- thi phuong (9/5): Tuyệt vời - Nơi ở sạch sẽ, bạn nhân viên rất nhiệt tình, trải nghiệm ở ngôi nhà tường trình cổ rất thú vị, lúc về còn tặng bọn mình sợi dây đỏ may mắn đeo tay Món ăn sáng cũng tạm được, không được ngon lắm, nhưng nhân viên rất nhiệt tình và chu đáo
Rien

- Việt (10/5): Ancient Homestay at Dong Van Town With Supportive Host - - It is a 100 years old traditional house built from natural earth materials so you can experience the ancient vibe like never before
- Mr. Đoàn - the host - support us very much (where to eat, what to do, which places should you go,...)
- From my knowledge, a part of revenue from this homestay business will be donated to help ethnic minorities kid on the highland
- It only takes 2 mins to go from homestay to Đồng Văn Market, Đồng Văn Square The light from our room is a little bit low but it would not be a big disadvantage as we did not stay in homestay very much.
- Amphi (9/5): Cosy little room with friendly & helpful staffs - This is the first time that I have stayed in a rammed earth house. I had a meaningful conversation with a local guy Đoan about their rich customs and cultural heritage (minority Black Lo Lo). These staffs were wonderful, they did everything to make the room were not smelly of earth. My room was cosy little, it’s perfect for one. One mosquito bet me ^^
- Theunis Matthias (9/5): Leuk authentiek verblijf - De eigenaren waren erg vriendelijk.

- Olivier (9/5): - Personnel hyper sympa.
- Reinoud (9/5): Charmante Homestay maar basis. - Verblijf in gerestaureerde Muong woning, basis comfort (muskietennet, warm water, lekker eten) maar veel charme. Aandacht voor schoonheid door kunstzinnige details. Heel lieve bediening. Super lekker eten.
- Nguyễn (10/5): The weather was not favourable but we have a great host! - The place is amazing and could be the best homestay in Dong Van imo! The host and staff are really friendly and helpful, wonderful people with great hospitality! They even took us to a local tour and made us feel like home. I'd like to come back next time!

- Diễm My (10/5): - Feel like coming to a friend's home 🥰
An acient mud house in the heart of old town Dong Van, always be taken care with so much passionate and positive energy, which you can easily feel the story in each and every corner.
A quiet, warm and peaceful ambience, you will find it really easy to be fit in. Not a place for any trends out there, but probably the one I’ll remember the most after this trip. 🖤

- Makoto (9/5): -
- Trung (10/5): - Một căn nhà đất cổ ấm áp
- Lydia (10/5): The friendliest host, tastiest hotpot and very comfortable bed. - Le petit home looked amazing. When we first drove past, I was hoping this was the place we were going to stay at. A traditional building with a lot of decoration inside. The bed was very comfortable and there was an extra heater and electric heating blanket available. It was our favourite stay on the ha giang loop.

- Rieder (9/5): -
- Eicke (10/5): Auf jeden Fall erleben!

- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexander (7/5): Hidden quiet homestay close to old quarter of Dong Van - I liked the description of the place, which made it look very homey, and cozy. Booked a room with "garden view", which turned out to be facing the alley/small street but definitely no garden. The young host was very attentive and helpful, thank you. It is a homestay with a decent traditional style and some good unique design touches throughout. My room had just the bed, which actually was the most comfortable bed on my whole Hagian Loop, small table and a shelf. Window is closed, so it's a bit dark but arriving late it's totally fine. There's 2 full bathrooms in the house and I think 4 rooms total. Location is fairly quiet, as it's hidden away from the main street, but it's close to old quarter with many restaurants. Overall my stay was comfortable, I felt welcome and taken care of.
- Silvan (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very good food, hot pot was delicious. Thank you again.
- Mark (7/5): pleasant little surprise in the old part of town - The feel of the old building Did not do breakfast
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional - We had an amazing stay at Le Petit Home. The house is primitive, but in a very charming and authentic way. Doan was incredibly kind and helpful with arranging transportation and giving inputs for things to do in the area. Nothing!
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely, cozy place with an amazing host!
- Anastasia (10/5): Dépaysement total - Thanks a lot for your welcome and all the help you providence Nothing
- Hesham (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - The house is really nice and we loved the common space. However, the place is quite pricey for poorly sound proofed rooms with
shared bathrooms. The staff does warn you about this beforehand so we did NOT feel cheated by any means. Staff was very kind and friendly but could not help us with information about transportation which was quite a pity.
I could sum up by saying I'm not too sure about "good value for money" in this case.
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laurane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dorian (10/5): Out of the ordinary! - This is an authentic, Vietnamese homestay. It is a little unusual, but in the best possible way! We found the house to be clean and quirky. The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. The hot pot dinner was educational and very tasty! We stayed one night while riding the Ha Giang Loop, and it suited us perfectly.
- Hingco-evans (7/5): Good -
- Eileen (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (10/5): A beautiful place to stay to experience the people, culture & some history. - An incredible experience with a fantastic host. If you're looking for a little culture & adventure this is your place. It was incredible to meet some locals, try some food & the property itself is beautiful & full of history. Everything was perfect.
- Seann (10/5): Beautiful traditional house with a wonderful host - Despite being a 150+ year old house made from mud this house is very clean. A very polite and helpful host. Tasty hotpot dinner packed with fresh local ingredients. Bed has an electric blanket, wasn’t needed when I visited but I can imagine it will be useful during a cold spell. French toast and coffee for breakfast was the perfect end to my stay here.
Can’t recommend this Homestay enough if you’re looking to stay in the area!
- Francesco (10/5): Exceptional - The atmosphere is amazing, this is a traditional house. Aiden and Doan have done a great job with this homestay. They are extremely nice people and they do a lot to give back to the community. Keep up the great work guys!! Thank you :)
Try their local hotpot, absolutely fantastic!!!
- Filip (9/5): I can recommend this place, it has unique design and owner is super friendly. I especially appreciate heated blanket. - Very nice owner, original interior style, close to town center, heated blanket, tasty breakfast It was quite cold in kitchen, I had to put a jacket on for breakfast
- Nicola (10/5): A perfect stay in a very old and beautiful house - I loved this home! The house is the oldest house in the town and is really beautiful. Aiden is a wonderful host and a very interesting person to talk to. He is passionate about supporting the community and keeping local culture alive. When you stay here you not only get to stay in a beautiful home, but you also feel like you're contributing to something worthwhile.
It is in a quieter part of town, which was perfect for me as I'm not so into the party / karaoke scene.
Definitely recommend this home 🙂
- Samantha (10/5): Stay here for a wonderful and unique experience - Aiden has a vision of serenity and calm and this is it realized.
This is the most wonderful and calming place, from the greenery to the cute design of the rooms it will bring peace to your heart. The bed also had a wonderful heating pad which kept us cozy all night.
- Georg (9/5): Superb - very authentic and original, super friendly and helpful personel, thank you :)
- Hoàng (10/5): Exceptional - I had an amazing time here.
While doing the Ha Giang Loop, I stayed at this homestay for one night, and honestly, it felt like the most “home-like” place on my entire journey.
This is an old traditional house located near the town, not overly luxurious, but incredibly warm and clean. Staying here truly felt like living in a local family’s home.
That evening, I had a delicious hotpot made with fresh local ingredients. The flavors were so unique and special. Sitting by a small fireplace while enjoying dinner, I found myself at a loss for words to describe the warmth and comfort of that moment.
I also had a long and meaningful conversation with the host, who is a local teacher teaching English to children in the area—a truly inspiring social project.
If you’re on the Ha Giang Loop and looking for the most authentic local experience, I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed!
- Dana (10/5): Exceptional - The cutest little home stay I have ever been to. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable after a long ride to Dong Van. The hotpot was absolutely incredible for dinner! The rooms get cold because it’s a quaint little building but they provide electric blankets to keep you cosy.
- Romain (10/5): Exceptional - The home is beautiful, authentic and the host is very welcoming and friendly. The food was very good as well. nothing
- Raquel (10/5): Nice experience - It was a nice experience to spend a day in such an old house. It was renovated with great taste and a lot of love. Everything was very clean. The owner is very helpful and very interesting to talk to. The breakfast is delicious. There is an electric blanket on the bed so you don't get cold at all. But the rest of the house is a little bit cold.
- Adriana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adriana (10/5): The host is amazing. Super friendly a really nice energy. His cooking is amazing. Definitely try the hotpot here! - The property is beautiful and very well kept. A little cold for winter months
- Fanny (10/5): Warm welcome in authentic vietnamese house - We were warmly welcomed by the host in his very authentic house. We loved the welcome and the hotpot dinner organised for us as well as the breakfast. Everything was warm especially the hot bed in winter was perfect.
- Petra (9/5): Special! - the atmosphere of an old Hmong house, the staff who was also teaching english at schools, his motivation to run this place in a peacefull and respectfull way; breakfast french toast delicious.
a perfect atmosphere for christmas;)
- Elcio (10/5): Exceptional - Aidan is a fantastic person, his knowledge and project are mind blowing! 100% recommended
the house is super cozy, food is great, super hot showers and the best part for a cold night is the electric blanket :)
- Catherine (9/5): Cute little place, great staff, good location - Cute little place near to the main part of town. It’s the staff that really make this place though. Super friendly and helpful - they went out of their way to tailor my breakfast to my dietary requirements (going out to buy fresh produce) and gave me extra fruit for my big hike that day smile 😊 The rooms were clean and cosy, although the walls are very thin so can hear surrounding noise. Just a little noisy, but it was the weekend and it is to be expected when staying in a 100 year old house!
- Jan (10/5): Perfect stay in Dong Van with a lovely host in a lovely home! - We stayed in Le Petit Home for 3 nights and met the most amazing and helpful host and staff! We felt like at home, had the most delicious vegan hotpot and pancakes every morning. The house itself is very pretty and in a hidden neighborhood. Nothing really, the street can be a bit noisy in the morning.
- Ivan⁰ (10/5): Feel like home - Amazing pancake. Nice and helpful host. Unique decoration. Authentic vibe. Aiden is the most awesome person that I have ever met during my trips. I appriciate all the things you have contributed for the local people here. Keep going up. Cheers. The toilet is outside but still ok for an ancient house
- Michael (10/5): Just do it it’s worth it 🙏🏾 - 107 year old clay building with a very special vibe, open kitchen and amazing breakfast. The host was the most wholesome person I’ve met so far on my Trips.
- Aneta (10/5): Hidden gem of Dong Van. Very friendly host, stylish-authentic interior and homemade breakfast. So far the nicest stay in -
