Heat was sufficient to keep you warm during the cold winter. I arrived at 3am due to a flight delay but the hostel was empathetic and gave me clear instructions for the check-in procedures. None

Only stayed one night but kept our bags while we were in Torres del Paine for not much. A little loud at night, there seemed to be an employee on the night shift who was on his phone on loud speaker from about 5am.

Most staff are unprofessional, extremely rude, and picky about customers! - This is a review from someone who checked in, but had the reservation canceled unilaterally and without communication by the hostal, for a nonsensical reason. Lessons for future guests: We need to understand the local accommodation regulations beforehand, including tax exempt policies. Don't expect hotel staff to be basically professional. Don't stay in unprofessional hotels. Don't make hotel staff get upset, otherwise they might do anything. In contrast, the receptionist, Sofia, was patient and polite. Assuming the hostal owner is professional and polite (although it's difficult to see any shared virtues between the sisters in her sister that I've met in person). Assuming the room's soundproofing is perfect (I was kicked out a few hours after checking in. Otherwise I really wanted to experience a perfect soundproofing system). During check-in, the so-called receptionist/cleaner didn't inform me that foreign travelers are exempt from VAT. She even didn't know how much I should be charged, and was constantly contacting others on her phone. After I swiped my credit card to pay for Chilean pesos at the POS machine, I realized myself that no VAT was required when paying in US dollars. The receptionist/cleaner once again exposed her unprofessionalism, not knowing how to cancel the original transaction on the POS machine, and then swipe the card again with the correct amount in US dollars. One hour later, the real receptionist, Sofia, and the owner's sister arrived. Regarding the "cancel POS machine transaction and then swipe the card again" operation, she first claimed to be very experienced, and that it was not difficult at all; then she came up with a bunch of absurd excuses to cover up her unprofessionalism. She never managed to complete the operation and wasted several hours of my time. Then, instead of apologizing, she accused me of interfering their work, not following her ridiculous rules during my stay, and threatened to call the police. I waited in vain for the police, so I went to the police station to file a report myself. During this time, the owner's sister called: she had unilaterally canceled my check-in and allowed other guests to check in, telling me to return to the hostal to collect my luggage. When I returned to the hostal, I found someone had entered my room without permission, taken my luggage, and thrown it on the lobby floor. The hostal only agreed to refund the amount excluding VAT, and only in cash (I paid by credit card). They told me to handle the remaining VAT myself through Booking.com. The whole process was unreasonable and illegal in terms of both the amount and the payment method.

Ordered a taxi for us in a very good price. They also have a luggage storage and it’s super cheap. Felt like home away from home! Nothing!

- Jasmine (9/5): Great, clean, friendly bnb with shared kitchen - Family run accommodation, friendly and helpful. Location is quiet and walking distance to main center. I like that there’s a fully equipped kitchen for sharing. Very clean, and can see the detail and care put into the house. The bathroom in my room had a smell that was not pleasant but leaving the window in the bathroom open helps.

- Johannes (9/5): - Sehr nettes Hostal mit freundlichen Mitarbeitenden, einer ruhigen Lage recht nahe am Wasser und einer brauchbaren Küche und sogar einem eigenen Bad draußen auf dem Gang. Man hat total seine Ruhe. Es ist wirklich ziemlich hellhörig, gerade wenn spät abends noch Gäste nicht sonderlich leise nach Hause kamen.

- Bryan Caminante (8/5): A pleasant budget option just outside the town center - staff were very friendly, although not always physically at the property. for the price, these are great rooms - not super big, but clean, and the kitchen area is well-equipped no breakfast, but honestly, that's better than a bad breakfast (!). The house is a little bit away from the center of town in a completely residential area (most of the town is residential, but on this street, there are no businesses). Because of this, it's quiet, and at night, the barking/fighting/(playing?) dogs of the neighborhood made sleeping more difficult than it should be in a town as sleepy as Puerto Natales
