• George (4/5): Won’t go back again - No tv reception pool was closed till further notice went there with grandkids and they couldn’t watch tv or swim so played with devices great stimulation for a break vacuum cleaner was filthy clicked up with gunk toilet paper was like using paper towel in public toilet cheap

Undercover secure allocated parking. Bathroom/shower not clean, wifi didn’t work, difficulty getting access to garage using key box near road. No air con!!!
• Paul (5/5): - spacious unit. pool was great. easy access to beach unit had no aircon, lighting was old, some fans were new some old, old fans rattled and wobbled making them annoying. we had power outages 3 out of our 5 nights which made it extremely hot in the rooms to sleep

No booklet or instructions on using TV & logging into system. No brochures on locations for close by shopping, cafes & takeaway in the area.

• BELINDA (7/5): Relaxing and comfortable. Suited my needs - Location awesome. Top of James St. Close to shops, cafes, restaurants, beach Lighting in bathroom needed to be better over mirror and a globe blew. Rangehood over stove broken. No WiFi available. Toilets at pool area locked

Roadworks every night from ~8pm right througj to 7am every night. Ontinuous roadworks was not disclosed at time of booking. Extremely noisy at all times also during the day. It is the reason I am marking it down.
• steve (7/5): Had a great stay despite lack of wi-fi. Apartment was very nice and perfectly located. - Location was great. Apartment was very spacious and well equiped and clean. No functioning wi-fi as advertised. No attempt by admin staff to provide alternative, despite them giving pre-paid dongle to another customer at same venue. Also underground carparking was very tight, only suitable for small car.

It needs to be cared for and it would be worth price - Walls are not clean, lounge suite is old and sunken seats, no cover on doona, security flyscreen did not lock, difficult to open bedroom window, range hood light doesn’t work. Wifi is not connected so I called the real estate agent, they delivered a portable wifi.

• Michelle (2/5): Not great, would not recommend - Great location, nice pool, comfortable bed. We expected basic due to the lower cost of hiring this unit. It did not have Wi-Fi or any air-conditioning. Many parts of the unit were rundown and damaged. It appears that no maintenance has been done on this property for quite some time. While the balcony had a fairly nice aspect, it needs pressure cleaning and had small weeds growing up amongst the balustrading and chewing gum stuck to the outside of the glass The main bathroom flooded each time the shower is used to the point that it was not usable. There was also a wall tile completely missing in the main bathroom shower. Both showers had mould showing in the grout between tiles The carpets and furniture need professional cleaning and were unhygienic. The dining chairs were old and the material peeling and flaking to the point that it was dropping all over the floor and sticking to our clothes when we stood up from the table. The mop supplied and the shower caddy in the ensuite need to be thrown in the rubbish as they are broken and unhygienic. There appeared to be old water damage on all the windowsills with rust coming through and cracking paint. The ceiling in the master bedroom appears to be repaired however was painted in a wall paint instead of white ceiling paint and the effect was obvious. The appliances supplied all in good working order except the knobs kept falling off the oven dials. All light fittings had several years worth of bugs inside them and hasn’t cleaned in a very long time It wouldn’t take much to resolve these issues and improve the overall feeling and appearance of this property.

• Tomsen (10/5): Too short - Loved the location and the easy checkin we didn’t get told about the $200 bond hold until the day before. We called the front desk to ask about the WIFI 3 times but never got a call back so ended up using a lot of money on international data. Our WIFI wasn’t working

• Singledadtraveller (7/5): Best value for money I have yet seen in Burleigh Heads. - I liked the price, because I could stay at Burleigh Heads for a week for under two thousand dollars. I loved the location, because it was just across the road from the Burleigh CBD. Could always get in touch with a staff member even outside of normal office hours. The room was musty when we arrived. The carspace provided was difficult for the SUV I was driving to get into, but this is a common fault with the underground parking lots in holiday units. The WiFi in our room had no internet connection, but we just relied on our mobile hotspots for the week.

Needed fans on constantly which made it hard to sleep as rowdy Cochroaches were in the bathroom. Used tissues left in draw on coffee table. Sent photo to Burleigh letting regarding tissues to date no reply. Couch is passed its best with deep holes develop when you sit

• Buckley (5/5): We would come again if everything worked properly. - The instructions to the key locker worked well. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Great location. Good storage for a short stay. Nice to have somewhere to hang your towel after a swim at the beach. There was no instruction anywhere on which apartment it was once we had the key. Had to call someone who couldn’t even find the booking at first. It was a rainy week and the ceiling in the bedroom leaked, glad it wasn’t on the bed and I found a bucket. One tap in each bathroom sink couldn’t be turned on at all. We couldn’t get the cooktop or the oven to work. The light came on but no instructions of anything else we needed to press. Finally there was a very dangerous looking power point in the kitchen which needed repair. I understood free Wi-Fi was included but no note anywhere of the password. So some of this was disappointing to say the least but as it was a short stay for a family funeral we were out a lot anyway. Grateful for a dry bed and a shower. The apartment need a good overhaul with a plumber and electrician to get thing safe and working again. And perhaps a discount if you have to place a bucket in your bedroom while you wait for the upstairs waterproofing to be fixed. I’d recommend a little information folder with all necessary info clear.

• Sarah (5/5): Great position, lovely staff, dodgy accomodation. - Great position and friendly staff. Faulty fire alarm that had to be removed in the middle of the night by maintenance staff, leaking roof that had very obviously been unsuccessfully repaired previously, no screens on 3rd story windows with kids so had to shut the place up and steam. Seemed to be surface level clean, under the couch had previous tenants belongings, crumbs under the couch cushions, bathrooms smelt damp, no internet. Booking said reserve now, pay on arrival... got an email demanding total payment 30 days before arrival and then they took bond money from my account with another email wanting my banking details to take more bond money?

Several restaurants in the area and within walking distance (1.5 km) to a decent size shopping centre with everything you need. I even changed phone plans there. Close to the beach with a swimming pool. The people at reception were great, they helped me lots which made all the difference with finding difficulties with your accommodation. The place did not look like in the pictures. Unfortunately, it was dirty. The beds were not made and the last thing you want to do when you arrive at your accommodation is to make your bed. The building/unit is old and getting to the carpark space was a bit difficult. Spots are very small.
