• joan (10/5): Welcome to Sri Lanka - Excellent first stop in Sri Lanka. Got the flavor of a local community, but easy walk to touristy beach area. Spa at Ayur Ayur (Across the road and sister hotel)was great, and all staff wonderful! Staying at White Sail was like a boutique hotel. Wonderful!
• Jacobus (10/5): Fantastisch en wij gaan er de laatste dagen van onze reis weer naar toe. - De kamer was in een oud gebouw en wel aan renovatie toe. Maar toch een fijne kamer. Het “ hoofdhotel” ligt aan de overkant en daar verbleven wij steeds. Daar was ook het restaurant, het zwembad, het Ayurveda centrum etc. Hele fijne ligging. Naast het Hamilton kanaal en vlakbij zee en het centrum van Negombo. Hel personeel was super aardig en het ontbijt en diner waren heerlijk. Er was elke avond live muziek.

• joan (9/5): Wonderful stay, highly recommended - The locale and gardens were wonderful. It felt like a boutique hotel where all the guests met each other. Being able to use the facilities at Ayur Ayur made our visit perfect. The old town Negombo was an easy bus ride away.

C’était exactement ce dont nous avions besoin : un personnel au petit soin, une piscine très agréable, de la tranquillité, un restaurant sur place, un service de lessive… de quoi nous enlever tous nos tracas de la tête et nous permettre de profiter ! Nous conseillons très chaudement ce lieu !!

• Nic (7/5): Excellent pit stop close to the airport in a nice part of Negombo - Very affordable, great staff. Mr Sugath was a very gracious host, even though we didn’t arrive until 1am because our flight was delayed. He did a great job of making sure our water was topped up and we were well looked after. The fact that you can use the facilities in the hotel across the road was a definite perk. The location is also very good, close to the beach with some truly excellent restaurants nearby. The swimming pool across the road wasn’t the cleanest and, despite catering for us, the breakfast options could be improved for vegans with better labelling.

Booking included use of the spa's pool, delicious continental breakfast, and a massage. The villa had a kitchen with fridge, which we appreciated. Nothing.
• Nathalie (8/5): - Struttura carina e la stanza essenziale ma ben organizzata con bollitore con the e caffè. Il massaggio incluso di mezz’ora era uno dei migliori ricevuti in Sri Lanka. Siamo tornate apposta qualche giorno dopo nonostante non stessimo più in quell’hotel. Ci avevano dato una camera al piano terra ma era piena di zanzare e puzzava di muffa. Su nostra richiesta ci hanno poi dato una stanza la primo piano, piccola ma con tutto il necessario e asciutta.

• Анжела (10/5): - Добрый день, Забронировали номер в а/п Домодедово буквально за пару часов до вылета. Подтверждение пришло очень оперативно. Отель предложил нам трансфер из а/п. Мы согласились. Прилетели в Коломбо, нас встретили,привезли Негомбо (16мин. от а/п) в целости и сохранности. Заселили в номер уже в 23:00 без всякой бумажной волокиты. Я просто показала паспорт и расписалась. По запросу нам принесли большую бутылку воды,а также предложили сендвичи несмотря на то,что все везде (имею ввиду кухню) уже спали. Сейчас пару слов об отеле. Как я поняла, отель состоит из старого и нового зданий. В старом корпусе Ayur Ayur White Sail Villa 3 номера. Ну или я столько насчитала). Здание действительно переносит в атмосферу старого цейлона. Очень уютно,все в дереве и зелени. По-домашнему как-то). Дом совсем небольшой. Возможно, они с него начинали,а теперь расширили масштабы..но это все догадки. Через дорогу (проезжую часть) стоит Ayur Ayur Ayurveda Retreat. Тут номеров много. Намного больше бетона, кирпича, хотя дерево и зелень тоже никуда не деваются. Вообще территории у отеля нет,можно сказать. Но они каким-то образом умудрились сделать так,что при входе,чувствуешь,что зашёл в райский сад))). Там и качели, и аллея из зеленой чего-то и пруд с рыбами через который ты идешь по мостику прямо в дом. Еще один пруд с лягушками и рыбами в другой части отеля и лианы и лодка в центре двора (стилизованная деталь),отель же прямо на канале расположен. Так вот, в новой части отеля уже и бассейн и ресторан и спа). Гости той первой части,где,кстати,дешевле проживание, могут свободно пользоваться благами этой части. Т.е. на включённый в стоимость завтрак вы идёте в новую часть, и в бассейн тоже. Мы забронили сначала 2 ночи,т.к. планировали ехать дальше. Но продлили проживание на 3ю ночь,потому что ну очень там уютно и комфортно было). Персонал любезно пошёл нам навстречу и даже переселили нас в номер в новой части за старую цену.

• Mya (1/5): THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM. - SCAM ALERT, breakfast was good until they scammed me that morning. SCAM ALERT.!!THE MANAGER told me my boat tour would be 1500 LKR (confirmed the price 3 times- twice with manager before and one time after with staff) but when I was there the dude told me 10500LKR and had to pay him not the hotel. They put me in an uncomfortable and dangerous situation as a female solo traveler because I did not have enough. When I told the hotel, they said it was 15,000LKR and tried charging me again. I asked guest to make sure and they told 2 people it was 750LKR. They should be ashamed for scamming people and willingly putting me in a dangerous situation, they did not apologize. Don’t not book and do not recommend.

• alessio (10/5): - Ottima e tranquilla sistemazione in una villetta dependance collegata all'hotel affiliato proprio di fronte, attraversando la strada, del quale si usufruiscono degli stessi servizi, quali piscina e colazione, oltre ad un bellissimo massaggio incluso nella tariffa in offerta. Personale disponibile, cortese ed efficiente da hotel 5 stelle. Colazione improntata al cibo locale, ma non mancano omelette fatte al momento o marmellate e frutta fresca. Piscina pulita e rinfrescante sotto il verde. Qualche ragnatela di troppo in bagno. Camera un po' piccola, ma per il prezzo non possiamo certo contestare.

• Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - Very very nice staff, from the driver to the massage lady, first stop after arriving in the country and everybody made me feel right at home and looked after. Very extensive breakfast and nice facilities at their other hotel across the street. Def worth a visit!

• Maeva (9/5): Superb - I stayed at this guesthouse twice. Once when I arrived in the country and again for my last. My first stay was absolutely wonderful. I love the location, the friendly staff, and the access to the Ayurvedic complex across the street (where I enjoyed all my treatments with Shamali), the pool, and a fantastic restaurant. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind. I was so impressed that I decided to return for my final night in the country. Unfortunately, my second stay was a bit disappointing because of the room (n°5). I couldn’t sleep well because of a freezer in the neighboring kitchen, or perhaps something else, but something vibrated every 20 minutes making so much noise. On top of that, the shower was full of sand, and the room was plagued by flies. I’m truly sad to end my experience like this because I love this place.

Overall, Ayur Ayur White Sail Villa is a true gem for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with great amenities. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blend of relaxation, great food, and excellent service!
• Dassanayake (10/5): Wonderful stay! - We had an incredible stay at the Villa White Sail. The villa was perfect, offering a comfy atmosphere and a commendable interior architecture. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. There’s a small yet beautiful garden with flowers for relaxation. Ayur Ayur Retreat is its sister hotel which is just opposite and we were allowed to use all its facilities including the pool.The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt at home. Overall, it was a memorable experience and highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious getaway.
