Guest Reviews
- Dee X (6/5): Disappointing apartment - Location was good. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Bed is a small double, did not sleep well. It's not suitable for two adults and the room could have fitted a proper double in.
The finishing of the apartment was poor and is overdue some maintenance. Smoke alarm in the hallway is hanging from the ceiling, lights in bedroom and hall are bare bulbs which is fine if it's a squat, but not a £120 per night apartment.
The freezer is unusable as it completely iced up due to a door not fitting properly. This is a quick fix, so why not do it? Hardly any washing up liquid left and that was watered down anyway. Had to hunt for the toilet roll. Some in the bathroom would be a good idea.
Bedside light would be a good idea as mentioned in other reviews.
The sheets for the sofabed were damp and tatty.
Two towels for three adults isn't enough.
Also not very clean. Hair and ingrained dirt on edges of floor, and sticky dirty marks on bedside table.
Not good.
- Danijel (10/5): - Everything was great! Location is perfect in a street full of fast food places, bars and shops and very close to a tram station. The kitchen has everything to cover basic needs for a few days and the apartment itself was clean and comfortable. One minor issue is that the sofa bed is unsupported on one side so if you lean on that side the whole bed falls down, so keep that in mind, but it is absolutely avoidable if you sleep on the other side (or in the double bed in the bedroom)
- Leroy (9/5): Fabulous stay in the heart of Chorlton - Fabulous single bedroom flat in the heart of Chorlton Cum-Hardy.
Facilities were ideal, and comfortable for my stay.
Access to the Tram made traveling into the centre a breeze, or a day trip out to the outskirts.
Fabulous place and would highly recommend it as a value for money and comfort spot It got a little too warm but there is now a small fan. And there wasn't a drying rack available for washing.
- Linda (8/5): A great apartment. Would absolutely stay here again. - Modern and fresh apartment. The staircase smelled like mold.
- Abigail (5/5): Passable - Good distance from a few pubs and shops, we didn’t have a problem with noise from the road while in the bedroom. The host was very friendly and quickly responded to messages! It looks nice and modern in the kitchen too! It could have definitely been cleaner, there was a few dead flies dotted around and there was a very strong smell somewhat like cat wee, it was so overpowering we had to keep the windows open the whole time or the smell would get stronger, seemed to be coming from the bathroom
- Paull (1/5): Disappointing. - This was very disappointing. Indeed I chose not to stay. I accept my view and standard of expectation may well not align with others, but this did not feel clean and I was not prepared to sleep in the bed. When we arrived every window in the home was open to eradicate what was a strange smell. The bedding, particularly the quilt and pillows did not look fresh. There were no towels out, we did find some stuffed at the top of a wardrobe but they also were not fresh. There were no toiletries and no toilet roll, basic items I would have expected. The main area was fine and useable but given the poor quality bedding i decided not to stay. Overall a disappointing booking but maybe my expectations were too high.
- Madeleine (8/5): Very good - Good location nice and tidy, only downside was the bed was very very small for 2 people, I'm not sure it's a double? My husband is particularly tall so he slept in the bed diagonally and I had to sleep on the sofa bed
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Hilary (4/5): Disappointing - Close to chorlton The kitchen was very poorly equipped.
There wasn't anything to heat food up in the oven / microwave ior prepare meals. Only a couple of saucepans and a frying pan.
So this apartment is only of use if you plan to eat out or have takeaways.
I was traveling with my son who'd just come out of hospital and I needed to prepare our own food.
- Katrina (9/5): Superb - The flat was spotlessly clean and in excellent condition. It was also very quiet - despite being on a main road I couldn't hear any traffic. It is walking distance to Morrison's and Co-op and in an area with lots of restaurants and cafes. The heating worked quickly and efficiently. The owner was very helpful when contacted. I think the host could have provided a shower mat, a bedside light (I moved the desk lamp there instead) and a bit more kitchen equipment - for instance there wasn't a baking tray or dish to go in the oven so I had to balance some fishcakes I had bought across the bars of the oven shelf and hope that they didn't break up or leak. I also had to mix up a salad in a saucepan as there wasn't a large bowl/serving dish.
- Gold (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (9/5): Will be back - Location was amazing - so easy to get the tram in to centre and media city etc Road noise - if sleeping in sofa bed - maybe some heavy curtains would help - luckily I always travel with earplugs !
- Sarah-louise (10/5): Will stay again - Great location. Close to tram network. Dogs loved it, park nearby for walks. Could do with an oven tray for cooking.
- Matthew (9/5): Excellent we apartment - As we went over for the match theclocation was excellent 20 minute walk to old trafford. There's plenty of facilities right next to you local shops cafes and even bars and restaurants.great location. Not much really maybe the noise at night time as it was s built up area but other than that it was grand.
- Gerardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fatyan (10/5): Fantastic stay in Manchester - Loved our stay in this bright and potless flat! It was comfortable and well-equipped - perfect for a short trip.
Location was ideal, close to shops and restaurants with the tram just a 3-minute walk away. Easy to get to the city centre in less than 15 minutes. The host was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Perfect for 2 adults, it had everything we needed. Everything was perfect
- Katerina (10/5): Exceptional - The place was clean and comfortable, you could tell effort had been made to prepare the property for guests. I would stay again
