Only small issues were the key cards consistently stopped working (despite keeping them separate from phones/electronics), we had to go down to reception everytime we wanted to get into our room which was a little inconvienent. Other small issue was the rooms were really overheated for us and we weren't able to adjust the temperature. Regardless we still highly recommend.

• Michele (10/5): Uma jóia do lado de Puerto Varas - Foi a terceira vez que me hospedei aqui e avalio que o serviço melhorou muito desde a estadia anterior (dois anos atrás)! A abordagem voltou a ser mais profissional e as instalações continuam excelentes! Fiz um check out bem cedo e, ainda assim, a equipe do hotel teve o cuidado de montar o café da manhã antes do horário habitual, para que pudesse comer antes de sair. Senti falta do acesso à praia. A escadaria estava avariada e ainda aguardando manutenção. Como foi um final de semana com um calor anormal na cidade, teria sido bom poder descer até o lago.

• Sandy (8/5): Relaxing and lovely stay with magnificent views and a sublime beauty - I loved the grounds, they are impeccable and so relaxing. The hotel sits on the lakefront and the view is awe inspiring. You have a magnificent view of the volcanoes with Volcán Osorno taking Center stage. You have access to the lake as well to take a dip as well a hot tubs that view the lake and volcanoes. The beauty is sublime and we came in late December with summer beginning. The restaurant for dinner is delicious and Rotelio is a fabulous and attentive waiter with excellent recommendations. The staff is lovely and take pride in being excellent hospitality professionals. The birds and trees and the black bunny rabbit that made daily appearances added to the charm. The rooms don't gave AC so it can get stuffy and u uncomfortable ar night but I opened the windows and that solved the issue. My room, Puerto Fonck, face the lake and had an excellent views. The bed was comfortable enough but there is a perimeter light right outside. They do shut it off but you have to ask and depending on who is working the front desk they may turn it off right away or around 10:45. Marcos turned it off immediately when I asked around 10pm. Breakfast is good but the drip coffee isn't very tasty otherwise you have a nice spread and eggs to order. The other thing I would note is the room doors let in a lot of noise from the hallway if folks are up. I had a portable speaker and some pink noise got rid of it easily.
• May (10/5): Warm and inviting lodge with amazing views of the lake. - Casa Molino is a very charming boutique hotel with an excellent location right on Lago Llanquihue. The grounds are exceptionally cared for and provide wonderful views of the lake and volcano. Remember to book the soaking tub. In a clear day you have views of Osorno Volcano. On rainy days, there’s a feeling of mystery and romance. We booked the Ensenada room which had two lovely sitting areas and fantastic views. The bathroom was huge! Tub with a view! The staff is phenomenal and went out of their way to ensure our every comfort. We were especially impressed with Geraldine, Marcos and Rutilio. Finally, may I recommend dinner at the lodge. We tried many different dishes and they were all delicious…very fresh salads, trout tartare, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, steak and sous vide lamb which fell apart as it was so tender! We liked everything!

Lo mejor: al lado del lago y con una vista espectacular al Volcán Osorno El desayuno es completo preparado con esmero. • Francisco (7/5): Beautiful place. Understaffed. Ok amenities/room. - Beautiful view and place. Location good. Understaffed, which means we had many times to wait long to be attended. Also, staff didn’t know anything to do or to counsel about activities in the region. Breakfast was so-so. Room very small and dark.
• Thakshi (6/5): Negative on staff and service - The property is absolutey stunning with incredible lake and mountain views. The staff don't speak English at all (as nice as they were). They couldn't accommodate basic requests like breakfast slightly before 8am. They can only handle a couple of people for dinner. I got food poisoning from eating their fish dish for dinner. They added tax to the bill and I had to explain multiple times that it needed to be removed for foreigners paying in dollars. Eventually had to speak to the manager to get it resolved. Management is no where to be found, the staff look like they have no idea what they are doing. They stuffed up our room booking and we had to stay in a double instead of a twin for one night. My silver ring I left at the property but was told nothing was found in the room. They did upgrade to sea view to make up for it. They also provided toast and a banana the day after food poisoning and a packed lunch on the last day given we were missing breakfast too many times. This could be an amazing boutique hotel if they could get the staff and service sorted!
• Markus (8/5): Beautiful location on the lake with a view of the Osorno. - Very nice location, rooms with wonderful views of the Osorno and very nice house, large garden with private beach. Nice staff with good breakfast. Room rather small, but as described. Oversized TV which partially blocked the entrance to the bathroom.

• Peter (10/5): Brilliant stay in Puerto Varas - This was our first visit to Casa Molino and the location was superb looking over the lack and Volcano Orsono. The room was well equipped and very comfortable bed and breakfast and dinner were very good quality. However the main bonus of the visit were the staff who were really friendly and helpful and would be a main reason to return No major issue but coffee and tea in room was minimal
• Judith (10/5): Magical!!!! - The Casa is stunning! The lakeside location is so impressive right in front of Orsono volcano.Guests are able to walk the beach and sit on the shore.Puerta Varas is minutes away a nice afternoon.the town is crowded and full of tourists. Casa Molino offers a wonderful respite.Staff is incredibly accommodating. Hated to leave after four days. Highly recommend No air conditioning however nice lake breezes.Lakeside room Funco very small and bathroom also. But you won’t spend time in your room as there are numerous spaces throughout Casa to relax.

• Gilberto (8/5): A gorgeous venue in Puerto Varas. - The building is lovely and it has a garden with a great view of the lake. Food is tasty and cuisine staff is sweet and helpful. Front desk service was good but uneven. Whilst trying to be nice and sweet most times (eg they have great tips of what to do and restaurants), one of them could have been more organized:, eg (i) we were asked to check out (ie pay our extras) almost at 10 pm the night BEFORE our last day at the hotel (weird), (ii) they arranged complimentary hot tube experience but couldn’t provide us with hobbies or any towels and when asked to do so they apologized for they couldn’t find towels supposed to be part of that experience (really, no towels at a hotel?); (iiii) they offered us bikes but when we took them their wheels were empty, they said they couldn’t find a pump to fill them and said there’d be maintenance the next morning but have never got back to us about that in none of the subsequent days.

• Vitor (10/5): Magical experience, recommended - Very genuinely nice staff. AMAZING lake+mountain view from the room I booked, you could also watch birds hunting/walking around in their lakefront “backyard”. Walking the backyard in a misty morning was cool too. Room was cozy, comfortable and very modern. Breakfast was pretty good. Location is perfect if you are driving (and you should be for touring this area), easy access to roads that take you to Puerto Varas restaurants, to the airport, or to Chiloe. Mind that this is outside the city, not a good option if you haven’t got a car. No ATM on site and you need to have pesos in cash to pay tolls when entering some cities in the area (even though everything else in Chile takes cards), so better to withdraw pesos at the airport or something.
