Insonorisation. Communication du personnel non anglophone, manque de patience et agacement pour certains d’e très eux. Accueil désagréable à 2h du matin après de longues heures de voyages. Certes plusieurs choix de métros aux alentours mais compter 5 minutes pour y accéder. Qualité du wifi très moyenne. Pression de l’eau également très faible. Pas de serviette ni de produits nettoyants dans la salle de fitness.

- Sabina (7/5): - Комната небольшая, но неплохая. У нас она выходила на задний дворик, пели птички красиво. Улица, на которой находится отель, довольно спокойная и вечером там красиво. Завтрака практически нет и он одинаковый каждый день, поэтому за завтраком вы даже никого не увидите. Из душа вода выливалась в туалет, они совмещены.

- Anastasia (10/5): Out stay was very comfortable at Mia Hotel. - New facilities and very helpful staff. Our stay was at one of the hotel’s family rooms over two floors. Very comfortable room premises, both the layout and the bed, also the bathrobes were super comfy. The hotel’s gym is also good, with all the basic equipment for a good work out.

- AHAD (10/5): - The hotel was very clean and elegant. The stay was comfortable, the staff were kind, and the room cleaning service was provided daily. I don’t think this will be my last stay here - I truly enjoyed it.
- Markus (8/5): Modernes Hotel nahe der Jiaotong Universität - Es ist ein sehr schönes und modernes Hotel. Betten sehr bequem und die Lage zur Jiaotong Universität sehr gut! Housekeeping war sehr freundlich und haben sauber geputzt! Das Zimmer hat wenig Ablagefläche. Personal war an der Rezeption überfordert. Wir hatten Unterkunft mit Frühstück gebucht und es wurde behauptet, es wäre nur 1 Frühstück für 1 Person. Wir waren zu 3. und für 3 Tage. Nach langem hin und her wurden uns dann doch Gutscheine für alle Tage/Personen gegeben. Wir haben es dann doch nur einen Tag genutzt, da die Auswahl und Qualität sehr zu Wünschen übrig ließ! Also besser kein Frühstück buchen.

- Thomas (10/5): Excellent facilities, excellent staff, excellent location. - The hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable and good value for money. It is a 5-10 min walk from two train stations (Xuhjia and Hongquia Rd) which is excellent as it provides access to 5 different metro lines. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel which was very handy for the ol 92 and a Family Mart, restaurants 100m away. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Ivan at the front desk was a great, helping me sort out a bunch of paper work. They also did a fantastic job tidying up the room every day which I want expecting, and did it very unintrusively as I was in and out at a pretty irregular schedule. I would stay here again for sure. - Nicola (9/5): Hotel moderno - Hotel nuovo, in un bel quartiere (consigliatissimo!). Stanza moderna, di design, molto pulita, letto comodo. Offrono te e caffè a volontà in reception. Staff cordiale e che cerca di rendersi utile (in particolare il concierge). Accessori di buon livello: speaker bluetooth, TV grande, phon di ultima generazione, smart wc (!). Vicino ad innumerevoli ristoranti e locali. Stanze un po' piccole, il lavandino è in stanza (in compenso la doccia è enorme e molto comoda). Non c'è un armadio.

- Nicolai (8/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. - Die Lage zur SJTU war für uns ausschlaggebend und fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel eingerichtet und sauber. Die Lage zur französischen Konzession ist sehr gut und auch sehr gut zu erreichen. Es gab als wir dort waren kein Frühstücksangebot und die Dachterrasse war noch nicht fertig gestellt.

- Dr. (10/5): Exceptional - we stayed there at the beginning of our trip and at the end of our trip through china. the hotel actually surprised me! our room was big enough, very clean, very quiet and the bed was one of the most comfortable on our travels. the staff was the best! they did everything we asked for and helped us however they could when we had questions and needed something :) i deliberately chose the hotel in this area because it's close to jiaotong university where i lived before. it's not too too close to the metro stations (hongqiao lu, yishan lu, xujiahui or jiaotong university) by foot but still doable. you can also rent a "hello" bike outside to go there. there is also a bus station in front of the hotel. there are plenty of cheap restaurants and small supermarkets in panyu lu which is very convenient.

When id booked the listing said it was available on property for a fee but when i went down looking for breakfast they didn’t have it. This last weekend when i was booking a hotel again the listing said it was included, but due to that experience and needing breakfast to be available due to an early appointment at the entry/exit bureau, i booked somewhere else instead.

- Ailin (10/5): Loved it so much, we came back twice! - Absolutely adore this hotel—so much that we returned during the same trip! It’s now our go-to whenever we're back in Shanghai. Perfect location in the heart of Xujiahui, just roughly 8mins walking distance from metro lines 10 and 11. The service is exceptional, the beds are super comfy, and it’s surrounded by great snack spots and convenience stores. 10/10. The only minor challenge was getting on a taxi during peak traffic, as it's near two major roads. You might need to cross the street depending on traffic direction, but it’s totally manageable.

- Mr. (10/5): A smooth and comfortable work stay, just missing a few small conveniences. - The location was great — close to Jiaotong University and convenient for getting around. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. Wi-Fi worked reliably, though keep in mind it’s subject to local internet restrictions (e.g., WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Google Maps are not accessible without a VPN). Breakfast was delivered from an external provider — a bit unusual, but surprisingly tasty. There was no open bar or café inside the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient. It would have been nice to have a space to relax or grab a coffee on-site.

- Piero (10/5): relax in shanghai - Despite being located over a busy road, the room was silent and very comfortable. The personnel proved friendly and very helpful, communication in english was easy. We especially appreciated the hint for an excellent dumpling vendor very close down the road.

A bus to city stops at the front of hotel. Comfortable bed. The bathroom is modern and spacious. The toilet has heated seat. Bathroom does not have hooks or hangers for clothes. It does not have shelves either for storing personal care things. The room was not spacious. No safety deposit box in the room. No wardrobe for hanging clothes, no drawers for storing the clothes either. Clothes had to be kept in the suitcases or hanged openly in the room which could be seen by anyone entering the room. The lights in the hotel corridors are not bright.
- Teresa (9/5): Comfortable and clean. - Mia Hotel is incredibly good value for money. The aesthetic is cool and modern, the room was perfectly clean, the bed was nice and comfy, and the deluxe suite is perfect for someone who is doing a working holiday. The desk is spacious and the sofa and chair are comfortable yet solid, like you could chill on them for hours. I was especially surprised and impressed by the fact that the room had a Dyson hairdryer! The housekeeper who took care of my room was warm and attentive. The deluxe suite has two balconies. It was great to be able to step outside and taken in some spring air. The location is pretty great but it is a couple blocks away from the more happening Fahuazhen and Panyu Lu area. The street is a bit exposed to sunlight unlike neighborhood blocks to the north. But this is a minor complaint given how fantastic the hotel itself is.

- Ignatius (8/5): Best choice for long transit between Pudong and Hongqiao - The Hotel and staffs are very nice and accommodating, though they have minimum english skills, but the using apps to help communicate. Li, one of the attendant help me in booking the business taxi for the next day , taxi is big enough and super comfy to accommodate 4 people with 6 large suitcases (imagine that 😁). there are many restaurants and groceries nearby the hotel, there is a walkable shopping centre too No parking infront of the Hotel, some taxi driver may get confused; Glass toilet and shower (No privacy), should have at least a curtain if privacy required, bedroom located at second floor (not good if you have knee issues or frequent go to bathroom at night)
