• Maggie (10/5): The perfect stay in Luxor - This is a great complex. We stayed in the two story duplex. It is very spacious, clean and has everything you need for a few days. This unit, and I think the whole apartment complex, is very quiet. There are so many little details that make a difference like bedside lights and plugins, free washing machine and soap, and a laundry basket, chairs and tables upstairs and down, Air conditiong works well and is on both levels, Bed is very comfortable. There is hot water with very good pressure. The host is excellent. He's easy to reach, check in was easy. The pool looks very clean, but we didn't have time to use it. Staying on West Bank is a much better option than East. It is more quiet, restaurants are plentiful and very good. We ate dinner three times at Sunset restaurant, where breakfast is also served. All meals were delicious. The ferry is a 10 min walk for 25 pounds, but there are also dozens of motorboats that can take you across. Barter to 100 for 2 people (we got it for 50 for two once).. The wifi is very poor, but so was our mobile
• Victoire (10/5): - Nous avons passé 3 jours dans cette merveilleuse résidence. L’appartement était grand, tres propre avec tous les équipements utiles (four, lave-linge, serviettes de piscine etc). Le personnel s’est montré particulièrement bienveillant, et a pu nous dépanner de médicaments en pleine nuit. Il y’a des boissons en libre-accès à l’accueil pour un prix très raisonnable, la piscine est des plus agréables, et l’endroit est calme. De plus, le logement est très bien situé sur la rive Ouest, à proximité de la vallée des rois.

Le petit déjeuner se prend dans le café en face, c’est très bon. Rien, tout était parfait !

• liliane (10/5): Geweldig verblijf!!!!!! - Alles prima, weinig min te zeggen. Ligging is zalig rustig op de Westbank Luxor. De oostbank is heel druk en je maakt de oversteek in 10 min om je dag te starten om de tempels te ontdekken. Super mooie appartementen. Eigenaar en personeel super gedienstig. Lekker ontbijt. Zeker een aanrader om te verblijven. Niks op aan te merken.

The host, Jacob, was very friendly and also kindly arranged transports for me to explore the temples around Luxor. Wifi unfortunately is not good and it felt quiet uncomfortable.

• Pauline (10/5): Logement exceptionnel sur Louxor Ouest - Excellent logement sur Louxor Ouest . Proche de toutes les commodités (ferry public , location de vélo a 10 mn à pied, shop a 2 mn, nombreux bon resto a même pas 5mn a pied ...). Possibilité de faire les différentes vallées a vélo (5-10km) Studio très bien équipé avec une superbe terrasse, machine a laver gratuite dans la villa. Espace commun accessible à côté de la piscine. La villa est très chaleureuse , on sy sent comme a la maison ! La piscine est clairement un must 😻 Le propriétaire Yacoub est vmt top et fais tout pour que l'on se sente comme a la maison. Très dispo , chaleureux , trouve tjs une solution et super sympa. Possibilité de réserver des excursions /transports également si besoin. Clairement un des meilleurs logements que j'ai eu l'occasion d'avoir lors de mes voyages !

It is on the West bank which means less people trying to sell you stuff, very quiet and way cheaper then the east bank. I would highly recommend this apartment. We even took advantage of the pool

• Stephanie (10/5): Bester Kurztrip - wir kommen wieder 🤍 - Vorneweg, als begeisterte Taucher kommen wir jedes Jahr mehrmals nach Ägypten. Wir haben jedoch sehr schnell festgestellt das wir keine klassischen Hotelurlaube dort verbringen möchten und suchen daher gezielt nach Unterkünften wie hier in Luxor. Gleich nach der Buchung bekam ich eine Nachricht von Jacob und seinem Team. Ich habe direkt von Deutschland aus einen Transfer über ihn gebucht, der uns von Hurghada nach Luxor gebracht hat. Der Transfer musste nicht in Vorkasse, sondern konnte bequem Vorort bezahlt werden. Der Transfer klappte reibungslos. Unser Fahrer war höflich und zuvorkommend. Er hatte kalte Getränke sowie Snacks dabei. In der Unterkunft angekommen haben wir ein kostenloses Upgrade für unser Appartement bekommen. Das Appartement ist sauber ( das sauberste Apartment was wir jemals hatten!!), es gab frisch gewaschene Handtücher sowie Pooltücher. Die kleine Küchenzeile ist mit allem ausgestattet wenn man sich selbst versorgen möchte. Die Villa liegt zentral gelegen jedoch in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Zu Fuß ist man in weniger als 5 Minuten an der Nilpromenade. Ausflüge kann man direkt vor Ort buchen. Die Preise sind sehr sehr fair. Das Frühstück war bei uns inbegriffen. Hier kann man wählen ob man ins Restaurant gegenüber der Villa geht oder die überdachte Terrasse in der Villa nutzen möchte. Dieses Restaurant bietet zudem auch ein sehr gutes und günstiges Abendessen an. Das Essen ist lecker und wird jeden Tag frisch zubereitet. Für Getränke steht ein Kühlschrank auf der überdachten Terrasse zur Verfügung. Hier kann man sich selbst bedienen. Bezahlt wird bei Abreise. Unser besonderer Dank gilt Jacob und seinem gesamten Team (hier gehören auch die Fahrer und der Inhaber des Restaurants dazu). Egal welchen Wunsch man hat ( Zigaretten, ein bestimmter Artikel aus dem Supermarkt, eine Fahrt mit dem Tuk Tuk, oder oder oder…) sie versuchen alles möglich zu machen! Es gibt’s nichts zu meckern

• Laetitia (10/5): Excellent séjour - Tout était excellent du début à la fin. L’accueil a été chaleureux et professionnel. Jacob a toujours été disponible, à l’écoute et a organisé toutes nos visites en respectant nos souhaits. Zaki, notre guide francophone, a été à la fois très compétent et plein d’humour, rendant chaque excursion encore plus agréable. Mohamed, le chauffeur de taxi, s’est montré très accueillant et sympathique, tout comme Hassan, le capitaine de la felouque. L’appartement était propre, confortable et bien équipé, ce qui a grandement contribué à la qualité de notre séjour. L’emplacement est idéal, très proche du Nil, parfait pour se promener et rejoindre facilement l’embarcadère vers la rive Est. Le petit-déjeuner est servi soit au restaurant Sunset, où l’on mange très bien, soit directement dans l’enceinte de l’hôtel, ce qui est très pratique. En résumé, une expérience parfaite que je recommande sans hésitation. J’y retournerai avec grand plaisir.

• MARGHERITA (5/5): Super gentili ma pulizia pessima - Il proprietario Jacub è molto gentile e disponibile. La posizione è ottima, in un minuto si arriva al Nilo e da li con pochi euro si prende la barca per arrivare sull'altra sponda. Mi dispiace molto perchè il personale è veramente gentile ma devo per forza scrivere che la pulizia della camera era pessima: capelli e peli da tutte le parti, lenzuola macchiate. La nostra camera era brutta: arredamento datato e mal messo.
• Mina (9/5): Idéal pour être au calme tout en étant proche du côté est - La gentillesse de Jacob et son collègue ainsi que le personnel de l’établissement qui ont tout fait pour que notre séjour se déroule dans les conditions les plus favorables (nous avons séjourner avec un enfant de deux ans et un de 3 mois). Chambre spacieuse avec tout les équipements d’un petit appartement, cuisine équipée pour manger sur place le soir. L’hôtel est situé à 5 min des bateaux à moteurs (traversée rapide pour la rive est) et 10 min du ferry. Rien, tout est parfait. La piscine n’est pas chauffée et n’est ensoleillée que le matin, cela ne nous a pas empêché de nous baigner après notre excursion à la vallée des rois.

• Séverine (10/5): Le séjour passé à Villa golden Life a été idyllique, bien au-delà de nos espérances - Nous avons adoré la propreté de l'établissement, l'accueil de Jacob qui est un hôte exceptionnel, adorable, serviable, le fait que le logement soit à proximité de tout, l'appartement qui est bien équipé, le calme de la résidence, le petit déjeuner servi par Hassan dans le petit restaurant "Le sunset" juste en face (qui est par ailleurs un super resto, avec une cuisine fraichement préparée), les échanges avec Jacob et sa famille...tout était parfait. Nous n'avons qu'une seule envie...y retourner très rapidement. rien, tout était parfait ...je pense que c'est la première fois que rien ne me dérange dans une location de vacances...je recommande cet établissement à 100%.

• BRUN (9/5): - Nous avons passé plusieurs jours dans la maison d’hôtes de Jacob qui est très bien située. Tout était très bien. Jacob a tout mis en œuvre pour que nous passions un agréable séjour : transferts, felouque sur le Nil.
• Patrice P (10/5): Excellente adresse côté ouest de Louxor - Yacoub, le propriétaire,  mérite 10/10 à lui tout seul. C'est une belle personne qui se plie en quatre pour satisfaire ses clients. Cet homme est d'une très grande gentillesse et d'un professionnalisme irréprochable. Le logement quant à lui était très confortable et propre. Excellent rapport qualité/prix de l'ensemble avec la piscine et le petit déjeuner inclus. Le restaurant d'en face où l'on prend le petit déjeuner est très bien et Hassan, en plus d'être sympathique, est un excellent cuisinier. Vous pouvez y manger les yeux fermés. L'endroit est un peu en retrait,  au calme, le quartier est sûr. Enfin, la résidence propose de vous accompagner dans l'organisation de différentes excursions.  Yacoub s'est occupé de reserver mon tour en montgolfière. A faire absolument !  J'ai un peu le vertige mais tant Yacoub que l'équipe sur place m'ont beaucoup rassuré. Très pros et très humains,  merci à  eux. La connexion wifi est instable.

• Lou-ann (10/5): - Un séjour absolument incroyable sur la rive ouest de Louxor, dans un hôtel magnifique, calme et parfaitement situé près du Nil. Un immense merci à Jacob, qui a été aux petits soins du début à la fin : attentionné, chaleureux et toujours disponible, il a vraiment rendu notre séjour encore plus spécial. Les journées organisées par l’hôtel étaient d’une qualité exceptionnelle : bien pensées, fluides, riches en découvertes et parfaitement encadrées. L’hôtel en lui-même est superbe, très bien entretenu, avec une atmosphère paisible et un service irréprochable. Une adresse que je recommande les yeux fermés !

Sahiplerinin özel botunu kullandık 150 egp verdik hiç halka karışmadık. Çok kibar ve sevecenler. Klimada sıcak yoktu. Soba getirdiler gerçekten yetti. Sağ olsun hallettiler. Çarşaf olayından dolayı kurabiyede hediye ettiler O kadar kirliydi ki.. 2 günlük rezervasyonun 2. Günü kamamayı düşündük. Artık battık diyip yattık ki yastık kılıfı getirmiştik o sayede yattık. Aslında çok güzel bir yer ama yerler saç dolu yatak çarşafı yıkanmamış gibi kıl dolu. Kahvaltı vardı 2 günde yemedik yani uykumuz bile yarım yamalak oldu psikolojik olarak kendimizi bırakamadık ki uyuyalım. Temizlemeleyi başarırlarsa herkes burada kalır ama ben tavsiye etmem arkadaşlar.

У гостиницы огороженная территория с бассейном и зоной отдыха + терраса на крыше. Номера просторные, чистые, не было проблем с горячей водой. Есть стиралка на верхнем этаже. Все понравилось.

Notre hôte a été très accueillant et disponible tout au long de notre séjour chez lui. A notre arrivée nous avons eu la surprise d’avoir été surclassé. • Mirthe (10/5): Geweldig! - Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! De locatie is schoon, nieuw en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is zelfs een wasmachine die je kunt gebruiken. Het zwembad en het dakterras maken het helemaal af! Het is een kleinschalige locatie waardoor we genoeg rust en privacy hadden. De staff is erg vriendelijk en helpvol en doen er alles aan om je op je gemak te stellen. Het voelde erg warm en familiair. In het speciaal de eigenaar Jacob is een ontzettend lieve man. Hij heeft ons meermaals geholpen om tours en vervoer te regelen. Telkens enorm goed verzorgd en tegen redelijke prijzen. Wij voelden ons enorm welkom en hebben uiteindelijk een extra nacht bijgeboekt! We vonden het oprecht jammer om weer door te gaan. De locatie is erg gunstig gelegen in een rustige wijk. Op loopafstand zijn er meerdere restaurantjes en supermarktjes. Ook zijn alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden op korte afstand omdat de locatie op de westoever ligt. De oostoever is ook makkelijk te bereiken per boot: je zit direct aan de overkant van de Luxortempel. Kortom, een absolute aanrader als je in Luxor bent! Als wij ooit opnieuw naar Luxor gaan zouden we hier 100% opnieuw verblijven! Niets

• Tanja (10/5): Perfekt - Unsere Erwartungen wurden weit übertroffen. Wir waren bereits in verschiedenen Unterkünften in aswan, marsa alam, hurghada und auch kairo und wir haben noch nie eine so gepflegte Unterkunft vorgefunden. Die Mitarbeiter waren stets zuvorkommend, respektvoll und freundlich. Genau gegenüber hat Hassan sein Restaurant sunset- welches wir auch zu 100% weiter empfehlen können. Alle sprechen hier sehr gutes Englisch und teils auch ein wenig Deutsch und daher war die Kommunikation nie ein Problem. Auch noch zu positiv zu erwähnen ist, dass der Pool stets sauber ist und täglich gereinigt wird. Wie können die Unterkunft zu 100% weiter empfehlen und werden sehr gerne wiederkommen. • Naomi Cirelli (10/5): Splendido soggiorno a Luxor - Appartamento nuovo, luminoso, spazioso e dotato di tutte le comodità che necessita una vacanza di qualche giorno a Luxor. L'host é stato estremamente gentile e ci ha sistemato spontaneamente in un appartamento molto piú grande di quello prenotato jn quanto era libero. É presente anche una graziosa piscina. La colazione inclusa é servita nel ristorante di fronte, con opzione continentale ed egiziana, entrambe davvero ottime. Nei dintorni è pieno di ristorantini molto buoni e tipici. L'appartamento si trova a due minuti dal lungo Nilo e a cinque minuti a piedi dal molo per attraversare il fiume. Se dovessi tornare a luxor prenoterei sicuramente a Villa Golden Life! Tutto perfetto.

He was flexible, understanding and help us with our activities. He charges a little pricey for activities but that didn’t affected our stay. Being able to do the laundry was a gem ! Nothing really !

Choukrane - If you stay here, please feed the black cat at the crossroad near the hotel — a small, cute, fully black skinny cat that we quickly fell in love with! Thank you ! We really enjoyed our time here. The property is new, modern, with very clean and comfortable apartments. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, and the location on the West Bank is quiet but still close to the Nile, restaurants, shops, and the public ferry to the East Bank, which costs 25 LE per ride (tourist price). Jacob is a very friendly and kind host. He allowed us to check in early and also check out late, which was incredibly helpful. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable, and although the pool area looked great, we unfortunately didn’t have a chance to use it. Just remember that costs there is a public ferry 25 LE per person and per ride (tourist price). A lot of scammer boatmen may try to charge extortionate prices for the same ride on private smaller boats. Do not allow them to charge you more than what you'd pay for the public ferry. Remember, what you pay sets the standard for others and gives these people the entitlement to treat tourists like mere cash cows. Les appartements sont très beaux et ils ont été aménagés par des artisans qui ont fait un super travail notamment la plomberie, l'électricité sont impeccables et toutes les finitions, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas + la décoration est très jolie comme le choix des couleurs (murs, meubles, couvres lit, serviettes, carreaux de douches...), avec des portes et des fenêtres très belles. La terrasse sur le toit est très agréable, la piscine est suffisamment grande, et on se sent comme chez soi dans cette guesthouse haut de gamme. J'ai beaucoup apprécié la machine à laver le linge ! Et le super restaurant en face où on prend de bons petit-déjeuners compris dans le prix et où on peut dîner avec un choix intéressant de plats. Le propriétaire Jacob travaille en partenariat avec une agence qui peut vous organiser toutes vos visites avec un choix à la carte. N'oubliez pas de faire un tour en bateau sur le Nil dont la jolie promenade se trouve à seulement 2 minutes. Franchement rien.

• Deborah (9/5): Quiet, Spacious, Apartment on the West Bank - The apartment was quiet, spacious and comfortable and the kitchenette convenient. Spacious bathroom with a good shower. There is a restaurant across the street that has good food, but can have very slow service. The good news is that you can order your food and they'll deliver your meal to your apartment if you don't want to wait in the restaurant. Yaquob, the owner, was easy to reach and responsive. One of the few options I could find with king or queen beds. There are 2 washing machines on the property and drying racks on the roof. The main room is cooled only with a fan which was adequate during our November stay. There was AC in the bedroom. If you want to cook, the kitchenette is short on cooking equipment. There were a few pots and pans, dishes for eating and utensils but not much in the way of cooking utensils and no kitchen towels or paper towels. The apartment could have been cleaner, stains on the wall and dust bunnies in the corners. I didn't like the West Bank much. Restaurants were just OK and the streets not pleasant for walking. It is more convenient for the West Bank sights, but then you have East Bank sights as well. I don't know if the East Bank would be better. It does have both more tourist options and traffic.

Everybody was very friendly and professional. Very private and secure villa, very quiet. The apartment was absolutely stunning and exceeded our expectations. The swimming pool was clean!You will not find a better place in Luxor to stay! Also, Mahmud is the best driver to bring you anywhere you want, and he also gives you a lot of useful information about Luxor and Egypt in general, very friendly, and a great sense of humour. The man who cooked in the family restaurant next door is really good, the food is very tasty and the price is very good , too- we only ate at his place all the time, so we recommend him as well ! The room was comfortable and spacious, with a modern shower offering excellent hot water and pressure. Laundry facilities included two washing machines and drying rack. The restaurant across the street served a nice Egyptian breakfast as part of the stay. Chilled water and beer - and other drinks - were available. A drawback as a solo traveler is that I felt isolated on the West Bank.
• Jens (9/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft, die ich weiter empfehlen kann - Zumindest in unserem Fall eine der bequemsten und größten Unterkünfte, in denen wir waren. Ein schönes Apartment, mit einem sehr bequemen Bett in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Zudem der Pool, um nach Ausflügen etwas zu entspannen und sich abzukühlen. Das kontinentale Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker, und Jacob und Hassan waren sehr zuvorkommend. Das Apartment an sich ist sehr sauber, aber die Teppiche sollten ebenfalls mit gereinigt werden. Zudem sollte beachtet werden, dass der Pool größtenteils im Schatten ist, und man muss auf Fliegen und Stechmücken achten.

• García Roca (10/5): - Personal muy amable y siempre pendientes. Desayuno muy bueno, alternando estilo continental y egipcio día a día, pero si prefieres uno de los otros se adaptan. El apartamento cuenta además con cocina y pequeño salón. Cama cómoda. Ofrecen la posibilidad de usar la lavadora de forma gratuita y tienes un tendal propio. Si tuviera que alojarme en el West Bank elegiría este alojamiento sin duda. Hay algunos mosquitos, aunque creo que es algo frecuente en esta zona de la ciudad.

La piscine est très appréciable avec la chaleur sur Louxor. Le personnel est vraiment attentionné et sympathique. Il y a une nouvelle administration depuis peu et ils font un excellent travail. Ils peuvent vous aider à organiser vos excursions, transports, etc. Ils ont des breuvages à très bas prix et font affaire avec le restaurant sunset qui est juste en face. Nice Egyptian coffee if you ask. Drinks available at pool for same price as sold at local market. Convenient. On site restaurant...also Convenient. The pool is a good size and was able to do laps in it. :) Having an apartment with a balcony is nice if you want to have your own space. They even have a washer and detergent for you. Ici vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, c'est propre, fonctionnel, calme et bien situé. Beaucoup de bons restaurants se trouvent à proximité. Mention spéciale pour le restaurant Sunset (en face) où l'on prend le petit déjeuner, mangez-y c'est excellent et ils sont très gentils. Notre meilleur moment en Égypte c'est à Louxor. La seule remarque que nous pouvons faire c'est le matelas qui est dur.

Lieu calme à taille humaine juste 5 locations Ce n 'est pas comme un hôtel, plutôt une location d'appartements autonomes ( pas de ménage, pas de changement de serviettes) mais ça nous a convenu. La piscine était très appréciée après une longue journée de visite. Bon emplacement sur la rive Ouest du Nil où il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter et également à 5-10 min du ferry public pour aller sur la rive Est du Nil. Petit restaurant en face délicieux et personnel très sympathique.

Mohammed, the manager, is a super nice, kind, and honest guy. He helped us throughout our stay and even after we left the hotel. We had forgotten a Wi-Fi box in the Uber, and he arranged to get it back and send it to us. Honestly, we can’t say enough good things. The apartment is great and strongly recommend the one bedroom apartment for the extra space. The swimming pool is clean and the drinks are reasonably priced. This is one of the best places we stayed at in Egypt. The wifi was good and the breakfast over the road was amazing. The added surprise of access to a washing machine was a bonus!

• Tadas (10/5): Exceeded my expectations. - The place was perfect. Everything I needed was there, everything in the house is new, the bed was very good, the swimming pool was very nice, rooftop terrace, a restaurant right out the gate and the food was good yet cheap. Aircon was very cold. Hosts always ready to help. Some noise from the surrounding building sites late into the night as it was extremely hot when I was there and builders worked late. Lots of houses in Egypt are never finished so building work goes on everywhere, no avoiding it. Maybe with the exception of the central Luxor.
