Street is calm. Easy to locate. Too many Demarcated rooms no lounge or even shared lounge. Room is too tight. WiFi is shitty, entrance door to the room I stayed is faulty, couldn’t get in for about 30 mints.

• Maria (10/5): Great clean comfy affordable place in Inverness - Beautifully clean, nice comfy room, working warm shower, happy that there was a washing machine and tumble dryer, very handy for 2 hikers, didn't really use the kitchen but it's great to have just in case and seemed very well stocked up. Really easy to communicate with the owner, and really enjoyed how secure the building felt. Would definitely book again if back in Inverness. Maybe only just how thin the ceiling wall with the above neighbour was, could hear all their steps and furniture movement during the night, but not a big bother in the end. We did sleep and rest well.

NO LO RENTEN! - Nothing Desde que llegamos fue terrible, nos dieron mal el código para abrir la caja con las llaves y como no se lo sabia, mejor nos dieron un código para abrir una caja que tenia las llaves de todas las habitaciones y que ahí buscáramos la nuestra!!! nada de seguridad!!! No servia la calefacción en toda la casa y fuimos en invierno, decia que tenia baño propio pero la regadera no estaba en la habitación y no había lugar donde conectar un calentador! hacia tanto frio que una persona se enfermo y nos tuvimos que cambiar a otro alojamiento. Meti la queja a booking desde que llegamos y sin respuesta.
• Andrea (4/5): Decent enough, bedroom was clean and comfortable. Shared spaces, bins and essentials need improved - The bedroom was nice and clean, very spacious too. There were no general waste bins in the rooms except the bathroom one. There was no conditioner in the bathroom. The kitchen had no salt or oil, and it wasn't clear how often the towels were changed and by who. It was awkward to check in, with the app not working the first time I tried it and nobody on the door to help. The phone line was a longer process and hard to understand the operator. Other guests seemed to have this problem also. The bedroom door scraped off of the doorframe and the kitchen door handle was falling apart. The doorstops did not work and the doors slid closed. The bathroom was quite dirty, with grime around the shower.

• Celina (5/5): Great location and presumably reparation works in bathroom being completed - The location was good as it was within walking distance to the city centre. The bathroom had works completed during the day which we were not forewarned about. This interrupted our plans. There were no sign of hosts, instead just a workman.

Good facilities to make drinks and food DO NOT STAY HERE Bedroom door did not lock Shower was either scalding or cold Worst was that the bedroom door did not lock. It A) wasn't locked when I arrived, B) wouldn't lock no matter what I did - and a door should very easily lock especially when it's a latch/Yale style lock, C) it meant I had to leave my belongings in an unlocked room D) the customer service continually argued with me as if it were me in the wrong. And even when they promised someone would investigate, no one had been and the door was still unlocked, E) they didn't respond to further messages. This host seemed to misunderstand that locking and unlocking a door should be easy - and they couldn't appreciate they'd be the ones frustrated in my position. You don't go to Travelodge and expect this - why would you anywhere else

• Samantha (6/5): Noisy at times, Restless, uncomfortable, but clean & tidy & good location. - Kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances, but no small potatoe knife or potatoe peeler. Hob was hard to operate at first, but worked it out eventually. Other residence didn’t know to empty the tumble dryer fluff dispenser or water tray. Instructions on how to use the appliances could have been displayed in the kitchen for ease of use instead of trying to find them in the guide book, which was a bit vague when I did find it. No proper heating in the bedroom, a small electric heater only as the coal effect fire didn’t work. Only one chair in the room which was made from hard plastic and not very comfortable to sit in, so had to sit on the beds, which were soft mattresses. Ok if you like a soft mattress, but also felt damp due to the lack of proper hearing in the room. The bathroom was extremely small & the shower cubicle even more so, barely enough space in it to be able to wash properly. Noise travelled throughout the house from other peoples rooms, so could be very noisy at times. And people letting the doors go to close causing them to slam shut, woke me very early as people went out the doors due to us being in the front bedroom next to the hallway & front doors, and the noise from the rooms above of periphery moving furniture along the floors and walking on the floors over you head a night, caused for very little sleep during our stay. The fridge was not big enough for the amount of rooms in the property to safely store food items in when all the rooms were being used, larger fridge needed.

• Graham (3/5): Very poor bed and breakfast. - You ask what did we like about this b and b, notthing much to like, though it was convenient for the town centre. You ask about the staff, but there were no staff present. Very difficult to get in due to pass codes on doors, had to phone for instructions. The shower was tiny, shower head broken, a sharp rusty screw in floor of shower was dangerous. No table to eat at. Only one chair between 2 people. No carpet in corridor so we could hear people walking about all through the night. This was advertised as a bed and breakfast, but should have been bed and make your own breakfast, in a little microwave. Without doubt, this is the worst b and b that we have ever stayed in, and we will not be returning.

• Bridget (6/5): Pleasant - Room was large enough, clean and comfy, with all basics provided, like WiFi, kettle and hot drinks, hairdryer, etc. Only book this if there's nothing cheaper, and you can't afford more. It's basic functionality only. If you just want a clean bed and WiFi, it'll do. Four rooms - ie eight guests - share one bathroom. There's no separate toilet, so that's a long wait if someone takes a shower. The bathroom is very tight, so nothing about it is comfortable. There's nothing pretty or inviting about the space, and with so many rooms off such a small space, feels like student digs. Very impersonal, all check in and access is automated, no humans involved. This would all be ok, but the price is not value for money. I read the other reviews so I knew what to expect, and as I booked the night before and all decent budget options were already gone, I was ok with it. But it wouldn't be my first choice. You can pay less for more elsewhere.

Discussing with other guest, it had already happened several days before but the problem has not been resolved. We call the emergency number (swimming pool in the kitchen and no mop to dry it !) , the guy was not even in the UK, and nothing was done and nobody came. I would have appreciated to be able using the washing machine of the flats upstairs! 1 bathroom for 4 bedrooms is OK, but not when the only toilet is in this bathroom!

• John (1/5): We did not stay even one night. - Pretty much nothing and we would be grateful if consideration could be given to refunding some if not all of the cost of this booking as we left immediately. We were totally disappointed on the look and facility of our booking and did not stay. From the pictures on Booking.com we thought it would be a nice accommodation, but when we arrived and noted that there was to be a shared toilet/shower facility, we decided to leave.

• Robert (6/5): Accomodation itself is alright, but checkin is way too complicated - The room itself is very much alright. The location is good. The checkin process is just ridicolously complicated. I needed to unpack my stuff and take a picture of the passport in the middle of the street because you don't get the entrance codes (also 3 different codes you get... why?) before. Then I wrote them that I am finished with the process and they sent the codes. I am really happy that at least it didnt rain this day. This process need to be simplified asap or there should be somebody around to assist.

• Karol (5/5): Passable - Great kitchen equipment, close to city center (15 min) and three big supermarkets around (Lidl, Aldi, Tesco). The host is very unreliable, told us they feel sorry for the issues and would fix them next day, which never happened. Also, the two external doors which were super-secured by the code did not lock properly and could be opened by anyone. Looks from instruction like safe place but in fact everyone could enter the apartment (except your room). The shower was not working in our private bathroom, shower head sliding down and the temperature could be controlled three-way: cold, very hot, and burning. ;( We had to resolve it by ourselves with hair ties to make shower head fixed at the highest point. Even in that position, squatting was required not to burn the skin with high temperature. Another minor thing was the WiFi information which was incorrect in the instruction papers handing on the walls - we had to investigate it on our own, to find the correct credentials by the router itself.
• Catherine (8/5): Good value, well positioned property. - The room was lovely, a good size and very clean. Having the kitchen next door was a bonus and even though I had concerns about it being a shared bathroom it was only shared between our room and one other room and didn't cause any issues at all. The property is in a great location, only 10 minutes walk into the centre and there is a supermarket less than 5 min walk away. The only thing I struggled with was the heat in the bedroom, the heating wasn't on but it was still uncomfortably warm during the night, even with the window wide open. The duvet on the bed is an extremely heavy one so you couldn't sleep under it because it was far too warm. Perhaps a lighter duvet or even an extra sheet would be a good idea. This is just my personal opinion and in no way detracts from all the good points of this property!

• Donald (7/5): I enjoyed my stay. - Heating and hot water was excellent, as was the kitchen facilities, plus laundry facilities. Always a parking location available on the street. Room furniture was space, I needed a desk to work from, only a small table available. Also no comfy chair to sit on. Lighting was poor.

We needed one code for the outer door, another to access our hall, and a third to get our room key. It meant that we didn't go out again after returning from supper.

Loved the tea and coffee tray with hot chocolate and biscuits! Staff team are easily contactable. Bathroom was very tiny so the tiny sink was very difficult to use (removing the glass above the sink could ease access). Distance from the city centre is not too bad (15-20 mins walk) but the bumpy pavements with suitcases made the walk dreadful!

Too small an area. The closet the shower was located was room for the shower, shower door, and the outside privacy door, very much like a one-person lift. To close and uncomfortable to use.

Curtains do not cover the whole window. To access shower you have to leave room and go onto landing - the shower room is no bigger than a square metre

• Rhiannon (8/5): Hopeless for anyone without moblile phone or internet, v. lucky I do, otherwise, would recommend. - Very handy for city break, once all the entry codes were mastered! Good value, and facilities, don't mind shared bathroom. If I had not had a mobile phone, my husband does not have one, or had not checked my messages the day before, we would have been stranded, unable to get in. Please do not assume everyone has one, or has access to the internet. No advice was provided as how to access the TV, especially for anyone without a mobile phone, or much tec knowledge of apps, etc. Had to ask another guest in the flat, then only able to get one channel.
