Cathie (8/5): I would recommend this motel to friends for a short stay. - We did not have breakfast with you. Location was excellent. Room was very clean. We were very hot in bed; I think the doona was too warm for the weather so we had to keep pulling it off and then we were cold and had to pull it up again...this happened several times during the night.
Jan (7/5): A pleasant place but a dissappointing room . - It was in a great position, close to the river, nice river walks and close to the shops and hotel (the only place serving evening meals, and very nice). The bed was on the small side but very comfortable and the electric blanket was appreciated. Over priced. A queen room with a double bed, a bathroom with no shelves or hooks to put clothes or toiletry bags on.

Jacqui (8/5): Bridgewater Motel - My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Bridgewater Motel...the 24 hr kiosk was great...I had no problems using it and our keys were provided accordingly. Our room was nothing over the top...yet...our room was really clean, our bed, although on the small size for a queen was one of the most comfiest beds we have ever slept in on our many trips away and staying out and about...we had everything we required and then some in our room. An extremely comfortable bed, that we both slept great in...2 tub chairs to relax to watch tv or have a coffee...tea/coffee facilities, a microwave, a toaster, stools with a bed to eat on, a great shower and of course there was a toilet...extra blankets if needed, they weren't as the heater warmed the room perfectly...and I forgot the WiFi password, but with a quick call to staff, I had a polite, informative chat and was provided with everything we needed...overall we had a great stay...Thanx.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're after a feed later in the evening...or you arrive at Bridgewater Motel a little later than expected...there is a pub within walking distance, that did look like it wasn't going to be open long as we drove through...but thankfully 6 minutes up the road in Inglewood, Inglewood Take Away came to the rescue...great gentleman that served us and we were the last customers for the evening...the place was packed and they were still doing pizza orders for the footy club as we found out...Great burgers, chips, gravy, even fish n chips, pizza and other goodies were available...but if that's anything I'd complain about the Motel is there is no food near by to get if you arrive after 7pm...or you have to travel or bring your own microwave dinner...which isn't bad if you've been on the Rd for awhile...there is some goodies to purchase in the room...2minute noodles, lollies and wine...🤷🏼‍♀️

Small additions in bathroom would upgrade room immensely. A couple of hooks on back of door in bathroom. A small stool in corner to put clothes/ toilet bag on instead of toilet seat. Shelf in kitchen to put stuff on, so bench in kitchen could be used better. Perhaps a hook near sink for hand towel. A broom or brush and shovel to sweep out dirt/ dead insects. Bbq was not clean

However Bridgewater itself is a very nice place. Previous occupant's soap, toothpaste and toothbrush were left in the bathroom making me wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of the room.

Noisy with trucks passing through as motel is situated on cross roads. Over priced for an old motel with old bathroom and shower cubicle with a curtain. Bathroom floor was painted tiles and started wearing and scratching
Ann (1/5): An unpleasant stay with a poor night's sleep. - Tea and coffee making facilities, very comfortable bed, good shower, efficient automated all-hours check-in. The cleaner in the morning was cheerful and friendly and allowed me a few extra minutes to vacate. The noise of the frequent semi-trailers on the Calder Highway was very loud making sleep quite difficult. The room felt like a prison cell in winter with a very spartan feel, exposed brick walls and a freezing cold concrete floor without even a mat beside the bed. Signage about the air-conditioner and the door that tended to self close and lock you out was written in an unfriendly manner.

Barbara (9/5): Neat and Comfortable for a quick lay over - Good location and the 24hr check in made life easy. The pub across the road had great meals and it was an ideal place to put our heads down for a stop over The door was dodgy and difficult to unlock and after locking it for the night and putting the chain on, when we woke in the morning it was open again. We had paid for a river view and was extremely disappointed the only view of the river was from a little bedroom on the side with a single bed in it which meant we couldn't use it, that should be disclosed when your paying for a view you don't really get.
