Guest Reviews
- Nisha (8/5): - The house was lovely and had everything we needed The mattresses on the beds were cheap and very soft
- Julie (10/5): Amazing - Had a lovely stay visiting the Royal Windsor horse show booked again for next year

- Andrew (9/5): Perfect location for Windsor and Legoland - The house is lovely and cosy with 3 good sized bedrooms. It was clean and what we expected. It was less than 5 minutes away from Legoland The parking- we knew there was no off street parking but at the time we stayed there were also roadworks outside which led us to park much further up the street or in the estate behind the house.
- Lukasz (9/5): - Proximity to the Legoland and few small local shops, the house is neat and clean and has everything that's needed for a stay. The host is very helpful. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly so no complains on that. 25min fast walk to the high street and the Windsor castle. would be great to add some more bigger cups and glasses, the door lock is easy but only after you manage to understand how it works, there is very limited amount of space to park a car near to the house, so that can be tricky if you are in a rush. Beds are too soft, but that's just a personal opinion.

- Claire (9/5): Beautiful house in a brilliant location - Lovely home in a great location. Only took 5 mins by car to get to Legoland and just a train journey into London. It was also only a 20 min walk to Windsor castle etc. It was very warm so we needed to keep our windows open but the road outside was pretty noisy throughout the night!
- Catherine (7/5): - Great location. Nice decor and well equipped.
- Lewis (8/5): Very good - Location Garden was a mess
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Campbell (9/5): Superb - The house was good size for family of 5.
2 double bed bedrooms and 1 single. Good communication from the owners.
House very cosy, a bit too warm for our family. The heating system was set up, so we couldn't switch it off.
Good size kitchen and well equipped.
20 min brisk walk from the Windsor centre.
Good house as base for sightseeing the area. The front door lock a bit tricky to open.
Toilet seat needs fixed.
- Jane (8/5): Overall very pleased j - Lovely house great location very good access to legoland and windsor bus stops right outside the house.either way
Many pubs near buy that did good food. Overall very pleased but needs a couple of things looking at Pity garden wasn't tidy fence broken and wood rotted. No table and chair and we had very warm weather.
Couldn't turn heating timing off so made house extremely hot.... bathroom radiator absolutely boiling so needed to cover with a towel as we had some.ones with us and too hot to touch
Front door lock a bit temperamental to.open
- Darren (8/5): Nice clean and cosy only fault if I’m being fussy is upgrade tv was only able to watch Netflix - Very good
- Mark (9/5): Superb - The door lock was a bit awkward, otherwise it was excellent
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (9/5): Stay in Windsor - Comfortable, warm, spacious. Good facilities Door was a little tricky to work
- Adam (7/5): Great property, good value for money and lovely host - I liked the character of the property, the kitchen was well equipped and the property was warm The mattress in the double rooms were too soft, I think they need to be replaced. Parking is a bit of a nightmare
- Robert (10/5): Really nice definitely stay again!👍 - Everything was great had everything we needed!
- Craig (5/5): Passable - The heating it needs thermostatic valves put on all the radiators as trying to get the ones in the living area on was a nightmare which left that area cold
- Malcolm (7/5): Pleasant, good base to explore Windsor. - Location good, easy to walk to city centre. Quiet. Owner very responsive to our questions and issues, actioned immediately. Cleaning company let the owner down, missing towels, missing items that would normally have been provided, cleanliness acceptable but could have been better.
- Janette (9/5): Superb -
- Erla (3/5): A property in a poor state, be aware please. - The location of the property is good ish. It's about a 20 min walk into town. The property is located on a fairly busy street though, with a traffic light right outside the house. I was very disappointed, overall the property needs to be fixed up. The back windows are extremely worn down, the kitchen window is broken. The furniture is run down, the sofa in the living room is torn. The walls need painting, the outdoor area in the back is not usable nor safe, the wood bench is broken and the fence is worn down. The fan in the bathroom was filthy and when flushing the toilet, loud noise filled the house for about 15 seconds. I can mention more but will stop here. I am still surprised a property in this state is on booking.com's list and for the rather high reviews the property has got versus the state of the property.
One positive is the kitchen cabinets looked fairly new and were clean. Could do with more glasses though, would have been nice to have wine glasses other than champagne glasses and if the four water glasses would have matched. But that is minor.
We stayed for 3 nights, because of the state, we went out first thing in the morning and back late at night, only used for sleeping. The pictures do not show the full state of the property but gives an idea.
- Margaret (8/5): Ideal location to explore Windsor and Legoland. - Very clean and the location was good. The kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated and had everything we needed. Bedclothes were old and uncomfortable. A table and chairs in the garden would have made it more comfortable.
- Howarth (9/5): Windsor, family weekend - The spacious rooms, the cleanliness and the location was every we needed for our stay. Its approx a ten minute walk to the main shops, and a stones throw away from the barracks where my son is based. It was a great base for us as we were also travelling to go to the trooping of the colour. We will be back! Wasn't that I didn't like but the garden looked like it was a work in progress. It would be a lovely to sit out of an evening to relax with some garden furniture. Hard to find a parking spot but there is a car park across the road.
- Barbara (6/5): Disappointing especially the bedding but this house has great potential with a few simple upgrades - The downstairs of the property was nice. The kitchen was modern and the seating and dining areas were stylish and comfortable. The bathroom was also good although it would have been handy to have an extra toilet and we couldn’t get the lock to work. The washing machine was good although we were also expecting a tumble dryer. The location was reasonable - a bit further from the centre of Windsor than expected but it could have been walked in about 30 mins to the High St. There is a handy shop just across the road with a friendly owner. The house has good potential but upstairs didn’t feel finished. The bedding and pillows were awful - they felt old and used and this made us feel very uncomfortable. The promised facilities weren’t all there - I asked for an ironing board and it was promised for noon the next day but it didn’t arrive. There should have been a tumble dryer but there was only a washing machine and simple things like wine glasses were missing. Getting in was very frustrating because they said the keys were on the right of the door but they were on the left and very hidden - our taxi driver had to help us find the box and the lock was very stiff. The host however answered the phone immediately and helped to guide us on how to get in. The television was set to wrestling and was difficult to get working for free to air. We had to call for the wifi logins although the host said they were on the wall (they weren’t). It would have been helpful to have instructions on how to use everything in the house and to have all advertised facilities provided. If the hosts sort this out and provide some decent bedding, this could be a lovely place to stay.
- Mgt. (6/5): Touring Windsor & London Friend's Birthday. - It was approximately 20minutes walk into Windsor. There is a bus stop just outside the house. There is a shop across the road & it is reasonably priced, it has a good variety of items . The area is pleasant & quiet . The house was clean, the kitchen & bathroom & carpets were all in good condition. The shower was very good with plenty of warm water.
The host always answered any questions we had. The entrance to the house is covered by a large over grown laurel hedge in great need of attention, it blocks natural light & warmth from the living room making it feel cool & dull. Everywhere in the house is painted white & not well painted or well finished. There are no pictures of Windsor or London attractions which is what most tourists come for. No information about Windsor. The house had a musty smell. The sofa's were uncomfortable. The back garden was neglected & overgrown & therefore couldnt be used which was such a pity as the weather was warm & sunny. The house has great potential with orginial features that are not being highlighted. The garden has great possibilites with orginal red brick walls & mature trees but sadly left overgrown & the garden was therefore out of use.
There was no tea/coffee or small carton of milk left which would have cost little & been welcoming.
The bed linen was clean but starting to show signs of wear. The fitted bed sheets were pilling .The pillows were very poor quality.
This house has so much going for it by character alone, a little more TLC & a bit more spent on bed linen ,garden etc would make such a difference.
Overall the house was clean which was very important. A folder with information regarding bus & train times & location with information about the house and the heating would be helpful.
There was plenty of toilet rolls & there was kitchen roll available which is a big plus. Unfortunately the bathroom door lock didnt work.
- Renske (8/5): It was a lovely stay in Windsor. The owner is very nice and helpfull when needed. - Clean house. Plenty rooms. Close to the town and Windsor Castle. The sounds of the airplanes
- Aisling (9/5): Superb - Loved the location for Legoland.
- Iona (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious clean and comfortable. Host was very responsive and helpful throughout our 10 day stay.
- Mark (9/5): Superb - Close to motorways Garden
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anita (8/5): Very good - Location was great - two corner stores within a minutes walk and Legoland just a few minutes drive away. Parking was free on the street but difficult to find. We couldn't work out how to turn the heating on as it was automatically set to turn off at certain hours. Once we found the thermostat, it was great.
- Kim (9/5): Comfortable stay with the whole fam! - Good location for Legoland. Great accommodation for the family
- Gregory (8/5): Good clean house next to the town would stay again - Great for Windsor just a little walk Could do with normal tv ie bcc tv ect
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - House was in a good location, short walk out of town.
It was very clean.
Enjoyed our stay.
