
- Krishna (8/5): Very good - This is a decent farm style rural home stays. Felt like home. The entrance and the surroundings could be better kept, it's giving a rustic feeling, but could be maintained better. Overall I don't have any complaints, it was a pleasant stay.
- Jeff (9/5): Great Place, Great Value -

- Debbie (10/5): Our stay was wonderfully relaxing. Just what we needed. I loved the antique furniture, and the decor - Brady and Else are the perfect hosts. The Inn was spotless the grab and go breakfast was a perfect morning snack and fresh fruit and yogurt were nice a nice touch! The inn is very quaint and the town of Waitsfield is very interesting in a good way. Loved our stay. This is our 2nd time staying here and will definitely be back. The fact that we didnt book for another day.
- Roxanne (9/5): The Inn was just as we expected and we would stay again if in the area. - The location was perfect, an easy drive to the larger towns and tucked away in between the mountains. Our room and private bathroom was clean, quiet and comfortable. Nothing, it was fine just as it is.
- Jessamyn (10/5): Cozy, charming, clean, and close to ski areas. - Cozy, clean, charming, and close to ski areas. The breakfast was nice. Great coffee!
- James (9/5): Wonderful inn, location and hospitality. Perfect for those that eschew cookie-cutter rooms/condos. - Inn is well maintained and full of charm. The owners were terrific hosts. (Minor issue) It would be a good idea to lubricate the hinges on the doors. The squeaks from the doors was the loudest noise we heard.
- Demoleas (8/5): A quaint "Vermont Inn". We enjoyed our two night stay. - Quiet location that allowed for a good nights rest for our ski trip.
- Jonathan (8/5): Disappointed about breakfast; everything else fine… - Location, hospitality, charming feel For the price something other the fruit, cold cereal, and microwave oatmeal should be provided
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Jessica (10/5): Such a lovely stay in a classic New England Inn with charming victorian features. - The Inn was so charming! It had a classic New England interior and the staff was so nice! They had a cute little breakfast bar set up and hot tea whenever we wanted. The rooms were a little small but we didn't mind. The inn is in an old New England farmhouse so that was expected!
- Katy (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (9/5): Beautiful foliage trip! Loved the Inn and the Mad River Valley. - Charming inn at a great location. Nothing
- David (4/5): Very disappointing not correctly described on booking.com website - Inadequate breakfast snack grab and go not proper breakfast
Clean linens We have already sent a message regarding this property stating:
No breakfast included but snack grab and go option
Room all floors uneven to the extent that we felt we were unsteady on our feet
The bed was on blocks because of slopping floor
- Lore (6/5): Adequate accommodations for a wedding weekend - Charming old Inn (1912) with lots of character and comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and informative. Great location between Waterbury and Waitsfield. Bathroom did have a blow-dryer. Fully booked. Rooms are small and very noisy. Finicky thermostat in the room. Room looked clean but a pair of underwear left in the bathroom???? Bathroom fixtures were child height including mirrors. "Grab and Go" breakfast extremely limited and not replenished, last folks down in the morning get whatever is left. Staff was never seen after check in. To their defense, the Inn keeper was in the hospital having a baby, with a "fill in" keeper.
- Lisa (7/5): Lovely property warm hosts - Welcoming host, lovely property and nice bedroom - liked coffee machine etc People using microwave at early dawn and wooden floors meant woken up numerous times - may just have been the room we were in was nearest stairs but the noise isn’t hotels fault it’s other guests
- Tom (8/5): Very good - The location was good for us since we were on our way up to Stowe. The room was very clean and comfortable.
- Barbara (7/5): Liked our stay but haven‘t slept well - Very friendly welcome, clean and cozy The bed was too soft and creaking.
- Jigarshah (8/5): It was good but need some improvement with adding some hot or bakery items. - There was all require facilities available. Bed was not comfortable.
- Harold (4/5): it wasn't worth the money. - bed was comfortable. room too small. no place to put anything. not even a paper cup to use. broken shade. temperature chilly. so-called breakfast was scant.
- Ed (9/5): Great stay, location, price and the hosts themselves. - Elise and Brady, the hosts, were wonderful! They were warm and welcoming, providing answers to any questions we had: about the Griff Inn, Waitsfield, highway 100, restaurants in the area as well as their story. The bathroom/ shower a little tight, but we made it work.
- Ronald (9/5): Superb -
- Shelby (10/5): Gorgeous place with lovely staff. - I'm obsessed with this place. The decor was amazing, the room and bed exceeded any expectation I could have had. The staff was extremely kind and just overall I want to come back here for the stay itself! Great hiking nearby and lots of great restaurant options. I'm not exaggerating, nothing could have been better. I could see how parking might get tight, but we had no problem at all.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Jean (9/5): Superb - Really cute inn in a great location. Proprietor was super nice. Steep steps to access room.
- Dave (8/5): It served its purpose for us - a nice place for a stopover on our travels - I loved the quaint atmosphere of an historical Inn. The coffee and grab-and-go breakfast was satisfying. An air conditioner could have helped in the warm weather, but the fan provided was sufficient.
- Ellen (8/5): We enjoyed our stay at the Griff Inn - very clean, very friendly and helpful hosts Breakfast was basic. Expected more from a "Bed and Breakfast". Also the twin bed was not comfortable
- Kristen (10/5): Simple and relaxing. - The owners of the property were very accommodating and helpful. The property was very clean and comfortable. We will hopefully be back when Vermont recovers from the flooding events. N/A
- Andreas (8/5): Very good - + cold breakfast included
+ free and easily accessible parking
+ super friendly and accommodating hosts
+ fast Wi-Fi - road noise when windows are opened
- Kaja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (8/5): Very nice vintage house. Comfortable for a short stay. - Breakfast and coffee were very good. Room was a little cramped - even for just 2 of us. (Originally my 18 year old daughter was supposed to be with us, but it was good that she wasn't staying in the room with us.)Shower was great pressure and nice and warm but the shower head was aimed too high for a short person like me. Couldn't be adjusted lower.
- Singtokaew (9/5): Superb -
- Alex (10/5): Great location and nice hosts. - It was great! Great Coffee machinne, fridge, TV. Location is perfect for skiing at Sugarbush
- Alison (9/5): Superb - Else is very friendly and quick to offer great recommendations for dinner. Location was minutes from Sugarbush. Room was comfortable and very quiet.
- Daniil (10/5): Exceptional -
