- Penny (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful room. Modern and with stellar view of ocean.
- Ian (10/5): A beautiful place to finish our fortnight in NL - The Tides Inn was our last night splurge at the end of a two week visit to Newfoundland/Labrador. A bit more expensive than other places we'd stayed, but well worth it. A wonderful place to stay. Great view out over the inlet from the room - all rooms have the view. Robert (co-owner) was so friendly on reception with great local dinner recommendation. Room was well equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely. Self service but with a good selection - bacon, sausage, eggs, cereals, toast and pastries. Nothing. Exceeded our expectations in everything.
- Dmitri Kouznetsov (9/5): - Great view.
Quiet town.
Some cafes and restaurants nearby.
All of the major attractions are a short drive away.
Keyless entry.
Good room size. There's a microwave in the room, but no plates, bowls, or utensils.
No kettle available at the front desk.
The couch in the seating area is uncomfortable and needs some pillows.
- Jennifer (10/5): - The host was friendly and helpful. Room was large ,well appointed and exceptionally clean
- frederic (10/5): - Un endroit très agréable pour rester quelques jours et profiter des environs. L’accueil est exceptionnel et le déjeuner est excellent
- Gerard (10/5): The view and the rooms make this a very special hotel. - Breakfast was excellent. The homemade Joe Jam was too good to pass up. Nothing, this is an amazing place to stay.
- Leslie (10/5): We should have booked for a longer stay. Great location to explore or visit surrounding areas. - excellent choice. very good.
- Teri-Lee (10/5): - Super clean and comfy. Nicely appointed. Friendly owners and a hearty breakfast.

- Kevin (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Tides Inn tremendously. The owners are wonderful and very helpful to those needing a little advice. The rooms and breakfast were terrific. The views from your private patio are incredible! A short walk to the wharf and beach. I would recommend this Inn to anyone visiting the area.
- Wei (9/5): Clean & Spacious - It sits at the bay front, and every room has a balcony. The rooms are spacious and clean. We especially appreciate that there are two luggage racks in the room. It would be nice if they furnish the bed with comforter instead of blanket.
- Heidi M. (10/5): - Comfortable, clean, great view, welcoming - we were very comfortable - thank you!
- Stuart (10/5): - Nice view of harbour
- Joyce (10/5): Enjoyable 5 night stay in National Park area - Wonderful family run operation. Room is big with great bathroom with tub and shower. King bed and pillows were comfy. Very nice breakfast with good selection of hot and cold items. Also wholesome breads and locally made jams or jellies. Nice quiet area at night. Great scenery in all directions. Great location near to many activities and attractions. Having to walk outdoors via the back door and around to the front door to enter for breakfast. One morning it was raining and a bit inconvenient. Also originally I thought the property was right on the lake so when you had a balcony, you were looking at the lake. However, the property is on the other side of the road from the lake.
- Riley (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at The Tides Inn. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was top notch and there was a food truck across the street that served up one of the best lobster rolls. The view is stunning with lots of beaches near by to swim or watch the sunset. We will be back!
- Nadia (10/5): A must little spot to visit - Beautiful well kept and very clean. Enjoyed our stay Nothing it was perfect

- Shane (10/5): Visiting Gros Morne, then book here first! - This was a fantastic place to stay, everybody was so welcoming and helpful. We stayed 2 night but wanted to stay longer but they were fully booked. There is a clue there, book up early and stay a day longer :-)
Everything looked fresh, clean, new.
Some highlights:
- the amazing view and balcony!
- fresh breakfast to start the day, breads and jams, etc etc
- great recommendations to experience Gros Morne National Park the best
When we visit Newfoundland again, The Tides Inn will be the first piece in the planning puzzle to be booked. Nothing it was great
- Eugene (10/5): - Very clean, well appointed large room. Great hosts with lots of local knowledge. Conveniently located for Gros Morne park. Good hearty breakfast to start each day.
- Amanda (10/5): - Newer room, it was beautiful. The location is lovely with a stunning view.
- Glyza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edward (9/5): Superb - Great location for Gros Morne national park
- Bernadette (9/5): Enjoyed our visit and recommend staying here. - Beautiful smaller property. Great views of a lovely harbour in a quaint town. Nice rooms with balcony and a rear deck with seating. Very clean. Wonderful owners with great recommendations. We wish they had AC although you do get a fan and can lock the screen door on the balcony. Would have liked daily housekeeping for the price but they did say if we needed anything to call.
- Darrah (10/5): - The photos do not do it justice. Our room was spotless and very minimally decorated, a nice calm space. Bed was very comfortable and our check in and check out were a breeze! Norris Point is a great resting place for any Gros Morne visitor.
- Zoja (10/5): - Lovely spot with a beautiful view and very friendly and helpful owners. Coffee is locally roasted and excellent. A nice short hike with great vistas down the street and a few local, very nice restaurants close by. The food truck across the street made the experience next level. Would recommend The Tides Inn and King Lobster for anyone headed to the area.
- Herbert (10/5): Exceptional - Great buffet breakfast every morning. Rooms offer a spectacular view.l
- Ken (10/5): - Property from design to decorating, the
friendly and warm staff. Great place to relax after a day of touring. Lovely village close to all things within Gross Morne yet quiet and tranquil.
- John (8/5): Very good -

- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (10/5): - Beautiful area, friendly owners, quiet, and a nice breakfast
- Shantanu (9/5): A very good base for exploring the area. Run by some really nice folks. - Great location, good views, nice modern building in excellent condition. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Comfortable bed, good bathroom. Having to go out around to get from the room to the breakfast area was tedious, and it would have been annoying if it rained. The room really needs a chest of drawers.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (10/5): - Excellent place! Hosts were fun to talk to, rooms were nice with views front and back. Great place to stay a few nights if you’re exploring the area.
- Anne (10/5): A wonderful place to stay - The Tides is a family owned and operated motel located in a beautiful location across the street from the inlet in Norris Point. Barb, the owner welcomed us in the parking lot before we pulled our bags out of the car because the room entrances are behind the building. Her whole family works at the motel and they are friendly and helpful. We chose an option to have breakfast and we are looking forward to that after our one night stay leading to our trip to the northern peninsula. This motel was recommended by a friend who told me the next time he visited Newfoundland, he planned to book his whole visit in this hotel and I can understand why. I planned to visit Newfoundland previously and had booked at the Sugar Hill Inn but the trip was cancelled due to COVID and the owners there only provided me with a credit note that expired within 2 years, so opted to try this motel and a spa called Neddies on our return trip from the Northern Peninsula.
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional - The rooms were spacious. Breakfast was great. The location was perfect.. Great place to stay. We hope to be back. Thanks
- John (10/5): A great stay at a comfortable inn, well managed by friendly, helpful owners and staff. Nice people! - Great breakfast, large & comfortable room. The owners and staff were outstanding. They are very nice people and helpful . A great view of the water from our room. The Inn is very close to Rocky Harbour and the major attractions in the area. There was nothing that we disliked about our stay.
- Ema (10/5): - It was a nice, clean. Great location and the staff and owners were really nice. Made you feel at home. Would definitely recommend.
- Francis (9/5): Superb -
- Kay (10/5): A comfortable stay in a beautiful part of the world - Our room was spacious and comfortable. We were at The Tides out of season, so were the only guests. For us, that worked out nicely as we had wonderful conversations with our hosts Barb and Robert during breakfast. N/A
- Barry (10/5): - Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabriela (9/5): Superb -
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nancy (8/5): - Great room, bed was very comfortable. Close to lots of wonderful dining options. Chanterelles and Black Spruce were excellent.
- Cheryl (10/5): - Beautiful property with lovely view. Clean and awesome breakfast!
- Ken (10/5): - The property and room was wonderful. The staff was excellent as well.
- Aaron (10/5): - Great owners, welcoming and helpful. Beautiful views all around.
- Gregan (10/5): Perfect Home Base for Daily Adventures - Perfect place - a cross between a large hotel room and a B&B. Clean and modern. Your own outside entrance on one side and a balcony onto the cove on the other - beautiful! After a day of hiking in the park, you have lots of room to stretch out and relax. Terrific sleep on a super comfortable bed and an excellent hot breakfast with a variety of choices. The coffee's great, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. Convenient location on the Gros Morne side of the park - walking distance or short drive to food and drink. This will be our home base for future visits. Suggestion: the fan on low at night makes for a comfortable sleep.
- Anthony (10/5): - Wonderful place. Large rooms. Amazing hosts and a gorgeous view. Only flaw was road noise.
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Calvin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (10/5): Lovely Location - This is our first trip to the Tides Inn and we had the most lovely room (Room 10) that had two floors with lots of space and great views, and awesome location would highly highly highly recommend, room was exactly as advertised.
The owners are a lovely couple and the hot breakfast was great both mornings, don’t hesitate to book here, you won’t be disappointed.

- Brian (10/5): The Tides Inn is worth hoping there are vacancies when you are in the Gros Morne NP area. - Everything about the Tides Inn was exceptional. The rooms, breakfasts, bedding, bathroom amenities, ice provided, quietness and pleasant deck for sitting. The breakfast is above and beyond anything offered by any high quality motel chain. Barb is an exceptional host.
- Jan (10/5): The people in Newfoundland are lovely the island is magnificent. We will definitely be returning. - Breakfast was delicious , however mixing up scrambled eggs one day with boiled eggs the next would be great as well!! No air conditioning, sorry

- Rosie (10/5): - This place was modern, clean and spacious. Like a motel with parking on one side and walk out onto a harbor view balcony on the other side.
We would definitely recommend and the owners were great.
- Kim (10/5): - Beautiful. Everything you need
- Paul (10/5): - Very nice and clean with an incredible view of the bay.
- Joel (10/5): Norris Point was a great place to stay. Accessible to all parts of the park. Room was spacious and nice for a 3 day stay - Everything was super, from breakfast chats with the owner to the views. We had room 10 which is a 2 level. Very nice indeed. Nothing!!!!
- D Gail (10/5): - The room and view of the harbour were amazing. Would recommend The Tides to anyone. Great breakfast with lots of choices
- Robin (8/5): - The Tides Inn provides a feeling of tranquility with the Harbour and mountains all right there! Walkable in the town of Norris Point. Note: the main road is in front of the Inn so can be a bit noisy in the morning.
We had a heavy footed person staying next to is amd could hear them them thumping around. The reast was good! Comfy bed, nice towels, great view. And breakfast in the morning!
.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Beautiful new property.
- Li (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joel (10/5): - Very nice rooms! No AC, but you usually don't need it around here. A little quieter being in Norris Point instead of rocky harbor, but there's a lovely hiking trail a block away, a little convenience store nearby, and a great cafe a few minutes walk away.
