Guest Reviews
- Dr. med. Reinhilde (8/5): Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis mitten in Rom. - Liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartement in altem Gemäuer. Geschmackvoll. Ausgezeichnete Lage. Eine Flasche Wein und Naschereien von der Gastgeberin. Guter Kontakt über WhatsApp mit der Gastgeberin. Römischer Trinkbrunnen direkt vor dem Haus. Schöne Fotos an den Wänden vom Viertel. Mitten in Rom.
- Andre (8/5): For the price nothing beats this accommodation. - the location in the centre of Rome. the shower time is very limited. we missed some night stands.

- Donald (10/5): We had a fantastic time, we will definitely be back. - The location was perfect for exploring the city, it was only a short walk to all the major sites and attractions. A curtain for the window to the hallway would be a nice upgrade.
lenzuola e asciugamani puliti, pentole e stoviglie nuove.

- Federica (7/5): -
- A (9/5): Wonderful location in vibrant Rome City - Great Location - in the middle of cultural Rome - everything important to see is within walking distance.
The little apartment is really small, but very cozy! The host is very welcoming and caring! Even the check in as well as check out could be changed. The bed could be a little more comfy :) but that’s just a personal reference.
- FACUNDO (10/5): -

- Imogen (9/5): Amazing! Would recommend! - Lovely host. Amazing location. Amazing price. A/C unit. Fridge+Hob. Everything you need and more such as first aid kit, period products, hair straighteners/dryer, kitchen and bathroom essentials. Complimentary biscuits/sweets, toothbrush+shower cap and more! Honestly loads. Perfect for our stay! We would stay here again! Only downside for us would be that the hot water ran out after about 5-10minutes in the shower.
- Juan Carlos (10/5): -
- Harry (10/5): It was an amazing find - The property is in a great location, it is center to everything and waking distance to everything. The apartment was clean and comfortable, what more do you want? I would highly recommend this place for any solo traveler
- Rachel (7/5): Good -
- Sandra (8/5): Brilliant. Highly recommend. - Very clean. Super location. Amazing friendly lady to meet us. Highly recommend. No bed. Only a sofa bed.
- Marwa (10/5): cosy beautiful and affordable place - The availability of everything you can imagine nothing all was okey
- Fedor (10/5): Exceptional - Location is the best! And the owner is very kind and helpful It was too hot to sleep in the upper section of the room
- Milena (5/5): Passable -
- Natalia (9/5): Superb - I cannot imagine a better location, it's in the heart of Rome. Walking distance to most of the touristic sites. The appartment has everything you need for several days stay. You cannot have anything better for this price. Lack of the window
- Yiming (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location, very close to Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori, walkable distance to St Peter's Basilica. Cosy and quiet at night. Host was very helpful and gave a lot of tips on where to go and eat nearby. Hot water in showers is inconsistent and runs out quickly
- Faidra (10/5): Exceptional - Tiego was the most wonderful host. He sent us every little detail about the region, he was always available and waited for us to give the keys even though our flight was delayed. He was really helpful as I had an accident and had to be in the hospital and he let us stay more until we had the time to pack normally and not to be rushed in my condition. The house is super convenient and in a really nice neighborhood, everything is so close. If ever again in Rome I would choose again and I totally recommend to anyone. Everything was perfect!
- Patryk (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment with amazing location. Plenty of nice food places around and very close to Trastevere where you can spend a nice evening. The host was amazing and reached out to me couple of days before my arrival to ensure everything is in order and ready for our arrival. Diego provided us with a little guide and pretty much planned our 3 days for us so we didn't have to do much research either. Apartment itself is very cosy and meets all necessary standards to enjoy your stay. Perfect for a couple!
- Adam (10/5): Awesome apartment in a perfect location - Location is absolutely perfect for exploring Rome on foot. Peaceful and quiet, safe, easy to find. Felt like home for four nights. I love the gorgeous little street it is locating along, I always felt like a local when coming in to the property.
The little kitchen had lots of supplies to make your own food.
I love the cozy feel and the little touches that really bring the place a feeling of life. The pull out bed was surprisingly comfy and big! That bathroom has everything you need and a nice bidet to add to the experience.
Access to Campo de Fiori is remarkably quick, just turn right once you exit the front door and you’re there in a couple of minutes. Piazza Navona is also very close. It is this perfect location where you can take an evening stroll through Trastevere, up past the Largo di Argentina, and end at the Spanish Steps before heading back via Piazza Navona. That was my favourite way to cap off each day. I could not have chosen a more perfect location for peace and quiet, and perfect proximity to EVERYTHING.
- László (8/5): Great location. - Great location in historic district. Few minutes walking only to most top attractions. Apartment is on ground level. So there is need to climb stairs. Noisy restaurant on the street that is close-by.
- Chance (7/5): Good -
- Blake (10/5): Perfect location, facilities and excellent host which made our stay really nice! - The space was very nice, had everything you need and the host was super accommodating and helpful! Would highly recommend to others
- Denise (8/5): Diego, the host, was super helpfull and kind. He gave us great recommendatios and was always available. The location can -
- Brittany (10/5): wonderful stay!!!! - its a beautiful, clean, central location! we absolutely loved staying here! He was so accommodating and kind to us! and it was such a beautiful little apartment just like the pictures nothing!
- Folke (7/5): Great location. Tiny, functional place with no windows. - The location is absolutely great. The place is cool which was great in the summer heat. The apartment is tiny but functional. Good communication with very nice staff. The apartment has no windows, just a tiny opening towards the staircase. The ventilation is by air conditioning. The air inside is damp and slightly stuffy. The bed is not in the tiny alcove upstairs but on a comfortable bed sofa downstairs that takes up a lot of space.
- Nicholas (9/5): Superb -
- Marlene (9/5): Wonderful stay at a perfect location - Friendly welcome, perfect location in Rome, the coziness of the place It is more suitable for couples and solo travellers, in Rome space is very limited, the upstairs bed is not recommended due to the tiny space between the bed and ceiling
- Felicity (9/5): Superb - the location was perfect and Julia the host was amazing.
She gave us helpful recommendations and was so kind to us.
The apartment had a very homey feel to it with a massive mirror which made it feel bigger than it was.
right in the centre of rome, this place was perfect for our stay.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Great location & local restaurants, imaginative use of the space & easy to access buses to explore - Excellent use of the space with plenty of character, which was perfect for two (mother and daughter) for 3 nights - great location with restaurants, atmosphere and easy access by bus to everywhere we wanted to go including the station for a day trip to Pompeii. The property was in the central lower ground floor of the building so ideal for those who don't want to climb stairs (unless you sleep in the top bed area!) which remained lovely and cool in hot weather, with good lighting inside to compensate for the lack of natural light. We loved it - thank you!
- Esref (7/5): Good - Nearly city centre Room is small and there is no window. When you are in room, you can't see sunrise
- Christoforos (8/5): Very good - The location was awesome. We could just walk to so many sites and places. Diego, who welcomed us, was very helpful, friendly, and caring. The room was a bit small but comfy. The bathroom also. But it compensated with the awesome location.
- Ang (10/5): Best spot in Rome! - I loved everything about this apartment! It has everything you need! It's central, close to all attractions and many restaurants! The host has been amazing! Provided many recommendations. Will be back Loved it all!
- Peter (6/5): We enjoyed Rome, and this apartment's location was a perfect place to explore the city. - Great location, next to Campo di Fiori, plenty of good restaurants and all the sites are only minutes away. Diego was very helpful and provided a lot of useful information on where to go, where to eat and what to see. The apartment was a bit cramped, with no windows which made it feel a bit claustrophobic. There wasn't much closet space for hanging clothes.
- Valantis1992 (7/5): Good - Cozy place
Amazing location 2/4 days we were forced to wake up from 8 in morning due to maintenance to the next apartment or renovations of the common spaces
- Colin (9/5): Great pie à terre for exploring Rome - Nice quiet area near the centre of Rome A little cramped but manageable
- Alina (9/5): Superb - The owner is one of the best hosts we encountered in our holidays. Helpful and friendly. He gave us many informations about travel tips and places to visit and eat.
We're definitely recommend this place, as is really close to most of the attractions.
Fridge and kitchenette was a big bonus. Not enough ventilation.
- Mayra (7/5): Good - Location is great. Near from most tourist attractions. Diego is super friendly and he gave us all the support and advice to have good food.
- Kamila (8/5): Very good - The location is perfect, a beatiful historical building right in the heart of Rome. The host is extremely nice, the arrival process was easy and everything worked out great. The host even gave us recommendations for local restaurants, where to get groceries, and other useful information. The apartment lacks a window and while it does have an AC unit, it was hard to get fresh air in.
- Maximilian (8/5): Nice apartment in a cool area. - The appartment was in a very nice area and cutely furnished. Everything one could need was there. The room had only a very small window opening into the hallway, hence it was hard to vent and a bit moist.
- Mati (10/5): Exceptional - Just what I needed. Great location, you can walk to all the points of interest. Perfect for solo travelers. It can get a little noisy in the mornings, but it's just a minor detail. No complaints, really.
- Zan (7/5): Nice stay but nothing really worth to be bragging about - Location is good, room is also quite cool and remains cool when it was 40C outside, room has most of amenities that you need upper bed is practically unusable since there were only pillows, also head room is really small there. Sofa as the man bed is ok, but it could be better, everything inside very basic, price/performance is not so good if you pay too much for the room
- Emily (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent, very easy to access all main attractions and lots of great food places very close and the host was lovely and helpful. -
- Anonymous (9/5): Location makes it all the way comfortable and easier to reach to every place on foot. - Location is very good Room is compact
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - The host was amazing! So lovely & welcoming, gave us loads of great recommendations & made us feel so at home.
- Tara-alexandra (10/5): Perfect for a couple looking for an affordable and well located place to sleep in Rome. - It’s very well located and affordable! No windows
- Mylène (8/5): great location, very helpful host. - perfect location. extremely helpful host. there is no natural light. i would find it difficult for longer stays. it was not an issue for a short stay, as i did not spend a lit of time on site.
- Noor (9/5): Excellent - The location was ideal for this price range. We walked to all of the sites. The street was very lively and felt really safe. Despite being a small loft, it had EVERYTHING we needed, including an iron and warm water to shower. The place could use a small closet.
- Rachel (9/5): Pefect little apartment for my November birthday bohemian break in Rome. - cute bohemian apartment, perfect location, very helpful host, we would stay again. The character of the apartment and the location.
- June (8/5): Cozy Place - The location was great, there were also plenty of restaurants and the attractions were mostly of walking distance. Amazing communication from the host as well. The apartment was a little damp but it didn't affect me so much!
- Lovre (8/5): Very good -
- Nina (8/5): Great locaton and great host! - The apartment has a perfect location in the middle of the city just beside a couple of nice restaurants. I recommend everybody to try Barnums around the corner which serves excellent and fresh breakfast-combos.
You have a waterfountain 2 m from the front door where you can fill up cold fresh water before you start your stroll :) . It's a small cosy apartment with a loft, bedsofa, a small fridge, shower, TV with Netflix and free WiFi and most important. AC.
The host was very friendly and we asked for his tip on restaurants etc which he gladly texted us right away.
He was very welcoming and we felt really good about renting from him. Rome is wonderful with undescribably much to see so bring your best sneakers!
Would definately recommend others to book La Perla nera The basement-smell but I think It's impossible to get rid of since it is located a bit inside the building and doesn't have any Windows. It quickly got a bit moist in the apartment and you need the AC going the whole time.
