• Jemma (4/5): Uneasy atmosphere - The car parking was good, as were the staff - particularly the breakfast staff. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and the location/stock of vending machines were good. The lift wasn't very reliable. The location was terrible due to the surroundings. My husband and I felt very uneasy during our stay and the atmosphere in the hotel was not one of relaxation. Don't think I'll be back to Limerick, never mind this hotel.

• Kida (5/5): - Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wie ich es allgemein von den Iren kenne. Die Lage war nicht so toll. Zwar mit dem Bus, (wenn man weiss welcher) gut zu erreichen, aber neben einer gut befahrenen Strasse. Wer ein Zimmer zu dieser Strasse erwischt, kann nachts nicht sehr ruhig mit offenem Fenster schlafen, ausser man ist sich das gewöhnt.

The staff were very good first floor guest could hear lots of noise, including the resident of the room above throwing up. And a disembodied piano. The food in the restaurant (not breakfast) was below par and overpriced for the quality (for example,, the ham and turkey dinner, though stated as "special", was not.

• Karl (5/5): 3 Star hotel that would get only 1 or max 2 stars outside of ireland. - The breakfast was fine, but the meal we had on the evening before was on the lower side of quality. Especially the pasta for our kid was tasteless and overcooked. The lady that took our order behind the bar was nice and knew how to smile. Beside some of the rowdier clientele, I had to go and order the food on the counter as the service didn't pay us any attention. The room and bath where clean, but could do with a bit of renovation.

• Hugo (7/5): Second choice hotel - The house keeping is good and with that the cleanliness as well. Over all the operational side of this hotel is satisfactory. Parking was not an issue. There is a restaurant in the hotel with a simple menu and the food is adequate if you are not in the mood to go outside to eat. The personnel is OK to deal with but nothing more than that, customer service to the letter. The room is long in the tooth. My room was very noisy, the sound of the Kitchen extraction fans and the central air-conditioning was very intrusive. Stay clear of the rooms at lower floors, close to the landing. The bathroom was very uncomfortable with a shower curtain that is intruding half way in the bathtub. This is supposedly to avoid people from hanging the curtain outside the bath tub. But if you do not like the curtain to cling on you, the only option is to leave it open and mop up the floor with the towel after you finish the shower. My bathtub was worn out and yellowing, with the anti slip strips and enamel or coating coming off.

Staff did sort us out. The bathroom was awful an adapted room for disabled people. Not for us. There was a lot of work going on and lifts not available.

• Cormac (6/5): Won’t be back due to all the negative examples - The reception area looks well and is well maintained Reception took a call while we approached the desk and spoke for almost 10mins while we waited. Then there was an argument between other residents in the corridor at midnight and nobody would come to sort it and quiet them down. My family was scared and ended up exhausted due to lack of sleep. Bathroom door wouldn’t close and fan stayed on all night.

When we spoke to reception as there was a lot of noise on our floor they couldn’t of been any more accommodating, moved us immediately, no questions asked and offered to help with bags as our daughter wasn’t well. • marites (8/5): Aside from the noise that we experienced, everything was quite good on our overnight stay. - The location, room and staff were very good. We did not expect the treats that the kids received, we really appreciate it. The kids enjoyed the short stay even the included breakfast!! We need to settle early because my son has an event to attend the following day but unfortunately the noise along the corridor was to loud, with the other guests talking and slapping the door intermittently!
