Guest Reviews
- Simon (10/5): I stayed here for a week while working in the area, it was nice to comeback to a clean, warm and comfortable place after - The cabin was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were very easy to deal with and accommodating.
- Colleen (4/5): Too many negatives - It was private. It was renovated in the living and bedrooms. Flooring unstable especially in the shower area. Oldest bathroom I've seen since 1975. Beautiful wood heater but had to Message for wood and kindling which was delivered but no apology. No welcome book or any instructions. No outside table and chairs just a few logs around a pit fire. Tv didn't work to which I was told to point remote directly at base of tv which meant getting up and even then hit and miss. Power went out early morning . I then read on another site the property was all off grid. I had no idea on the 600 acreas where the main homestead was . After losing power I felt unsafe and only stayed one night of a 2 night booking.
- Mark (9/5): Rustic nature retreat style at its best - Beautiful bush location, back to nature, unfortunately we could not stay a few more days to relax and recover, next time we will
- Suwash (10/5): - I liked all the facility.
- Catherine (7/5): - The isolation of the cottage on the property, made for a quiet and peaceful stay. The owners provided bottled water as the main source of drinking water. A pump near the cottage was noisy during the night.
- Saiwal (10/5): Best place for a retreat near Melbourne - Quite and nice Nothing
- Frank (9/5): -
- rooney (7/5): - When I contacted to request a late checkout was told can come early and leave anytime next day as no future booking. Private and close to Tallarook where I attended a function. I found the bed too soft but clearly thats personal preference.

- Janice (9/5): - Quiet area
- Chris (7/5): Perfect overnight stay for a stopover in the area - Beautiful location. Very peaceful environment. Pleasant well appointed living area Bed, bedding and pillows could do with an update. . Bathroom is very small and outdated.
- Michael (9/5): Tidy Tallarook cottage. - Quiet, rural location with a great outlook. The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the wood fire and meeting the local goats.Comfy bed and a well equipped kitchen. While the cabins location suited our needs it is quite isolated and the drive in on gravel roads may not be to the liking of some guests.
