Guest Reviews
- Michelle (7/5): It was ok other then that nasty smelling water - It was quite The shower was small and the water smelled like rotten eggs . He took a shower and had the whole place smelling horrible due to the water . I could shower after he showered due to the smell had to use bottles of water to brush my teeth
- Laurie (8/5): A lovely spot to stay; close to my friend I was visiting. - Quiet, lovely yard, spacious, airy bedroom. Kitchen was equipped and stocked. Recycling from previous tenant was still in kitchen
Floor appeared to not have been swept
Kitchen chair had sticky residue on seat
Property manager did not respond to my email about removing the recycling and dirty floor
- Heather (10/5): Cozy and quiet - It was centrally located to all of our plans N/A
- Janis (8/5): Clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay. - It was clean and quiet, close to town. The fridge froze everything, which would not have been a big deal but my dog is on insulin and I had to throw away one of her pens because it froze.
- Holly (3/5): Drive a little further for a better stay - Location and the quiet area The heat was non-existent in the kitchen and it was freezing in the winter. There was one bedroom without heat and it had an extension cord leading into the water heater area for a small heater so the pipes wouldn't freeze. The door to this area remained open and allowed bugs to enter. We also found dirty underwear in a drawer...ewwww. The main bedroom had a large wall heater that melted things near it like plastic. It isn't safe for kids or pets as it is boiling hot to touch. The bed frame was bent and the bed was quite bouncy. There also was a step up in the bathroom toilet that was dangerous for tripping on into the toilet or sink. Overall it shouldn't be rented during the winter. It needs ADA adjustments for safety.
Updates should also be for the small bedroom as the only plug is in the way of the futon. The futon is very uncomfortable.
- Tim (10/5): Comfy and cozy in the heart of the Catskills - Great location and comfortable furnishings The heater is a little loud, but it works great.
- Melissa (6/5): Pleasant - It was a great location close to skiing and outdoor activities We realized the second night of our stay we didn’t have any hot water after a long day of skiing. The property manager was very nice and responsive via text but wasn’t able to come out to the property until later that evening. At that point we had already taken cold showers and just wanted to go to bed.
