Guest Reviews
- Lm (4/5): In short, a cold, tiring, and desperate experience in the heart of Madrid. - Pros:
The location is superb, close to attractions, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.
Speedy reimbursement for the toilet paper we had to buy! Back to the old Frankfurt days, inescapable grimness even when in Spain. ~A beBalmy experience~
1. We weren’t notified of the poor connection of the digital house keys, and had to ask the stay about alternative ways to check in. Even then, we had to ask repeatedly about how to get it as it was not written anywhere about how we could access our rooms without the digital keys. (See attached image, personal information are blurred out but you can see how much interaction there had to be from our side just to get access to our room!)
2. The room did not have toilet paper, (even though stated on the property description) and the toilet was unusable unless you open the lid to press down the flush buttons. Though after we had to purchase our own toilet paper, the property offered reimbursement which is very much appreciated.
3. The shower often runs cold all of a sudden. But that’s fine because once you’re out of it the leaky air from the balcony makes it even harsher for you.
4. The Balcony leaks in cold air, and even with the heating provided it is still too cold for January in Madrid. The AC is unadjustable as well.
5. The kitchen utensils are quite limited, it’s almost impossible to cook there, very tiny countertop with minimal tools to cook with.
