- HemamavS (1/5): Far below expectations – cleanliness and hygiene poor - The interior looked nice. We left the same day we arrived. The garden was overgrown, messy, with a hot tub full of stagnant water and plants, a wheelbarrow of foul water attracting mosquitoes, dirty chairs, and a greasy BBQ. Inside: snus on the floor, dirty glasses, heavy dust on lamps, and black insect-filled grime in corners. Beds had stains and insect traces — we feared bedbugs. We didn’t unpack and placed all belongings on tables. We immediately contacted the host via Booking, but he insisted the house was clean and hot tub usable. We replied politely, but no real solution was offered. Booking only offered 10% compensation, which is not fair given the condition. We've rented homes in Denmark before, including via Novasol, and never experienced anything like this. The photos speak for themselves.
