• Erwin (8/5): Must do, uniek. - Live your dreams! Dit was er een. Wat een fantastisch verblijf. Erg mooi, rustig en je hoeft alleen maar te genieten. Wel moet je je vertier zelf zoeken. Het restaurant sluit al om 10 uur en dan is er ook helemaal niets meer te doen. Een boek op de veranda rest. Ook wel eens lekker. Ik vond het eten wat minder intens van smaak dan dat ik daarvoor in Thailand heb gehad. Maar dat is smaak.

Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ausgezeichnet - mit für ein Hotel dieser Qualität moderaten Preisen. Das Frühstück war nicht außergewöhnlich, aber völlig zufriedenstellend.

• danielle (10/5): Exceptional - It was incredible. From the moment we arrived we were treated exceptionally well. Our room was perfect, so large and luxurious. The bed was huge and so comfy. The decking outside our room was just amazing and we would sit out and watch the boats go past. The indoor outdoor shower was lovely. The massages were to die for. The food was delicious and we jumped off the pontoon and into the river. Bugs but this can’t be helped and we expected it due to the location. But this wouldn’t put us off staying again and there were nets.

• Lea (10/5): Reise Highlight - Eine ganz besondere Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen. Super nettes Personal. Sicher ein Highlight unserer Reise. Wir haben einen Ausflug gemacht zu den Hot Springs (15 heiße Quellen) und wurden dort mit Boot hingebracht und wieder abgeholt. Es passte einfach alles.
• Dor (9/5): Beautiful, Serene, Close to nature in a way hard to experience on those conditions - property is very well designed. Views are amazing - The cliffs and the river itself. Food was great and prices were very fair. The staff were very attentive with helping me to book activities. The inland premises are gorgeous for a stroll as well - You can rent a bike (included) and go ride to a fruit garden, forest roads, and Lawa Cave. Outdoor shower was very nice and comfy, and was super fitting for the room's vibe. Staff really were amazing and accommodating - Caring for every need, interested if booked activities were good, and helping me schedule the boat transfer logistics in & out of the resort Not didn't like as much as it's obvious - But given it's a floating villa on a river, insects were aplenty - Especially after it rained. That said, the bed has a bug net around it - But they still roam the room. As mentioned before - Boat traffic slowly tugs the room - Not the main space as much, but the toilet attached & balcony swerved a bit more. Nothign drastic but noticeable. Had a slight misunderstanding when a certain minibar item went missing during cleaning, so upon returning & finding out I explicitly let the staff know so I won't be charged and they assured me it's all fine - But then that very same item appeared on the final bill. Was a bit unpleasant, but ended up settling for the best.

• Virginie (9/5): - La floating house était très charmante et confortable. Le service est très bien et la cuisine est très bonne. Le petit déjeuner est complet. Le lieu est propre est accueillant. Les activités proposés sont bien organisées et qualitatives mais le prix est élevé. La floating a des fenêtres sous le toit pour lesquels il n’y a pas de rideaux, on est donc réveillé tôt si on est sensible à la lumière. Les bateaux qui passent dès 4 du matin sont bruyants. L’hôtel est loin de tout et nous sommes un peu dépendant des services de l’hôtel qui sont à des tarifs très élevés. Les prix du restaurant sont également élevés.

• Jeff (10/5): Relaxing and fun stay away from it all! - A very special stay on the River Kwai.. the rooms were lovely, bed comfortable, stunning scenery and had such fun jumping in the river! Being able to cycle to the sister hotel to use their pool was a bonus. Also had some of the best food we had for the whole of our stay The price of some of the trips were expensive, but we arranged through an alternative driver to visit Erawan falls so didn’t affect us.
• Kristel (9/5): Het begint al bij de pier! - Het vakantiegevoel begint al bij de pier. De boottocht naar het verblijf is prachtig en eenmaal aangekomen kom je terecht in een oase van rust. De kamers zijn ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, de vlonders hebben uitzicht op de mooie natuur. (Ook de nabijgelegen lawa cave is een aanrader!!). Perfect om een paar dagen tot rust te komen en volledig te onthaasten. De massages op locatie waren hiervoor perfect. De inbegrepen dinner-menus en het ontbijt waren zeer compleet en gevarieerd! Hoewel de omgeving prachtig is, worden de kamers wel vroeg licht. Uitslapen zit er niet in dus ;). (Is overigens geen straf).

• Manfred (9/5): traumhafte Lage im Fluß mitten im Dschungel - Wunderbare Lage am bzw. im Fluß. Ein tatsächlich schwimmendes Hotel mit großen Einheiten samt Terrasse zum Fluß. Beste Aussicht, auch vom Restaurant aus, das erstklassiges Essen serviert. Überraschenderweise gibt es in den romantisch ausgestatteten Zimmern sogar AC - hätte ich nicht erwartet. Das Hotel liegt naturgemäß abseits, ist mit dem Auto zwar erreichbar, wird aber zumeist mit longtail-boats vom zentralen Pier aus bedient. Daher ist eine gewisse Gelenkigkeit von Vorteil. Die Anlegestellen sind nämlich beiderseits so gar nicht für ältere Europäer ausgestattet. Das freundliche Personal schafft zwar jeden ins und aus dem Boot, aber manchmal wirkt's etwas peinlich.

• Ian (10/5): - Fantastic for a relaxing getaway. The rooms had everything we needed, clean, comfortable and loveley decorated in a traditional Thai style. Waking up to sit and see the early morning mist over the river was something I'll remember for a long time. On top of all this was the staff, the customer service was 5 stars, everyone friendly and attending every need with a smile making every customer feel special. Loved every moment there.

The staff were all fantastic, went above and beyond. The room was huge, the beds super comfy. The view is breathtaking. Room Air-Con on was great. Food and drink were excellent and reasonable priced for the middle of nowhere. The set menu each night changed and there was a veggie menu. The trips on offer, were well throughout, and we thought a little at first but were excellent value. There were alsp large mosi nets for the beds. That we should have stayed at least one night longer!

Beim Brot gab es zwei verschiedene Sorten an Toastbrot. Eier wurden in verschiedenen Variationen frisch vorbereitet. Nach zwei Tagen hat man sich sattgesehen. Beim Abendessen hätten wir uns mehr thailändische Vielfalt gewünscht.

That was very much appreciated. It was so comfortable and a fun experience. We walked over to the sister property and used the pool then took the boat back and saw monkeys along the way. • Klaudia (9/5): Die beste Auszeit am schönsten Platz mitten in der Natur - Die Lage mitten an der Natur am Fluss ist ein Traum. Eine sehr komfortable Auszeit von der Zivilisation. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer war vorbildlich, trotz der halboffenen Gestaltung der Zimmer - alles ohne Insekten oder andere „Plagegeister“, alles sehr ordentlich und schön dekoriert. Die Moskitonetze haben uns nachts auch bei offener Terrassentür ruhig schlafen lassen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Anlage ist wunderschön, sehr ästhetisch in die Umgebung eingebettet. Der Sound der Natur drum herum ist wirklich toll. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass es wenig „zu tun“ gibt vor Ort. Es gibt viele Aktivitäten direkt auf dem Wasser, ein paar Wanderungen in der sehr schönen Umgebung. Aber sonst ist es sehr abgelegen (für uns ideal - genau, was wir gesucht haben). Alles andere muss man (deutlich teurer als woanders) extra bezahlen. Wenn man das annimmt, ist es der beste Platz auf Erden! Nur das Schwanken, immer wenn die Boote vorbei fuhren, das schaukelte teils schon sehr stark. Andererseits wusste man das vorher, daher alles ok. Das Essen im Restaurant war etwas zu wenig gewürzt und nicht ganz so authentisch wie erhofft. Aber auch nicht schlecht, das kann man nicht sagen.

Manche Exkursionen (Khachanburi, River Kwai) sind erheblich überteuert, zumal man ohne Guide gut zurechtkäme, der zumindest bei uns wegen mangelhaften Englisch keinen wirklichen Benefit bedeutete und auch nicht so historisch sachkundig war wie man das erwarten hätte dürfen. Dagegen hat uns der von manchen Rezensenten monierte Bootsverkehr wenig gestört, man schaukelt halt mit.

C’était très chouette de se faire bercer par l’eau, surtout au passage des speedboats (limité pendant certains horaires de la journée => ne perturbe pas le sommeil), bruits de la jungle… Attention, l’arrivée depuis le piers se fait en barque à moteur rapide. • Loretta (8/5): Prachtige locatie & heerlijk verblijf - De locatie is echt uniek. De kamers liggen aan de rivier en via een longtail boot kun je naar het hotel. Prima geregeld ! Het hotel is heerlijk en wat een vriendelijk personeel. Het ontbijt en diner zijn zeer uitgebreid en met veel zorg bereid. De longtail boten varen op en aan om gasten van en naar het hotel te brengen. deze boten maken een ontzettende herrie. Je moet niet bedenken dat je in alle rust op je vlondertje zit. De aangeboden services , zoals excursies e/o taxi zijn onredelijk duur. Voor een derde kun je het zelf regelen aan de overkant bij de Pier waar de longtail boot je weer aan de wal zet. Je kiest voor het gemak maar wordt daarbij erg benadeeld .
