Also provided is free WiFi, laundry facilities, and ceiling fans. Each apartment has a garage that can accommodate one vehicle. The complex also has a small shared plunge pool. Reception and check in are at the Reef Retreat 10 – 14 Harpa St. The Reef Retreat and The Reef Retreat Townhouses are separate complexes. Guests staying at the Reef Retreat Townhouses do not have access to the facilities at The Reef Retreat.

Close to beach (1 min to walk) car park with garage, gladly stay again and highly recommend. The only thing we didn’t like was that we didn’t book for a longer stay.

The mattress and the sofa bed were absolutely worn out, so it was really difficult to get some sleep during our stay. It was impossible to sleep on the sofa bed, you feel every spring, and the middle part of the the iron frame is going to brake your back. I wouldn't recommend to stay here due to this.

Thay (8/5): Great location!. Nice and clean apartment. - We enjoyed our three days stay at the property. Great location only 100 meters to the beach, the apartment is clean, beds are comfortable and very quiet. We will definitely come back and would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends. None

Lars (8/5): Very good - It’s located close to the beach, cafes and restaurants. It came with its own garage. The amount of kitchenware was very impressive. All tools and utilities you could dream of, including Tupperware lunchboxes, cling wrap, aluminium foil, Nespresso machine, you name it. Our apartment was across the street in a different building, which did not have the same lush tropical gardens around as the main buildings. Had to cross the street to reach the swimming pool, barbecue area etc.

Graeme (9/5): The Reef Retreat is ideal. - Great location to access all that Palm Cove has to offer. Great apartment but with a limited balcony. Pool was in a great setting amongst the trees and gardens. Limited balcony to our apartment.

Olivia (8/5): Very good - The Unit is great, spacious, clean, well-located, well-equipped. The staff member we saw at reception great and friendly. The staff member that came in the unit at 10:05am on check out day was plain rude. We were here for a big race and I had just packed up my bike and it took me a few minutes longer than expected. I had to listen to a "checkout is at 10am no exception, you have 5 minutes". It was just unnecessary. I was clearly packed and on my way out...🙄

Hawken (6/5): It was fine. I probably wouldn’t go back with children as it’s not child friendly. - The rooms were nice The pool was dirty, the chemicals were out. My daughter ended up with severe burning and irritation of her eyes after only one swim.

Grant (7/5): Good value, great spot for a week - Great location, short walk to the beach and many cafe and restaurant. Great pool area. Good size apartment with good lounge and verandah. Lovely leafy pool area that was perfect on the hot summer days. Property staff were very nice and helpful to me but I was disappointed with their lack of assistance to a foreign visitor who was having difficulties finding their appt.
Dianne (10/5): Relaxing few days in well appointed apartment - Close to restaurants quiet position. Very neat and tidy. Felt like you were in the rainforest.
Steve (9/5): Superb - Just back from the beach, walking distance from the main centre of Palm Cove with all the comforts of home. The layout of the room did not have a private toilet.
Lmw (8/5): Very good - Lovely setting with a nice pool area and great location. Nice spa bath and I liked the little outdoor kitchen and sitting area (but not everyone would like this especially if bugs were around). Peaceful setting, not a party place. Nice BBQ area. Really close to the beach and everything you need. Providing more than one bin bag for a five day stay and salt and pepper for the kitchen would be nice touch. We loved the outdoor kitchen and dining area but some people would not especially as it wasnt lockable. Walls are thin and you could hear everything from neighbours and those above. The maintenance guy using a super loud leaf blower for about an hour outside your window every day.
