- Susan (10/5): Wonderful, would recommend without hesitation and happily return. - The apartment was absolutely lovely, a great, peaceful location with wonderful views, exceptionally well laid out and beautifully decorated, with lots of thoughtful little touches. Even though we didn't meet Natalie, she was a wonderful host, very quick to respond to queries and very helpful. We also really liked how close we were to two great beachside cafés (The Paddock and Pirates of the Coffeebean) and an excellent pub/restaurant (The Tavern). Not one thing.
- emilio (9/5): Posto bellissimo e accogliente. Host molto disponibile - La struttura era molto confortevole, ordinata e pulita Unica nota non obbligatoria: non c’era del bagnoschiuma o shampoo da poter usare
- paula (10/5): Great location So comfortable and warm Loved the buns, eggs and milk that was supplied - Everything

- Jane (10/5): Elegant, stylish, cosy accommodation in the most beautiful place in Ireland - The Blue Door is the most beautiful place to stay in the most beautiful county of Ireland. This roof-top apartment is elegant, stylish, modern and also very cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The apartment is very well equipped with everything one needs, and it's also decorated and furnished to a very high standard, with a great eye for detail- we loved the matching toaster/microwave and kettle! The whole apartment is wonderfully colour-coordinated, down to the tiniest detail. Natalie was a such a welcoming, generous and kind host. On arrival, there was milk and eggs in the fridge, and plenty of tea, coffee and some cream buns as a treat, and other supplies. There was also a plentiful supply of towels - all matching the decor! Natalie was always ready to help. She answered every little question very promptly and efficiently and was incredibly helpful, even though she was away throughout our visit and we didn't actually meet her in person. When there was one very minor issue - the corkscrew had inexplicably disappeared and we wanted to open a bottle of wine - Natalie arranged that a corkscrew would be immediately provided by the local shop and even generously sent us a box of chocolates as a gift. The views and location are stunning. Unbeatable! Ten out of ten for everything and thanks a million. Liked everything
- Matthew (10/5): - Because they knew that it was my birthday they went to the effort of leaving some happy birthday balloons and some buns. I thought that was a lovely touch.

- Jean (10/5): A beautiful place - Location and how pretty the apartment is. Very well equipped and spotless. I felt the mattress was a bit hard for me. But only a minor issue.
- caroline (10/5): Loved the whole area, great beach, Thatch in Glenties 10/10 for food. - Very cosy property, great location.
Met the locals in the Tavern (pub), all very friendly. Would like to have glasses instead of plastic ones but didn’t dampen our stay😊
- Rozalyn Williams (10/5): - Perfect location for a rowing event at Nairn Beach, Portnoo
Clean cosy apartment with everything we needed
Would have loved to stay longer No socket next to bed, maybe an extension cable to charge phone?
- Rory (9/5): -
- Justin (9/5): - Fabulous countryside beautiful scenery and beaches. Highly recommend the area. You needed a car to get anywhere. Roads were too narrow and therefore too dangerous for walking.
- Carol (10/5): -
- Angela (9/5): Superb - The view, outdoor space and seating, the light and decor in the apartment, welcoming necessary groceries. ✨️ No iron/ironing board
No sweeping brush
Shower in bath is a little difficult to stand under because end of bath is sloped, shower head would need to extend out a little more to facilitate bath slope.
Not deal breakers just suggestions and would definitely book again.
- Peter (9/5): I would highly recommend a stay at the Blue Door. - Good, clean, modern accommodation with all mod cons required. Fabulous views from the terrace!
- Orlaith (10/5): Exceptional - A stunning wee property, so well kitted out and furnished. Natalie left us a little birthday surprise which was so thoughtful and kind. Location not the best without a car but such a good spot for a stopover on a road trip or a quiet getaway
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful well presented property
- Yuliia (9/5): Superb -
- Evelyn (9/5): Superb - Clean and Comfortable. Enjoyed the scones a nice touch. Steps on way in to apartment. Could do with better lighting.

- Valerie (10/5): Perfect place near beach - I found this place by chance. It’s a brand new property adjoined to a house but totally private. It’s only 5 minutes from the beach in a car and about 20 minutes walk. . Natalie has thought of absolutely everything and it is very well equipped. WiFi and a great view She also very kindly left milk butter and eggs. It is very tastefully
decorated. I would totally recommend this property for a break in beautiful
Donegal. Would like to think I’ll be back sooner rather than later ….
Thanks Natalie 😎 Nothing
