Guest Reviews
- Cheryl (8/5): Comfortable - Clean. Good location
- Nashstar (10/5): Unforgettable vacation in Toronto! - I loved every moment of living here! The house is situated in the downtown of Toronto within the walking distance to everything I needed (shops, attractions, lake, etc): only once I used the bus from Cherry Beach and a metro/train/bus to/from the airport. The staff is very helpful (you can wrtie a message to them and they respond very quickly). The premises itself are really very comfortable. And it's great value for money. I could not imagine the better place for a stay in Toronto!
- Dennis (10/5): The owner was very friendly and helpful! The room was perfect and exactly as advertised! - The location was perfect for my goals!
- Sarah-marie (5/5): Passable - There is no AC in the room which made it almost unbearable to sleep there, especially since Toronto was experiencing a heatwave. Also, from the booking side we were not aware that the owner of the house would also be staying there.
- Anonymous (10/5): Spacious and clean room. Friendly hosts. - The property was lovely and just what we needed! The hosts were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. We would definitely recommend this property to friends. The room we stayed in was very spacious and catered for all our bags (8 suitcases).
- Gert (7/5): Good - Good room within a townhouse. Nice and clean, safe, good bathroom and shower. You can even wash your clothes there. The location was good in the sense that you're close to everything. However, i did not feel safe walking through the street there. The park has a lot of homeless people and they can sometimes make a lot of noise as well. Police were often called there during my stay.
- Stephen (9/5): Great stay! - The house was great, clean, and well supplied. John the host was fantastic. The floor boards above were squeaky, and i was sometimes woken up when the guest above moved around the room in the night.
- Lydia (7/5): Good -
- Annie (7/5): Quality downtown pad - Quality and cleanliness Next to a noisy park with homeless people
- Estela (5/5): Custo benefício - I rented a room with a private bathroom. The room is spacious and has a terrace, but I missed having a heavier blanket for the colder nights. The bedside lamp didn’t work, and there were very few kitchen utensils in the room, so I had to go down to the shared kitchen to get them. The sponge in the room’s sink was old and should have been replaced a long time ago, and the terrace was dirty, with leaves and plastic bags.
The hotel is not recommended for people with mobility issues due to the narrow and steep stairs, which are especially difficult when carrying luggage. The noise from the square in front is quite bothersome, the curtains could be blackout, and the bathroom sink is almost unusable because the cabinet above it is too low, making it hard to use.
On the other hand, the location is good and access to the subway is very easy.
- Vnaskos (9/5): Literally cozy, great location, amazing sleep - Check-in was a breeze, even arriving late at night. The downtown location was perfect for my trip, and having an underground station just steps away was a huge plus! I also loved the massive, comfy bed and the cozy feel of the entire place. I had everything I needed. Some reviews mentioned a nearby park where homeless individuals gather at night, which made me a little unsure as a first-time visitor to Canada. However, after experiencing it myself, I can honestly say I never felt unsafe at any point during my stay.
- Rishabh (8/5): Good value for money. Lovely downtown charm. - Location is great Understandable that there is no elevator. Difficult to carry luggage upto the 3rd floor as the stairs are narrow.
- John (7/5): Good - Lots of steps to the top room which aren’t really identified in property description
- Sortilego (9/5): Superb - Easy to reach by metro, the house is very well equipped with everything, it was big and clean. We didn't have any problems at all. The surrounding area is very distinctive and unique. The nearby park can be a bit shady and loud.
- Hui-jen (10/5): Nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable and convenient. - Good location. About 7 mins walk to subway.
- Amar (10/5): Neat, Clean & comfortable guest house near the market and public transport. Subway ten minute walk. - Excellent location near market and public transport available. Subway is about ten minutes walk. In-charge of property Mr. John is super helpful. It will be great If they provide TV in the rooms,
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jiajue (10/5): Exceptional - The guesthouse was very clean, and the room on the third floor was spacious, with its own kitchen and a small balcony. The location was incredibly convenient, as it was very close to Wellesley station. The host was very responsive and offered a lot of helpful assistance. For this location, the price was very affordable!
- Safurat (5/5): Fair - The location They don’t change my beddings and towels in time, it was changed the 3rd night. They are not responsive.
- Hicks (9/5): Great location for very reasonable rate. Is - Location was great for being in the centre of Toronto. The place was very quiet and clean. Very nice place.
- Sarine (9/5): Good value stay near downtown Toronto - - Convenient location near the subway station (Wellesley)
- Spacious studio with kitchen, balcony, dining room and exterior bathroom
- Interior decor is lovely
- Well equipped with cooking tools if needed
- Comfy king-size bed - It's located next to a park (on Church Street) where some homeless tend to gather around, so it may not feel safe at night. But I did not go out during the night so it was fine.
- Omer (10/5): A wonderful house for a long stay in Toronto - A wonderful house right near church street, 5 minutes walk from a subway station.
The room was very clean and well lit. It had an equipped kitchen and the largest bed i have ever seen. My stay here was amazing. The bathroom is right outside the room, is a separate door. It's not much of an issue but it's less private the a hotel room.
