• Matthew MW (8/5): - Great location on an estuary. Despite the wet weather during our stay, it was ideal for a few nights in Tauranga. Main room, living area has no outlook, and was too wet to be outside which is obviously a lovely spot.

• Louise (8/5): I would definitely recommend; quiet, close to everything, walking distance to walkways and main road - Great location, great view and we loved the garden. Easy walk to the walkways around the water and just sitting in the garden watching the walkers. No major grips, the drive was probably better suited to a smaller car (we had an old ute) and the walk from the car to the accommodation was a bit steep

• Stacey (9/5): - This place was great. It was so equipped there was nothing extra that we required. The price was excellent, and the location was good. The host was excellent at communicating. The towel rail in the bathroom was a bit of a hazard. I brushed my head on it, if I was taller it would have been painful. It missed the finer details when it came to cleaning. Needs a deep clean in bathroom and kitchen. It was like visiting a friend's place clean but not spotless. Having said that, not gross and would definitely book again.

• Bassett (10/5): Stop off before the airport - It was spacious, clean, very comfortable, and warm. Wasn't too far from the airport or shops. The host was lovely, too. The little step in the bathroom tripped us up a few times until we remembered it was there, but other than that, it was a cozy accommodation.

The drive-way was a bit intimidating, but that can’t be helped. The queen bedroom got a bit hot and stuffy at night, so a pedestal fan would have been good.

It was very spacious, there were only 2 of us but you could easily fit a couple more as there is a king single and fold out sofa in the lounge area. Kitchen had pretty everything we needed, right down to gladwrap! Nice and quiet area. And a nice area outside to enjoy. Just to be aware of the step into the bathroom!
• Karen (7/5): peaceful , spacious apartment - great apartment with beautiful views ( day and night ) of the inner bay.questins answered promptly . quiet and restful. i didn’t have a car, and most places i wanted to go were quite far away. there is a small market close by . restaurants required uber. with car, it would be perfect . i still walked 6-7 miles to tour city and uber every day as well to get to and from bus station . owner didn’t know the stop by them were cancelled awhile ago . knew nothing of bus system . there are loads of public transit that one could use . again 3-4 transfers to get where i wanted to go ( but one could do that )& opted for uber . no transport from bus station ( intercity )available .

The views were absolutely spectacular! Easy to find. Bathroom, nice bathroom, the shower is raised and so I didn’t fit in there myself without hitting the roof, and there is no ventilation to it, so have to open windows as soon as your done otherwise it stays wet. Other than that nothing was wrong.

Everything you need is close, and there are lovely walks around the local area. We highly recommend this property. Our hostess was away dealing with a family emergency, but communication was excellent. No problems with anything and no complaints.

• Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Good location with a lovely view of the estuary and a nice garden to sit in the sun and chill with a drink after a busy day out. Shops are only a short drive away. Tea, coffee and milk was available to get you started on arrival. Good correspondence just prior to arrival giving information regarding parking and entry to the property. Cooking facilities were very good particularly the electric frying pans which were a real asset to us. Would definitely consider staying again if going back to the area. Not a dislike but awareness that the driveway is steep for reaching the property, unfortunately that's due to the location. I didn't have a problem with my vehicle (SUV) but it could be a problem if you have a people carrier type vehicle in which case you may need to park roadside as it is also quite tight to turn around.
