- Ricky (7/5): Not a 'private apartment' - very awkward houseguest arrangement - hostel-like experience - Convenient for an overnight stay to catch an early flight out of MCO. Very pleasant host at the house. Our review is not to cast a bad reflection on our host, but all should read our 'What didn't you like?' section before booking. We expected our stay to be in an attached private 'apartment' as part of this residence. In fact, it was right in the home - an upstairs bedroom that was one of three available for guest stays. The upstair was a loft arrangement with three bedrooms and only two bathrooms to support guests. So, guests are literally a part of the household as it is open to the downstairs overlooking a half wall. Fortunately, there were no other guests booked, as this would have been incredibly awkward for our stay. As it was, it was not a comfortable arrangement for us at all. Towels were still in the dryer at check-in and I retrieved them from the dryer myself after returning from dinner.
