- Susan (8/5): - Central position. Comfortable room and nice pub. Room security was good with code to enter main door and key safe.
- Patricia (8/5): Well located pub rooms, don’t miss the breakfast! - The breakfast was outstanding. Way better than a standard full english breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location in the centre of Pershore with grounds leading down to the river and with parking. We stayed during the recent heat wave and the room was hot, albeit a fan was provided. Probably fine when it’s cooler.
- Peter (4/5): Barely adequate, rather disappointing. - Good location. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Plenty of free parking. Wifi code in email was wrong, we only discovered the correct one in the room folder when it was too late. An industrial kitchen extractor fan right outside our window. It was left on all night the first night we were there. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine. Although we knew beforehand that there was no breakfast available, other than the expensive Angel Hotel, the cafes in Pershore open too late. We had to drive to find breakfast. Ultimately, a disappointing stay.

- karen (9/5): - Good lication lovely room good bed
- Karin (7/5): Ok for one night - Easy to find and parked no problem Grubby looking pillowcases. Very steep stairs to rooms, which our dog only just managed. Plastic plants. Very soft mattress
- Tony (10/5): This was a last minute booking that was perfect in every way, amazing value for money too. - shabby chic
spotlessly clean
great room
lashings of hot water
nothing not to like! N/A

- Donna (8/5): - Excellent location, plenty of free parking, comfortable room, large bathroom, warm WiFi didn’t work. Long VERY dark corridor with only one small lamp to light it.
Don’t bank on being able to get food in the pub attached-we made point of checking with bar staff in the afternoon what time last orders for food would be. Arrived later in evening to order and told kitchen had closed. Plenty of other options in town though.
- Charla (4/5): Short stay, super staff. - Excellent location. Handy for the local area/ businesses and travel to Stratford upon Avon. Self check in/check out was easy. The room was a good size. Large towels, plenty of tea and coffee on the room tea tray. Ear plugs provided. Provision of an electric fan. The staff in the pub restaurant were lovely. (We had a meal there on the first night of our stay) Lots of local independent eateries/shops allowed us to support the local economy during our stay. Unfortunately I didn't interrogate the reviews thoroughly enough before making the booking which is my own fault. Had I read past the first few I think that I would have found an alternative option. With the room being above the kitchen/ near the smoking area, we couldn't open the windows as the aroma of food was overwhelming. The radiators were not on but it was an incredibly warm room. The sound system went on for a while on the second night, thankfully it wasn't too late as it would have interrupted our sleep if it had. The room seems a little on the dark side due to the colour. The overhead light is too intrusive and the bedside lights not adequate for reading. The room looked a little worn/ in need of a good clean - Bathroom wall splashed with old toothpaste, lots of dust and dust webs. Only cosmetic but it makes a difference to the first impression. The bed seems a little small for the room, could possibly have been what I am used to but as a double it seemed a little narrow. The stale food smell that lingers in the room as a result of its position could be alleviated by a good quality reed diffuser/ aroma stone in the room, these can be refilled/ reused to be made sustainable/ cost effective.
- Colleen (7/5): - No breakfast available No internet connection in the rooms

- John (8/5): Lovely short stay in a location convenient for all amenities. - Location is great, close to town and all amenities. Parking is easy and secure. Nice beer garden backing onto the river. Comfortable room. Good food in the pub - breakfast and evening meal enjoyed. One small gripe is what we think is air con or kitchen vent coming on in the morning. Not has disturbing as you might think but was noticeable - probably because right under our window. Wouldn't put me off going back though.
- Andy (8/5): 1 night stay - I deal for Breedon Hill - Just what was required, clean tidy room with all facilities required, plenty of Tea, coffee & milk. Quiet room with no disturbances. Good Pub food downstairs, Had a problem with the code for check in not being sent buy this was sorted very quickly. Shower head was loose and had to tighten to get it working properly. If not for these 2 fairly minor things I would have rated as excellent.
- Peter (10/5): Need to find an excuse to stay again. - The room was relaxing and I had a great nights sleep, a warm room and comfortable bed, what more can you want.
The setup means you may not see any any staff unless you need to, auto entry etc. Breakfast can be had down in the pub with a discount, unable to comment as I had no need to but had a drink in the evening and found staff and atmosphere very pleasant.
- Nicholas (10/5): Great value for money - Great location. Clean and tidy room, just what was needed for visiting family in the area.
- Gwyn (7/5): It was an in and out with no frills stay - There was no breakfast There could have been breakfast
- sarah (8/5): -
- Joanne (7/5): - Food

- Jose (5/5): Shame about the above as pershore was very nice - Did not have breakfast Being woken at 5am by builders who spentthe next 5 hours working on the drains and kitchen below the bedroom window on the first morning!!! Also the shower in room 2 was so hot that it could not be used. Was unable to change the temperature due to the thermostat being broken and also towel rail not being fixed to wall and fell over
- Jannette (6/5): Good location, we were visiting family in the area. - Good location, easy collection of keys.
Steep stairs to access accommodation floor.
Strange decor of two clocks adjacent to each other, but they had both stopped..no idea of significance?
Comfortable bed, but hot as winter weight duvet plus blankets.
Noise of extraction fan as kitchen of pub is below accommodation. Noise of extraction fan below room.
- Karolina (9/5): -
- Darren (10/5): Good place good food good staff - Room nice and clean nice staff, good food Everything all ok nothing to dislike
- Robert (5/5): Staff very pleasant and food in the bar good d we had meal each night - N /A The stair way to the rooms very steep and unsuitable for elderly we are both in our eighties and not any good for our dog . This should be made clear in the booking blurb. We had to carry our medium size dog down the stairs 24 kg not good .d w
- Kerry (5/5): would have been perfect if we have - Location Great, Staff was friendly and the food in the evening was good. Shower wasn't working, random leaves / tree branch like thing hanging on the shower. Wifi kept disconnecting and ended checking out a day earlier
- Lorraine (9/5): Nice stay clean and comfortable. - Central to Pershore Nothing
- Steven (5/5): - Location and Pub The fan outside our window kept me awake most of the night
- Anna (8/5): Always a great place to stay when we're in Pershore. - Comfortable, clean room and a bath (good for a soak after a winter walk). The Star is a nice pub with well kept beer, decent wine, good food and friendly staff, too.
- Jess (10/5): -
- Penny (10/5): -
- becky (10/5): -
- Diane (10/5): Brilliant well done to cheslae and staff - Room lovely and chelsea was lovely and the mulled wine was amazing 👏 The steep stairs I have bad knees but I managed ok because the star inn was lovely x
- Nik (6/5): -
- Sharon (5/5): Disappointing - The bed was comfortable and plenty of toiletries had been provided along with tea, coffee, etc. The shower was good. The room was directly above the kitchen of the pub. There was loud music playing until 10.30pm from the kitchen. Steps accessing the property were steep and it was difficult for our elderly dog to walk up and down them. The WiFi code didn’t work and the room was a little tired.
- johann (9/5): -
- david (7/5): -
- marnie (8/5): Great would recommend and would book again if I ever need to come to Pershore - The supply of tea, coffee, milk etc was exceptional
Huge bathroom
Easy to park
Pub downstairs
In the centre of town The kettle had to be boiled on the far side of the room away from the drinks supplied, due to no electric sockets on that side (very historical building)
- Aminul (5/5): -
- christine (10/5): - Lovely place and brilliant staff We couldn't fault anything
- Helen (8/5): -
- Carol (10/5): -
- Carol (10/5): -
- Walter (8/5): Stairs and loud music will put us off booking again. - God breakfast and service. OK cost. Access stairs were very steep for elderly with luggage. We stayed on Karioki night i the Pub below which we would avoid again.
- HANNAH (8/5): - Fab breakfast , an additional cost but worth it
- Kathryn (6/5): Location great, pub downstairs great friendly staff, breakfast in the pub was fab, room tired, too bright and a little u - Fairly quiet after pub closed Uncomfortable bed, room and the corridor to the rooms tired and needs updating and all very dark and dingy, issue with hot water but does come eventually, bright fire door light kept me awake
- John (10/5): Perfect for our weekend away - Lovely location by the river. Excellent parking. Great food served. Easy self check. Very friendly, professional, polite staff in the bar and restaurant. We felt very looked after. Nothing
- Rebecca (8/5): - Perfect sized room- everything I needed and a fantastic location for me!

- Jacqueline (7/5): A true blue experience - Great location and great pub. Although it closed at 10 on a Friday night, easy access to property and tea and coffee making facilities. Shower was good and adequate space in room. Noisy extractor fan outside window room 4 . Bed wasn't very comfortable. Why does everyone think navy blue rooms are cheery. They aren't.
- Linda (9/5): Pershore - Lovely clean airy room, plenty of hot drink supplies Bed was a bit firm
- Webster (10/5): -
- RICHARD (5/5): needs investment, tired and a very basic 2 star - location for a wedding we were attending No toilet rolls, and no reply from the lady who supported these rooms and she did not get back to us, we raided a toilet roll from the pub.
- David (6/5): A comfortable stay. - We liked the location in Pershore;free parking. Tea/coffee available. Lots of towels & very clean. I had requested any room other than the one with the kitchen extractor unit immediately outside...we were allocated that room ! The shower hose and head was very wobbly as the holder was broken..should be easy to fix. Shower unit could be replaced and updated difficulty getting the right water temperature.
- Simon (7/5): -
- Nick (7/5): - Bed was nice and comfy. Plenty of Tea and milk in the room.
Staff were very friendly despite it being b
usy. Shower was a bit fiddly, but that likely is down to me just having a dopey moment.
- Richard (5/5): Passable - Good location in the town. Very noisy, from 7.30am - rubbish and bottle collection.
- David (7/5): adequate for one night - The rooms were good except for their location over an outdoor social area with kitchen fan outlets immediately below the windows. The outside entry steps & the side area were not good .
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Christine (7/5): A great central location with a great oubt - A great location in Pershore and close to shops and other facilities. The staff at the bar were friendly but sadly we had a long day and once we arrived they had stopped food at 8. Easily accessible by given codes and key box to get into room. The room was advertised as a double but the bed was incredibly small for 2 people, possibly a queen but there was little room to move and the mattress was so soft. Unfortunately probably one of the worst nights sleep we had on our 10 day hiking trip. This was also due to a bright green light in our room that was on all night. Assume this was for fire exit safety but there was no way to turn it off
The room was extremely hot and only had a small window that opened (the large sash window was painted closed). There were some in issues with the water pressure, as well as the temperature, am guessing due to it being an old building, so was difficult to have a shower after a long day of hiking.
The place was also noisy as the outside bar area was just below our window. This also meant that we heard the bottle banks being emptied in the early hours of the morning
- Avril (5/5): It served my purpose but I wouldn’t opt to stay there again, - There was no breakfast. The room was comfortable and a fan was provided. However the noise/smell from the kitchen extractor was not pleasant and the access, up very steep shallow stairs was a bit of a problem. An actual person would have been preferable to self entry by code - no-one to help me when I couldn’t access key initially, although the bar staff (nothing to do with the rooms) did help me.
- Amanda (5/5): Passable - Noisy fan outside window
- Gillian (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Everything,the service was excellent Nothing I didn't like
- Suzanne (9/5): Superb - Clean, comfortable, friendly -
- Paul (5/5): It served a purpose, but it could've been so much better. - Location in the town is good. Staff in the pub very friendly and helpful. Free, private parking. Sandwich we had at first lunchtime was very tasty. We ate elsewhere after that so can't comment on rest of menu. Fittings and fixtures all cheap and a bit tired. Bathroom needs shelving, as does the shower which is far too small. Bed too small. Decking area right under window which is noisy until closing time. Outside A/C unit noisy in the early hours. A fan is needed for hot weather, luckily we took our own. We wished we'd paid a bit more and stayed at the Angel up the road. Wi Fi was gltchy. Rear entry to building is not the best and stairs are too steep. Certainly not acceptable for the older and infirm.
The owners need to spend some money on updates in the bedroom and bathroom and on outdoor furniture down near the river. Our room was described as deluxe, which it certainly was not !
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - The room was light and airy very clean and comfortable, I also liked the pictures of the hares,my favourite animal. Nothing we didn't like all good
- Tim (9/5): Superb - Convenient location and clean and well appointed accommodation.
- Sally (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Nice rooms, a bit noisy till the pub closed. No early breakfast, had to go to Wetherspoons.
- Rachel (10/5): Highly recommended accommodation. A☆ - A great price for good quality accommodation. No extra charge for dogs which was really helpful. Highly recommend. I didn't dislike anything, but very steep stairs so not great for the less able.
- Etherton (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (6/5): Everything brill .. apart from dangerous stairs - Staff were lovely Stairs to rooms are outrageous..45 degs .. narrow .. very short treads .. dangerous to be honest .. should be stated in advert ..
- Suzanne (5/5): Good location just a bit disappointed. It seemed ideal for me & the dogs - Room & bathroom size was good Temperature in room was too high, ventilation wasn’t good although there was a small fan.
Access to the facility was pretty grim; a small mat covering a flow of greasy liquid across the entrance, from the kitchens in the pub below made it difficult to get in without stepping in it.
Also dragging luggage and dogs paws. Very unpleasant.
Looks like some negotiation with the pub and owner of the accommodation business needs to happen.
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- Sally (7/5): Good - Perfect location, lovely pub, fantastic food.
The room was comfortable & clean.
- Crystal (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (9/5): Superb - Free parking, availability of pub for food and drink.

- John (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (7/5): Good location, clean - Location is excellent
Entry was by code emailed in advance worked smoothly. Clean. Comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom. Sound insulation was at times not great.
Shower was clean but needed attention ( flow and temperature control)
- Fran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Crystal (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant - The staff were polite and efficient.
The lunchtime sandwich was very tasty. Noise. A party of 4 were very noisy beneath our window, up to 2305, when I asked them to move. This they did.
At 0550 bottles were thrown into a bin, then bins dragged out to the road.
The lighting in the bathroom was inadequate. No
- Jackie (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (7/5): Good -
- Rachel (9/5): Another great visit. Thank you. Love the work on the steep stairs. Great. - A great place to stay. Very reasonable, not fancy, but spotless and can take dogs at no extra cost. Highly recommend. It's not overly fancy, need to move kettle to a power point etc but for the money. Excellent value.
- Kirk (1/5): Poor accomodation. Staff generally ok. - Eveninf meal but no breakfast availble reduculous. Check in not clear. Hardly any time from access to room at 15.00 to last orders fir food at 16.00 . This is so poor after travellingc 5 hours. We weee told vreakfast was acailable at 9 as we were travelling and none was available.
- Lizzie (8/5): Great little find and very pleasant - Easy check in
Location near river
Dog friendly
Good loo paper!
Nice products in. Bathroom Clean behind furniture and bed
Last years confetti perhaps!
Hot water took ages to come through but when it did it was fine
Noisy neighbours next door!
- Richard (9/5): Comfortable . - Self check in
Comfortable room
Clean
Great shower All was good
- Mandy (9/5): Good location - Nicely decorated and refurbished since our last visit The entrance to the accommodation outside, you had to step over disgusting debris from the grease trap over flowing.
We had a problem locking our door which was soon fixed, due to door dropping you had to lift the door to lock it
