• Stella (1/5): Overcharged and refused a direct refund, plus the room was dirty with unchanged, stained sheets and no hot water. - None We were overcharged and told to contact Booking.com instead of being refunded directly. The room was also not properly cleaned—the sheets hadn’t been changed and still had visible stains. On top of that, there was no hot water. Overall, very poor service and unacceptable conditions.

• Juan Carlos (5/5): Queja por ataque de perro Rottweiler. - Baño limpio Tenían un perro rottweiler en el parqueo y no fuimos informados, mi esposa tiene discapacidad autismo e hipertensa. El perro se lanzó sobre ella en varias ocasiones de manera hostil. El personal no hizo nada por ayudar o mantener el perro amarrado. Mi esposa sufrió una crisis de ansiedad y se le subió la presión. No se disculparon por el evento del perro y lo tomaron de forma graciosa. Luego nos cobraron 2 veces la tarifa del hotel y aún no he recibido el reintegro. No volveremos ni recomendaremos a nuestros amigos y allegados este lugar.

• Aimee (5/5): Overall, not worth the price. A very simple stay. - Location was good. Our stay was odd because we got there and there was no water on that side of town. The water eventually came back on late at night but the pump wasn’t working in our room. The room was also missing towels and the AC didn’t work. The manager was super helpful and tried to fix it all, but eventually they had us just move rooms. Unfortunately, we also discovered cockroaches in both rooms. Another thing was we were expecting breakfast because it’s listed on the booking.com website - but once we got there it says no breakfast on Mondays. It does say this on booking, but only after you reserve the room. This should be indicated before you reserve because this was one of the main reasons I booked this place.

• Becca (8/5): Great Airport Hotel for one night! - The property was an easy taxi ride to Liberia Airport and a close to walk to Walmart and a few restaurants. They organized the taxi for me, which was very helpful. The rooms are super simple. My room (0), was close to reception, which meant hearing conversations, laundry, cars pulling up and other noises. I was worried this would continue throughout the night… however, it died down as the evening rolled along, so over all I slept well, as my flight was early. I wish the room had a coffee machine, as the restaurant didn’t open until 6am and I had to leave long before that.

• Lisa (6/5): A little scary - It was close to the airport in Liberia. It just didn't feel safe. There were multiple entrance doors to our hotel room, three in total. Plus there was a room attached that looked like a work room where you would pluck a chicken or something. It was really creepy. We put chairs against all of the doors so that they would make noise if they were opened. We did get much sleep. It was just me and my 12-year-old daughter.

• Brusuelas (10/5): Boutique style hotel in a safe neighborhood close to the airport, and walking distance to the store. - It was a great experience staying in a hotel located on a quiet neighborhood street instead of a major street. If you are traveling like me, and needed a placed to stay for the night until my flight left the next day, this is a perfect resting spot. We got the shuttle to dropped us off at McDonald's down the street, and it was a short 10-20 minute walk to the property.

• Laura (6/5): Adequate stay in a basic motel room that is convenient to the airport. - It was a convenient place to stay to get to the airport quickly. Communication with the property was excellent. We had to modify our reservation and the property was very responsive. Our two-bed room was clean and big enough to be comfortable. The air conditioning worked great and the WiFi was also good. Over all it was a functional and economical place to stay for one night. There was no hot water to speak of. One of us took a shower and one of us skipped it due to the measly lukewarm stream of water available. There were no conveniences like a hair dryer or shampoos. There was also barely a trickle of water coming out of the tap. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable but for a one night stay it was ok.

We got there later in the evening and we were happy that the attached restaurant was still open. Food in the restaurant was great!!! The ladies in the restaurant were so helpful with information. (My Spanish is sub - par but we were able to communicate just fine.) The location is away from the center of town, but we chose this hotel because of that. Interbus makes a stop at the hotel, which we used to get to Monteverde. They arranged a shuttle pick up for us from the Airport to the hotel. Daniel (shuttle driver) was a really nice person. I would recommend him for any shuttles in the area or to other parts of Costa Rica.

Unfortunately, even for the great price, we expected at least some basic amenities... we didn't have basics including a kettle (to make boiling water), mugs & spoons. The shower had bad temperature control and was only a dribble of water. Also, just a small thing, the rooms required a key to be used to get out of the room... if there was an emergency or fire, it's not the best! (needs an easy-open basic thumb-turn lock on the inside). But the staff were really nice and helpful!
