• Nicola (10/5): Fantastic! - Absolutely fantastic! It was a private and relaxing retreat from a busy few days. The property had everything you could need for your stay. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the sun and for stargazing. I would recommend this property to anyone. Don’t be put off by the construction mentioned in other reviews, there is building work being done but this is done during the day when you are likely out of the property and finished at 4/4:30. It did not impact on our wonderful stay Nothing

• Ram Kishore (9/5): - Great for family and is very cozy. Also one of the best place for stargazing
• Uzma (1/5): Over priced, a building site and not even worth half of what we paid. Felt cheated. - Detached. Felt very cheated. Paid NZ$1,150 for 1 night. Photos showed Mountain View’s, made to look idyllic. In reality a building site! I have photos to show every window faces a tractor, a digger or some machinery. Inside is basic, the least provided for the most money on our trip throughout NZ. If possible keep driving, the lake is stunning but not worth an overnight stay. It’s over crowded, basic facilities and mainly fast food.

• Jeremy (10/5): Experience of home living in Tekapo - Very modern and clean. All the facilities of home. We were travelling light so great to be able wash clothing. Spacious lounge, kitchen and lounge living. 10-15 minute walk to Tekapo shopping/restaurants and Church of the Good Shepherd. Area outside was good to sit at. Nothing too concerning- The development of (holiday) housing around the property has gradually obscured any view of Lake Tekapo. A house was being built quite close, so some industrial noise broke the peaceful surroundings. Taking a short walk up the hill behind gives you a good 360 degree view. Would be nice to see gardens grow up over time.

• Caty (9/5): We loved it - Heated beds, plenty of room, well designed, excellent location Still in the middle of construction around the building but everything about the house itself was exceptional.

• Beijia (10/5): Comfortable and convenient vacation home. - Very warm and comfortable house, fully equipped, all furniture is very new. There is free parking at the entrance, the kitchen is equipped with complete cooking facilities, the towel rack in the bathroom is heated, and the washing machine and dryer are also available for use. There is a map of the Tekepo on the table next to the sofa, which is very convenient. First time using booking, so not very familiar with the process. At first, I couldn't find the key when I checked in, but with the host‘s guidance, I quickly sorted it out. The response was very timely.

Everything had been designed to perfection and the decor was done so thoughtfully! Brand new and modern, but still warm and homely! We especially loved the seat outside perfectly-placed to see the Milky Way. We wish we had stayed longer! We loved everything. Faultless.
