• Sarah (8/5): - The owner was very friendly, kind and helpful. Apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Good value for a short stay especially if you need to be quite close to the station . Ballarò market is amazing, don't miss it. We only stayed one night but there was coffee and a moka pot etc and shampoo/shower gel and even a heated hair styler in the bathroom. Bed and sofabed were comfortable. Location good for walking to ballarò market, central station 15 minutes walk and not far into the historic centre. If I was staying much longer and not just sleeping in the apartment before a flight, I'd be disappointed that the little shared internal terrace was unusable because of works going on but that's out of the owner's control. Be aware it's ground floor right on a narrow street so you wouldn't be able to open shutters or windows in the bedroom without everyone looking in. It was a bit noisy because kids were directly outside shouting in the evening but the fan drowned them out and I had earplugs and there wasn't traffic which is most important. Bedroom doesn't have air con but has a fan which is powerful but noisy, which is fine for me (I actually prefer it to sleeping with air con on) but might not be for everyone. Living area has air con. Shower cubicle was small and not very powerful but functional and there was hot water. The walk to the station is full of rubbish and not very pleasant but if you go in the opposite direction towards the pedestrianised areas / (left out the front door) it's much prettier and more pleasant.

• Baranauskas (9/5): - Pretty good location, close to train station (15 minutes walk) and Norman Palace (7 minutes walk). Very clean rooms. Good kitchen if you want to prepair your own food. Friendly owner, who let me check in a little bit early and was ready to give me tips of what to visit in Palermo and where to eat if needed. I can definetely recommend it. A bit bigger shower cabin would be nice.
• Gerusa (7/5): Útil para curta estadia - O Giovanni Que nos recepcionou era simpático e deu dicas de praias , além de poder vir mais cedo para que pudéssemos deixar as malas . É um apartamento simples , mas que atende para estadia curta . O duche estava quebrado , e o ar condicionado está na sala , não chega no quarto , onde há um Ventilador , mas muito barulhento , Impossível de dormir com ele ligado .

• Julia (9/5): Buen sitio calidad-precio - El dueño de la casa era encantador. Estaba dispuesto a ayudarnos en todo durante nuestra estancia. La casa está bien, con todo lo necesario para tus días en Palermo. Tiene una habitación y un salón comedor. Totalmente recomendable, buena calidad-precio El barrio puede parecer poco céntrico, pero andando tienes el centro cerca. Lo único malo es que por la mañana oímos mucho ruido en la calle antes de levantarnos.

The proprietors created a home away from home where my daughter felt very well cared for in every way. The apartment was on the ground floor and was accessible for disabled guests. It was very well located, in a central location and was close to train station. Nothing!
• Dexter (10/5): Perfect host, perfect place - The host was very responsive and understanding of my late arrival to Palermo. He guided me through the check-in and retrieving the house keys. Host was very hospitable, recommended restaurants and places to see. He even went out of his way to bring me to a delicious seaside restaurant away from the city center.
• Chantal (8/5): A comfy home for your stay in Palermo - The central location was a great base to explore Palermo. The apartment is a nice size, with everything you need to make coffee and cook in the little kitchenette. The bed is comfy and the bedroom has lots of storage space and outlets to charge your phone. I fit ok, but some may find the shower to be a bit tight.
• Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - Giovanni is an incredible host. He took me sightseeing twice.! I did stay two weeks, but he is above and beyond an ambassador for Palermo and Sicily! The first time he contacted me to go places, I thought he had hit the wrong contact in his phone! His response was, "No, that is how we are here: Welcoming...." If you stay at Don Giovanni's, maybe: buy bread from the man on the street, meat at local meat cutter's, and veggies at the B Market--live like an Italian!
• Mari (9/5): Superb - Very well equipped apartment. A nice host Giovanni A nice terrace. A bit dirty street and area, but I think it is very safe anyway. Very noisy neighbours....but I think it is Sicilian style, not a big problem for me.

• Ricardo (10/5): Real Palermo, awesome stay - the apartment is very clean, you have space to do home office if you need to, the kitchen has all you need to cook a meal, the host is very very kind and attentive. the neighborhood might look intimidating at first, but it is safe, well lit at night and you can reach palazzo reale in 3 minutes being very close to the cathedral of Milano. this is a great place to stay. I recommend it
