Guest Reviews
- Marieke (7/5): - De grote van appartement. Was geen wasmachine terwijl dat wel in de beschrijving stond. Uitzicht klopten ook niet. Keken op appartementen achter ons.
Rook erg vies in trappenhuis.
- Alessia (9/5): -

- SILVIA (10/5): Excelent - Very confortable and conviniance
- Alessandro (10/5): - Posto curato Ancona ha subito un crollo totale. Quartiere abitato esclusivamente da Sudamericani rumorosi

- Marcin (9/5): Ancona was definitely worth visiting! - Oliver is a super friendly and helpful host. Location is very convenient, only a short walk to the centre. Lot of nice restaurants and bars around. Air conditioning would be a nice addition in the hot summer days.
- Louise (6/5): Clean apartment with the basics - Oliver (the host) was lovely and accomodating, letting us check in early. The apartment was clean and spacious. The location wasn’t great and there were no bath towels available.
- Pintilii (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice appartament and host
- Katherine (8/5): Nice apartment in a good location for the train station and the port. Very communicative host. - Really nice looking flat, interesting decoration, comfortable bed and sofa bed. Location was good (15 mins walk from the train station and the port), and easy to get in with the key safe. It was really hot when we were there, and the couple of fans provided didn't quite cut it.
- Kirsty (6/5): Good location for ferry terminal and train station - Good location between the ferry port and train station. We arrived by ferry and left by train, approx 10mins in both directions. Easy walk into town centre, with plenty choice of restaurants.
Apartment was spacious and clean. Kitchen was dated, but had everything we needed. There was a bit of late night noise from the street below.
Quiet a few flights of stairs to carry luggage up.
- Anna (9/5): Superb - Location, host Nothing
- Andrew (6/5): Great for a single night ready for the port. - Location was great for the port and owner was very good with communication. There was no air conditioning. In a hot July this was difficult for us. However, it is not advertised with a/c so not the owners fault.
- Matej (9/5): Superb -
- Mykhailo (10/5): Perfect! - wonderful apartment, very interesting interior, walking distance to the city center, we really liked it -
- Yann (1/5): A nightmare, to be avoided absolutely/un incunbo da evitare a tutti costi - To be avoided absolutely. Horrible neighbourhood. Very dangerous at night. Very noisy building in the building inhabihed by foreigners families. I felt unsafe at night and very scared. Work under way in the building. Very noisy too. No more water to take a shower or wash my teeth at 10. 00 in the morning. Very bad faith of the owner. Very late check-in at 16.00. No flexibiliy at all for later check out at 12. 00 while cleaning is being done at 14.30. This is probably my worst experience with booking. Com
- Kees (10/5): First choice for Ancona - Very spacious, comfortable and characterful; excellent value for money, convenient to port and rail; a very attentive host. Noisy environs.
- Stephen (8/5): A good week in Ancona - Spacious apartment. Very comfortable bed. Everything worked, including the washing machine once we understood the controls! Airer also provided for drying clothes.
Very friendly, responsive, and helpful owner.
Access using a secure key box was straightforward.
On good bus routes into the old town (or 20 min walk past the port), with some excellent restaurants to try. Supermarket within 5 min walk, particularly good for fruit and vegetables. Station 15 min walk. Good trains to other towns from there ( e.g. Ascoli). Train and bus to Urbino takes 2 hours.
Altogether a good base for a week's stay in a new and very interesting part of Italy for us.
Excellent WiFi service in the apartment throughout our stay. It is 55 steps up the stairs from the entrance hall. Fine for us (good daily exercise 2-3 times a day!), but could be difficult for people with heavy luggage. We just had a couple of modest bags each, travelling by train from the UK.
Helpful to have towels provided (we did not bring any), but they were rather on the small side for us.
It was mostly very hot in Ancona (35 C most days). Shutters on all the windows were good. The two fans also worked well, but a larger fan would be useful to really cool the apartment down in hot weather.
- Rebecca (7/5): Served our purpose as an overnight stay. - Clean and everything was fine in the flat. It was a comfortable place to stay and well decorated. Convenient location as near to the port and the train station. The location was convenient but didn’t feel too safe and the staircase up to the flat didn’t feel secure and was quite grotty.
- Timo (10/5): Good stay in an old style Italian appartment. - Between port and railway station, ideal if you need to take the ship. Clean, very nice host. Third floor - you need to get up, but once you are there you know you have found it.
- Cristina (7/5): I would visit Ancona again but stay in town center. - Handy location to the ferry. There was no air conditioning which would be ok if you have better fans. Also the area/building is a little run down.
- Marcin (10/5): Exceptional - Very close to the center and railway station. Comfortable stay with the familly. Excellent contact with the host.
- Robert (8/5): Very good - The proximity to the port and train station Three flights of stairs and stairwell needed better lighting.
- Michael (6/5): was OK for the night - great room felt like 100 stairs, 3rd floor.. was a nightmare!
- Jakub (10/5): i’d stay anytime again! - spacious, tasteful, helpful staff, i would appreciate coffee powder not just instant.
- Ineska (7/5): We liked it here for one night stay. The apartman was easy to find and had everything necessary. - the property inside was as in the pictures, clean, with towels and bed sheets. It is on the main street close to the harbour, the parking places are within 350 m walking distance. The host explained everything necessary in advance, nice communication. We didn't have any issues to solve. The apartment is on the 3rd floor without an elevator, so in the case of some older visitors, it would be a huge problem. The view is to the street, not on the sea, but better than to the main street :)
